Missy was such a great expert in providing options and advice. I made my decision and was thrilled with her work. Missy is such a great conversationalist and a warm energy. While waiting, there were a few kids getting their hair cut in a small sports car chair with their favorite cartoons on the TV. I will only be going back to Missy and The Buzz from now on. We got there quarter after 9, on Saturday morning, and Missy (the stylist) was just wrapping up the first customer. My son was hesitant at first, but soon headed toward the convertible car chair in excitement! In addition to the chair, Missy turned on the movie Cars while he got his cut. Missy was great with him, carrying conversation while trimming his moving head. The cut was quick, roughly 15 minutes, and well done! He was rewarded with a lollipop after and the total came to $17.XX--not bad! We also got bonus card--buy 9 get 1 free. Will definitely be returning!

Even more, she encouraged me during my trial to go for a curly, whimsical look (I had planned to wear it in a straight bob), and I am so glad she did. She knew what she was talking about. She also somehow did six bridemaids hair + the mother of the groom in 5 1/2 hours. I do not know how she did it. And a handful of the bridesmaids did not originally sign up to get their hair done, and Becca graciously fit them in. When I was a few minutes late for my own hair appointment tim, her response was "I'm on your schedule - no worries." She was calm, professional, and really fun to be around the day of the wedding. If Becca is available, snap her up asap - she is as good as it gets.

I have always had trouble taming and styling my in-between straight/wavy hair but with this cut I can let it air dry, scrunch it with Julia's Beach, Please salt spray in the morning, and go. The environment of the studio is very creative and relaxing. I also loved browsing through the vintage shop while I waited. 10/10, would recommend.

WORST MANICURE EVER. I went here last week because I needed…read morea haircut and manicure. I initially wanted a shellac manicure, but the stylist said she was not able to do those, so I went with the regular manicure. I should have taken that as a sign of bad things to come, because I received the worst manicure ever. She was afraid to cut my nails as short as I wanted and just ignored clipping the edges of my nails. She completely smudged one nail and ignored it until I asked her to re-do it. She only polished the middle of my nails and it smudged before I even left the store because she put so many layers of polish on. Worst is that she ignored my cuticles. What a waste of $30, my nails look like I did them myself which I might as well have. It would have saved time (she took 90 minutes to do my nails?!?!) and would have looked the same if not better. STAY AWAY!! PS-Haircut was fine, I just asked for a trim. And my stylist was very nice, so I feel bad leaving this review, but the manicure is just terrible.
