I ordered a sympathy arrangement over the phone. The person taking the order asked if she could make some a change or two to the type of flowers and I agreed. I received a picture of the arrangement delivered and I was extremely disappointed. Not only does it not look like what I ordered based off the photo on the website, the number of flowers was just sad for a deluxe order costing $130.00. I would not recommend . Della is simply the best to work with, and has the most beautiful floral arrangements to boot. I recently got married, and I was referred to Della at The Growing Company by a dear friend, so I knew she wouldn't steer me wrong. I had done a significant amount of research via Pinterest to get an idea of the type of arrangement I would like for my bouquet. I found a beautiful bouquet of various type of flowers in varying shades of purple, although mostly deep purple hues. I showed the photo to Della, and she replicated (and knew every single flower) the bouquet. It was absolutely beautiful. She made centerpieces that were just as lovely. In fact, my guests were lobbying to be one of the chosen ones to get to take home on of these fabulous centerpieces. I placed an order for Mother's Day and immediately got a call that they didn't have the vase and would it be ok to deliver the Saturday before to make sure the box was available - this was totally fine with me and extremely nice of them to call. The flowers arrived and they were absolutely beautiful! One little mishap, I had ordered a box of chocolate with the flowers which didn't show up. I called to let them know and they could not have been nicer about how they handled this...apologized multiple times and offered to get the chocolate out the next day with an additional bud vase for an apology. Ordered from teleflora (which I will never do again) and what was delivered was not nearly what was pictured. Other than the flowers (which I appreciate because that was a pain alone to find them) the basket is cheap, there were no butterflies (it was called a butterfly basket) and they didn't even bother trimming the wire off the ribbon. Overall really disappointed because when you have a picture to go off you expect at least close and even without a picture come of trimming the wire should be a given. read more

My East Coast family sent me a get well arrangement and "The Growing Co" filled this order. I've never complained about flowers, guess I've been lucky with the ones before. This arrangement includes white carnations that have brown and wilted bottom outer leaves of the flower. From my experience carnations are a very hardy cut flower so these must be very old. I called to tell them about the dying carnations and was told the owner was out of town preparing flowers for a wedding. The employee really didn't know what to do, but she said she would call the owner. Haven't heard back yet but for ANY florist to send out this in fresh-and quality of flowers is dreadful.
