I love that this place has a drive thru! It's conveniently located right off of 168th and Harrison. I ordered the 16oz iced white chocolate mocha and it was delicious! We also got a strawberry banana smoothie. The smoothie was good, but we loved the coffee. Service was super quick and the whole ordeal took less than 5 minutes. We didn't get a chance to peek inside, so maybe we'll do that our next visit! They have a few food and sweets options that I hope to try next time as well. read more

Green Beans has a nice space to spend time in and a comfortable vibe. They have a children's play area in the back, which cannot be said for most coffee shops. It's a good spot to gather with friends. In my experience, their ambiance outperforms the actual coffee. I think after trying Green Beans Coffee for the first time the other day, my Scooters days are over! I first heard of Green Beans after seeing a sign on the side of the road which advertised that they were hiring. I started following them on Facebook so I would know when they would open. I just love to try new coffee places since my second love is coffee! They finally opened and we gave it a try. When you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. There are comfortable couches around a fireplace and ample amounts of tables where you could go and study if you wanted to. What I really love about this place is that there is a lil beans area where your kids can play! I have not seen another coffee shop that has one of those! We ordered three drinks. One sugar free caramel latte with soy, a regular caramel latte with soy, and an apple cider. I also ordered a spinach salad and a muffin for the daught. Total cost was under $25 compared to other places where we'd have an upcharge for nondairy milk! The coffees were delicious! There is coffee flavor for sure and the espresso does its job! I hate when I buy a coffee and I'm still tired :) My daughter really loved the apple cider and ordered it again when we went today. The salad was really big and tasty, my husband had to finish it for me. The muffin was apparently good! It was demolished. They make all their food in house too so even better! Other foods they offer are sandwiches, soups,cookies, scones, and more. They have a pretty big menu. I really enjoyed this place. You guys should check it out. read more

I've been here going through the drive through a few times and I've finally found my favorite, which won't stop me from trying something else but it will be a challenge, it's the iced cafe mocha, it's strong and makes me sneeze but it is oh so yummy and was a life saver when I was going on a few hours of sleep at work. I believe a medium comes with 2 shots of espresso and boy did I need it! I haven't tried their coffee with soy yet but I'd love to the next time I go. Yesterday I tried their freshly baked cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting and boy oh boy was it yummy!! It's a pretty large portion size and warmed up, well it was icing on the roll!! I loved every bite and it's probably a good thing that there isn't a Green Beans Coffee shop near where I live or I'd be getting this cinnamon roll every day and well there goes my jeans size! The staff here are uber friendly too! The girls are smiley and upbeat and always repeat the order back just to be sure they got your order right, which I love! Driving through on trip and wanted breakfast NOT from McDonalds. We got lattes. I don't often drink coffee - I don't really like it. I had coconut milk and an extra shot of chocolate. It was the best coffee I've ever had. My husband says it was really good and he's a big coffee drinker. The grand croissant sandwich was good. Not sure what kind of eggs they use, not my favorite part of the sandwich. The sandwich was huge. My husband had the burrito and did not care for it. He did say the coffee shop interior had a great atmosphere and look. This is a huge winner for coffee!!! Decent food if you're looking to drive thru quick. Really really bad coffee quality, unfortunately. I guess if you like your coffee/lattes pumped with flavorings then anywhere is fine. Judging by other reviews, in Nebraska, if you label your business as "supporters of the armed forces and veterans" everyone becomes blind to the actual taste of your food and buys from you anyway. I loved this place and what they stand for! I think it is so cool they are veteran owned. Also, they have their products on bases over seas for troops which is amazing. Excellent coffee spot, military friendly. Stopped here for lunch and had an open face buffalo chicken sandwich. Food is excellent. I had an iced coffee and I loved the taste. Other places I have gone too had burnt or bad tasting coffee. The interior is very nice, they have TV's to watch sports or news. Staff was friendly and funny. There is a nice play area for kids too. My favorite coffee shop in Omaha! And, as a plus, it is veteran-owned! Amber, the manager, is an absolute doll and has made me feel welcome from day one. I came in for the first time, came back a month or so later, and she recognized me and welcomed me back and has remembered my drink ever since. What customer service! This is how you do it. The drinks themselves are delicious. Their espresso is perfect and goes down so smooth. My favorite is their white chocolate mocha. I don't usually go for a drink this sweet but theirs is the perfect amount of sweet with coffee flavor. Lovely! They also make their own food unlike other coffee shops that are primarily frozen and then thawed overnight. Everything I've ever had is delicious, and the one time I had an issue with my drink it was because a newer employee made it. They re-made my drink for me in a bigger size and it was a great, positive teaching moment for the new employee. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're able to give them your business, you surely won't regret it! read more

I stop into Green Beans a couple of times a month. I am far from a regular but it is close to the house and convenient for a cup of coffee between taking the two boys to school. I have only gotten coffee so I cannot speak to the other items on the menu but the coffee is very good. The location itself is always clean. I usually get my coffee to go but there is plenty of seating, particularly if you are there with a few friends and want to chat in comfort. There are a few tables, as well, if you need a place to sit and maybe get some work done. The staff is always very nice and as James H. mentioned, it is the same people each time I've been in, so the consistency is nice. The do have a drive thru, as well, if you need something on the fly. A five star coffee shop, without a doubt, and the story of the company itself is very cool.
