Apparently they are going to try to get your money anyway they can. I cancelled a purchase a day later because i was delayed and decided i didnt want the gun i chose ( found it cheaper elsewhere) and they had the balls to charge me a $40 restock fee (for what?). Besides all the other shady things this store has done, this is the last straw! The $40 restock fee is BS!!!!!!!!! I will never buy anything else from them. They wont get another dime from me EVER!!!!! I hope the 40 bucks was worth it. You lost more than you have gained by having bad customer service. read more

I purchased a firearm here a few months ago. I also bought a100 pack of CCI ammo. I was told I could only purchase 1 a day, so come back and get another one. When I went out of my way, I was told I couldn't and it was only for when someone buys a gun. I could buy another gun, and they would let me purchase 1 more. No apologies. I emailed them and to this day, no response. Any reasonable shop anywhere would have apologized, explained the "rules" and let me purchase 1 for all my trouble. Not this place! And I was treated Ridley because I explained what I was told. BTW, they only publish 5 star reviews on their website, not 1 star reviews. It took two days of phone conversations and only 2.5 minutes of being inside their Worcester location to be told three different stories and told "I'm sorry" four times by three different employees. When establishments screw up they usually do what they can to make up for it (in my instance the only thing in the way was supervisor arrogance) but not this place. Their motto is "when we F*up we know how to say sorry the best". This group of incompetent retards act like their the only gun dealer in the country and could really give a S* about you. So if you enjoy dealing with S*heads who cannot all be on the same page then this is the place for you. I personally feel dumber driving by the joint. read more

With the availability of ammo and firearms due to everything going on in the country, it was nice to see a rather large selection of both. I first purchased an AR from here with an optic and a rail. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, plenty of selection from .380 and .22 up to .308win etc. I then bought a sig 1911 by paying in two installments (layaway) all went well. I wanted to do the same for another AR. The owner refused to do it based on the fact that it was such a high demand item and it was selling so well? I don't understand that kind of decision. I spent 3000 dollars already, and would have spent 2500 more. It would have been paid in the course of 4 weeks. Needless to say they lost me as a customer due to that policy. If you show loyalty to your customers they will return. Their prices have gotten worse, no one in their right mind would pay 650 for a gen 2 glock for instance. I don't care if it's MA approved. 3 stars based on selection and the staff. Update: Minus 4 stars based on their anti 2a stance and making MA a crappier place for gun owners. All set with you guys.. Very poor service! Purchased a belt, tried to return it the next day because the buckles would not go through pant loops, not worn, mind you. Had tags and receipt. Refused to take it back offered store credit. Nothing I want from there, drove an hour to make the return. Ended up buying something I didn't need to use up the credit. Two things the Gun Parlor can take to the bank along with my $75,, (1) they've lost a customer who spends a lot of cash,,, (2) I will give them as much negative publicity as I can muster!! read more

Nice newer shop. Decent selection of guns. Staff and customer service are really, really good. Prices are pretty good. I bought a firearm there and they threw in a box of ammo and some targets. Just a few things they could do a little better. -they need a bigger sign on the street. I drove by twice before I found it -expand the floor space devoted to guns and accessories. -Better segregate the firearm side from the motorsports side. -a better selection of ammo. Get some shelving and stack the ammo up. Price it right and it will fly. read more

I bought a used shotgun from The Gun Parlor. the gun was far from being a sellable item, and they should have known, and never let it out of the store the way it was. ( the barrel was bent) they offered to fix it, using up valuable hunting time. (at 20 yards it shot 10 inches high, and 4 inches to the left). I have since replaced the barrel, I am truly disappointed in the company. They were just out for the money. read more

We were interested in buying three STI pistols. They would not own up to the ones we wished to buy were demo guns. They were asking full price and with that we left and purchased them elsewhere. Also when asked to see a S&W performance 1911, they said that S&W quality was no longer any good. Our friend who recently purchased one and can shoot 1" groups at 1 yards thinks they are telling stories because they want to push other brands. Having dealt with many gun shops across the state, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this one is by far the best. They carry a variety of firearms, ammo and accessories that would make anybody's mouth water. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. I frequently send them a note for something special I am looking for, and they never dissapoint. They can usually get whatever it is for me within a week. Don't take my word for it. As a veteran and retired California PD Sgt (range master and survival shooting instructor), I'm always on the lookout for a professionally operated indoor gun range. I came across the Gun Parlor while browsing the internet and it looked like a possibility. But then I read the reviews and that raised a number of red flags. But since most of the bad reviews were written within a week, I suspected something happened that wasn't usual. So I kept checking the web for prices. Nothing was listed. Then I telephoned and found out why there are no prices listed. The membership fee is nothing less than exorbitant at $375 per year. Veterans and cops get it for $325, still way too high. I used to have a gold membership at Smith and Wesson for $50 per year. Plus all members must have an LTC to shoot there. That's not necessarily a bad thing because it keeps the bad guys out, but to require a wife to have an LTC as well is a little too much. Sounds like they want to sell LTC lessons and then charge a spouse a membership fee too. I doubt these people will be in business very long. read more

The Gun Parlor is hands down the most customer friendly gun shop I have ever been in. As a male in my 20's I have experienced on several occasions poor treatment at gun shops due to my age and the shop keepers assuming I cannot afford any of their merchandise. The guys at the gun parlor were the complete opposite. After verifying I had a proper license (as they should), one of their employees, Peter Gourousis, was more than happy to hand me any of the firearms in the store and answered all of my questions, even the most basic ones. The whole staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the products they sell. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a firearm and especially to anyone who is just getting into firearms because these guys are certainly here to help you and aren't there to make you feel intimidated. Worst buying experience I have ever had... Bought a new HK VP9 which I briefly inspected at the store. After bringing it home I wiped off the oil film on the upper slide only to find a vertical scatch on the left side of the firearm that was through the black finish. My first inclination was to return it for a replacement but I decided to call HK first. They agreed with me that I should bring it back to the dealer for an exchange knowing fully well that there was a paperwork exercise to go through. Well I must say that my expectations did not come close to being met. Thinking that this was a reputable dealer and that an exchange would be honored, I was surprised at the outfight refusal to exchange the firearm. According to them, they had no responsibility and that I should take up the issue with HK. Needless to say they have lost a customer and I will certainly spread the word of my experience as I have many friends and colleagues who are shooters. The ironic part was that I was in a position to purchase 2 additional firearms totaling over $2500.00.... I will now seek out a real reputable dealer. read more
