I was very excited when I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday because all the reviews were great. But what I ordered and what she received are two totally different things. This really breaks my heart because I was not able to see my mom on her special day so I wanted to surprise her with gorgeous flowers. I've posted a picture of what I ordered vs what she got. I ordered a beautiful bouquet online yesterday and had it delivered today, it was so easy and everyone was so friendly!! I called late afternoon to confirm the delivery and they were very helpful. My friend I had the flowers delivered to said they were absolutely gorgeous. They were incredibly helpful and called me right away when they couldn't get up to the apartment to deliver them, I was able to call my friend and have her go down to pick up the flowers and I was so grateful they contacted me to make sure they were delivered!! It was my first time ordering online with them, but I have been buying flowers from them for 20 years. I remember getting all my boutonnieres in high school from them, and all of my bouquets since. I usually go into the store but knowing that online is so easy I will definitely be doing both. I received a picture of the arrangement delivered and I was extremely disappointed. I placed an order for Mother's Day and immediately got a call that they didn't have the vase and would it be ok to deliver the Saturday before to make sure the box was available - this was totally fine with me and extremely nice of them to call. The flowers arrived and they were absolutely beautiful! One little mishap, I had ordered a box of chocolate with the flowers which didn't show up. I called to let them know and they could not have been nicer about how they handled this...apologized multiple times and offered to get the chocolate out the next day with an additional bud vase for an apology. Ordered from teleflora (which I will never do again) and what was delivered was not nearly what was pictured. Other than the flowers (which I appreciate because that was a pain alone to find them) the basket is cheap, there were no butterflies (it was called a butterfly basket) and they didn't even bother trimming the wire off the ribbon. Overall really disappointed because when you have a picture to go off you expect at least close and even without a picture come of trimming the wire should be a given. read more

My East Coast family sent me a get well arrangement and "The Growing Co" filled this order. I've never complained about flowers, guess I've been lucky with the ones before. This arrangement includes white carnations that have brown and wilted bottom outer leaves of the flower. From my experience carnations are a very hardy cut flower so these must be very old. I called to tell them about the dying carnations and was told the owner was out of town preparing flowers for a wedding. The employee really didn't know what to do, but she said she would call the owner. Haven't heard back yet but for ANY florist to send out this in fresh-and quality of flowers is dreadful.
