I went searching for an alternative traffic school and came across this place. They offer a very affordable online class which is engaging, interesting and kinda funny. I enjoyed logging in whenever I had time to complete the course and go back to re-read the material as needed. I learned information I had not known before and received a refresher on material I had not read about for a long time. It was so much better than spending an 8 hour day (on the weekend no less!) in a stuffy classroom. Online learning FTW :). It was a great learning experience and I would highly recommend this traffic school you unfortunately receive a ticket.

All classroom courses are held at the Marriott Courtyard Rancho Bernardo the first and third Saturday of every month. With his talents, experience and common sense approach to the laws and safe driving Alan has even received ovations from his students. Since its inception, the school has never cancelled a class and has never turned anybody away. As an added service to the classroom students, there is a standing invitation to call Alan at any time if they have questions concerning legal matters or subsequent citations. Past students are constantly referring friends and relatives to the school. Now adding the online and home study experiences, Poway Rancho will continue to provide the same excellent service it has a reputation for.

I'm a current studednt here about to go on externship. I think my rating is fair when you consider…read moreboth administration and the Lab Instructors. PROS: -Lab Instructors are helpful and fair with grading -Open lab is helpful when DMS Students need extra practice for lab. Can be congested with the excessive amount of students at times though -There is tutoring offered at no extra cost -You can rent out any book at the LRC, helpful Now, here's where I have several issues with this campus: The administration here is small, and because it's small and always changing, the communication is awful between the students and the enrollment admin, externship coordinators, program directors, director of education, and campus director. CONS: -Small amount of admin staff leads to poor communication -Externship site coordinators are terrible at responding to student inquiries in a timely manner -Enrollment admin is forgetful and can't seem to get back to student's within time, or respond to any emails or inquiries we/they have in a timely manner. -Every quarter at this campus, we have some rule change to open lab to "assist" with the congestion, this confuses students and leads to resentment between students and admin -Curriculum is often inconsistent, protocols are ever changing, leading to confusion among students in EPL -Physics and Knobology is not offered at the beginning of a new quarter for a new student, so they are unfamiliar with the machine and how it operates, leading to failed competencies. (A brief introduction to how the ultrasound machines work would be very helpful to new students.) Overall, my rating of Smith Chason College is 3/5 stars. I really enjoy my time during lab with my instructors, they are all very helpful and kind, patient too. I don't think I could say the same for administration (Except for Financial Aid, Career Services, and Student Services; they are all awesome and helpful.) If you are considering enrolling here, I would strongly encourage doing some research on this campus alone, it is not CAAHEP accredited, just ACCSC accredited; which means you have to sit for the ARRT before the ARDMS if you are in the AASDMS program. If you think you can handle the slow and lack of proper communication between enrollment admin, etc. Then I think it will be worth it considering the other aspects of the school are nice (Lab instructors, tutoring, open lab, etc.)

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience trying to get information about Smith Chason's…read moreMRI program has been incredibly frustrating. It's been over a month, and I still haven't been able to get accurate information about the program. After filling out the online inquiry form, I spoke with someone in admissions who recommended I attend a Zoom information session. I arranged daycare and adjusted my schedule so I could attend. Once the presentation started, the instructor explained that the session had nothing to do with the MRI program. It was exclusively about the Ultrasound program. I notified my admissions representative, who apologized and said he would send me a presentation with information about the MRI program. Instead, he sent me the exact same Ultrasound presentation. I then asked to be referred to someone else who could actually answer my questions about MRI, but I never received a response. I cannot emphasize enough how frustrating and unprofessional this experience has been. If a school can't provide basic information to a prospective student after more than a month, it doesn't inspire confidence in the program or the institution as a whole.

The color was off , hair damaged, didnt even look like a balayage & bad service. The student was also supposed to graduate in a month (Gabriela) and was completely not ready. At the end mentioned she didn't even have time for a blowout, almost expected me to walk out with wet hair. The teacher ((ALEXIS , picture above)) still expected and forcefully made me pay before even offering to fix the mistake and threatened to call police if i didn't. Once they offered to fix it , the solution they came up with didnt seem reasonable I knew it wouldnt be fixed correctly. She didn't really care about the issue but cared more about the school losing money. The teacher even mentioned continuing to schedule for more redos until it came out right which didnt sound correct she should know how to fix it the first time not do multiple redos. I posted my inspo pic and what they actually did. Next day I went to multiple salons to confirm weather what the teacher suggested to do as a redo to fix my hair was correct and was told at all salons that it was not the solution. Wrong products and procedures were put on my hair. I had to pay much more to get it fixed at another salon & had to pay for hair treatment due to the damage they caused. No one has this much time to waste for such disappointment and useless teachers and students. First and last time coming here ! I dont recommend.

I hesitated on booking a cooking class for a long time. You know how it is. You stare at the price,…read moreyou do the math, you think "I could just go eat sushi." And that's where most people screw up, because eating out you can blow a pile of money and walk away with nothing but a receipt and a vague feeling you got hustled. Then I pulled the trigger on Chef Krong for my birthday. Best decision I made all year. Here's the thing nobody tells you about cooking classes: a good one isn't about the food, it's about what your kids walk away knowing. And let me tell you, my kids LEARNED. Real, actual hard skills. Not "we waved some seaweed around" skills. A week later they made a mountain of sushi entirely on their own. Unprompted. Voluntarily. If you've got kids, you know that's basically witchcraft. Chef Krong made the whole thing a hit. She's patient, she's a real teacher, and she turns your kitchen into the best restaurant in town for an evening. You bring her into your house and suddenly everybody's happy, everybody's involved, and you're eating better than any place that's gonna stick a $14 cocktail on your tab. Money well spent doesn't even cover it. This is one of those rare deals where you pay for something and it actually keeps paying you back. We are absolutely doing another session. Huge recommendation. Stop staring at the price. Book it.
