What a bummer. Great little spot and very nice folks, but my hair doesn't look good. I had very long, non layered, natural hair. I came in to have it colored dark with a purple tint. That looks ok though, I walked away with color basically all over my clothes, face and skin. In fact, I had to tell the stylist to move it and it ended up tinting my eyebrow, kind of shocking tbh. Now where it got really bad is the cut. I was very weary to cut and layer it. I didn't even want a cut, just came in for color. She said let's do a trim. I said fine, then she suggested I need layers which I really didn't need or want. I should have spoken up, but my hair is now 3 inches shorter in the back and probably 5 inches shorter in the front. I know hair grows back, but it just doesn't look anything like what I wanted. Advice to the stylist, listen and read your customer. I don't want to name her and ruin her business, but I hope she changes the way she approaches har clients. read more

A great place that was recommended and my first appointment great and yes to a new hairdresser. Her name is Shelby The place is alittle hard to find as written on a small signage with other places. You also need to enter a door that's not showing Hair Hq.. My 2nd appointment was just as good and Shelby is a good colorist. Suggest you go by first to check out location especially if your running late. Also make sure and check your email as a reminder will be sent to email address. I stumbled upon this salon completely by accident around a year ago when I was hunting for a good stylist to give me the ever-so-popular ombré style using the bayalage technique. Kailee was amazing and I adored my hair so much that I didn't change the color at all for almost the whole year, letting it grow until it was time to finally cut the blonde parts off. A few days ago, that's exactly what I did, and the cut and style were amazing. I was a little scared to cut my hair so short because I'm used to it being long, but now that it's a little longer than shoulder length, I'm loving the difference and how much healthier it feels. Both pictures attached are the result of Kailee's wonderful work! I even recommended Kailee and Jennifer to my parents, who now get haircuts with them whenever it's needed. They are wonderful, welcoming and fun to talk to. A well deserved 5 stars! read more

First visit to salon and had pleasure to have Kailee for my first haircut for the year. Kailee did not disappoint and was detailed and took her time. She asked questions on what I was looking for, shampooed my hair as well as styled it. Wow! What a difference in getting haircut and style. My hair felt immediately less heavy and was brought back to life! They use primarily Kevin Murphy hair products. I will definitely be back and will book with Kailee. Book online via Vagaro app. The salon is quaint and cute located on the 2nd floor of a two-story office building. There are other salons and administrative offices in the same building. Salon is not in a strip mall. It is near Color Me Bella Aveda just West of N 87th Ave. **Side note: My haircut included shampoo and style. It appears that most salon these days no longer offer a full service and charge a la carte for each item. I'm sure that works in urban markets such as NYC, LA and SF but I truly find it disappointing that a hair salon is unable to provide a full service to wash, cut and style your hair. This is a key part of the customer experience IMHO. read more

Jessica and Jenny are both the most awesome people you'll meet. On two different visits, I came in to cut my hair for donation. I'm not a hair style type of girl, so I always allow the stylist to cut my hair however they please at my desired length. Both times, I left feeling beautiful! I loved my hair cut and I seriously would not go anywhere else. Both women were very easy to talk to as well as personable. I never feel like I'm coming into the salon to simply cut my hair. I got my hair done Kaliee. I had a balayage done by her. She did amazing with the ends of the hair, for the color but the top where it's suppose to melt from black to brown then blonde it's a bit harsh. There's spotting, some blotches, and it just doesn't melt or blend. Don't get me wrong it looks good from the bottom but I didn't noticed how it all looked till I got home and looked closely in the mirror and went section by section. I get my hair was black but it's suppose to melt or blend into a brown. Now I have to wait to get it fixed so I don't damage my hair from the bleach. Literally makes me want to swallow the fact I spent 150+ and go back to Black. read more

Jenny did an amazing job I dyed my hair red about 7 months prior to my appointment, and wanted to begin the process of changing to blonde (I'm a natural brunette with thick hair). I expected to leave the salon with copper hair, and make another appointment for a second round, in order to reach my hair goals. My hair came out brassy like when i try to bleach it myself. Not a $200 hairdo by any stretch. The stylist did not offer to fix it. I went to Super Cuts and had the cut fixed but the color is bad. If you're going to charge those prices in Peoria, AZ you better be as close to perfect as possible. read more

I had great expectations for a hair cut today. I brought a picture of what I wanted and it didn't seem to be a problem, however, it was. The A-line that I wanted turned out to be a short all one length hair cut and when it was tapered in the back to try to accommodate my request it just became an extremely short hair cut. I don' think this is bad salon but I think I choose the wrong stylist. read more
