I get my hair cut with lots of short layers and I go platinum blond on occasion (I'm a natural blond) and have loved it and always get compliments on my hair. I've never seen hair walking out of the salon that I didn't think looked great. While my hairs naturally straight my sisters has long, curly, thick hair and she also has been nothing but satisfied. My sister also went from bright blond to dark brown for 3 years and then recently back to blond with no problems. The hair stylist are experienced, sociable, welcoming, and great listeners to your wants and needs. They all have great hair and style and have the range of ages to fit every ones needs. My dad and his friends also love it here because they're comfortable and the girls do a great job. I have always gone to Stephanie, she is young and is capable of anything. I've had cuts, colors, highlights, and up dos from her and they're amazing every time. You will never be rushed out of this salon, they make sure you always look your best and it is one of the most affordable places I've ever been (conveniently). Quick set up: I've used the same hair stylist for the past couple of decades (yikes) -- and he's currently off his feet for a bit (wishing you well Antonio!) -- and probably 3-4 weeks overdue for a trim, went with Yelp contributors' referral of Jessica at Great Clips. First time client, she invited me to sit down and voice my preferences -- to which she listened, asked some questions, etc. and got to shampooing. Never had a shampoo, where at the cream rinse phase, the stylist sort of squeezes the product into the hair; almost like with a scalp massage. Probably the right way to do it -- "this IS great" I'm thinking to myself -- having noticed their company slogan. And then she started cutting my hair. Our conversation while she worked was pleasant -- and at every turn, Jessica's interest in producing a great cut seemed apparent. Outcome: I've never had a better haircut. Period.
