This happened months ago and I tried really hard to let it go but I just can't. I made an appointment and was booked with Emmy. Not only did she have me wait 20+ minutes after the scheduled time because she had to do a personal friends hair last minute. (Guess friends are more important than paying customers with appointments). THEN after having me wait she continued to straighten and style HER OWN HAIR while I was watching waiting for her to call me to her chair. She complained about her bad yelp review the whole time. She was very awkward, judgmental, and catty. I asked for a wolf cut with layers. All she did was cut bangs and trimmed my ends flat across. No layering like I asked. Charged me for a full cut. Overall awful experience due to this stylist. Which really let me down I had high hopes for this salon. read more

My first experience here with Angie was amazing! She was great, did an amazing job, and went above and beyond with the styling. However, my last experience here with Emmy was terrible and I almost cried when I got home. I have two side shaves with an undercut and she totally messed up my lines, when all she had to do was follow what was already there. I now have to find someone to fix my lines. I also asked Emmy to fix my hair for a family event I was going to that night. I have never had a professional hair dresser 'fix' my hair in such a way. She didn't use any product or brush when blowing it dry, no straightener or curling iron, I had to ask for some hair spray, fly always every where! She tried two 'styles' that to me where more appropriate for cleaning my house. Then when I finally realized that I wasn't going to be getting anything nice I said a French braid would do. My eight year old nephew can do a better braid. When I got home and saw the swath of bear scalp on the top left of my head, the angled shave on my under cut that should be and was straight, and the falling out braid I almost cried. I did what I could to cover the situations and fix my hair nicely for the event that evening. But I will never let Emmy touch my hair again. read more

Well I WAS going to be a new customer. I'm new to the area and this salon was the top recommended salon in the area for balayage on yelp. I made my appt for 1:45pm on a Saturday with Emmy. I called an hour prior to my appt to see if she was going to be ready earlier then my appt time bc I was out running errands. She said that she wouldn't be ready for me early..no big deal. I get there at 1:35 and she was mixing the solution for the customer that was supposed to be processing when I was getting done. At 1:50 she comes up to me and tells me she's going to be another 20 mins. I wait...and at 2:15 she still was not done coloring the woman's hair before me. So after waiting 30 mins and she's still not even finished coloring the girls hair before me, I decide it's better if I just leave because my time is precious just like hers. I tell her I'm leaving and then she proceeds to tell me how every customer that day had shown up late which set her back....I would have appreciated to have been told when I called prior to my appt that she was running extremely behind and offered to reschedule then rather then me waste my entire Saturday around a hair appt that never ended up happening. read more

I called Saturday morning as soon as they opened asking if they took walk-ins for a quick end cleanup. I was scheduled to come in the next half hour. Bailey was wonderful and had me in and out within 20 minutes! It was a nice quiet morning in the salon. The other staff were very friendly as well. The salon isn't large but the chairs are laid out nicely. There also isn't an overwhelming smell of hair products which is nice. Know that there is an upcharge if you want to pay with a credit card. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a drink. My stylist was Amber she was very kind and explained to me what was achievable with my hair and made sure I knew that there was an up charge for my hair since it's thick and told me what I was going to pay beforehand so it wasn't a surprise at the end. The place was very lovely the girls have done a great job with the decor ..they also have a cute little boutique I was able to get hair products plus recommendations on how to care and style my hair properly.. I came here and a last-second appointment and got in and the person wanted my more than large self to squeeze in between the boots to get to their station so I wasn't happy about that so whenever I had walked around I got a good view and the place was just filthy it is I'm sitting in her chair with the cape around me looking at how dirty and disorganized and in the price and I couldn't believe the pricing the boutique Salon pricing and I was sitting in filth so I usually just suffer through and get a haircut but I just want it was really boiling up in me and then as I showed them the picture that I had been carrying around for years wanting this hairstyle told her exactly what I wanted and then she was like well maybe you should just find out what you want before you come in that's what I was like are you kidding me I've picked out the haircut that I wanted for the past three years and you're telling me to come back when I know what I want I'm using voice to text so this may be Lost in Translation But ultimately to place is filthy they didn't listen to me they were very patient with my frustrations But ultimately I lacked the confidence that they would be able to do a proper haircut since they couldn't even have proper hygiene I left I had a little bit of cash I gave a small tip for wasting your time and left and I will never go back read more

Madison is AMAZING! I moved out to the desert 2 years ago, I got married in May 2017 and was really worried about finding someone to do my updo for my outdoor rustic theme wedding. I've never been happy with an updo in the past and a lot of stylist I found in the desert were either flaky or just could not do what I wanted. Madison was so sweet and so willing to work with me until I was comfortable, I had a trial and I loved my hair! When I had my final dress fitting I started thinking that the original updo that we did was a little too fancy for my dress, my dress had a lot going on already so I needed more of a simple updo. I showed Madison the new look and she was all for it, I did not have a 2nd trial but she nailed it the day of. Madison also did my moms half updo which my mom loved, my mom has worn her hair the same way since I was born (I'm 27!), so her loving it says a lot. Madison really took her time and gave me what I wanted, she was so sweet to offer to stay until after the ceremony when I wanted to remove my veil and put in a headpiece, she ended up showing one of my bridesmaids how to do it and they executed it perfectly without pulling out my updo when it was time to take out the veil. I did secure some of my baby hairs it a bit after the ceremony only because I like my baby hairs TIGHT, this is my own problem not Madisons (LOL). I posted quite a few pics so you can see my hair right after the ceremony with the veil and then during the reception with the headpiece, I also posted a pic with my mom which was way into the night and the hair was still holding up. I danced ALL night and the updo stayed secured. I would highly recommend Madison for cuts and updo's, I don't color my hair but I heard shes fantastic with color. Madison becomes more like a good friend then just your hair stylist at the end of your appointment. Thank you SO much Madison for being apart of making my wedding everything it was, everything from my dress to my makeup down to my hair (which was my biggest worry) was perfect and such a dream! read more

I have been looking for a new stylist for about a year now, I can not believe how difficult it is! I try to use Groupon as often as I can that way if my hair gets butchered at least I am not out $50 for a cut and style. Hubs knows I am having a hard time and my hair is suffering so for my bday/moms day he buys me a Groupon for a keratin straightening. Woo hoo! I book my appt. after asking about the different types they offer and how long the procedure takes. Calling a 2nd time with a couple more questions. Booked appt. but had to reschedule due to work. I let them know I have a Groupon so there are no surprises for them or me. Arrive there late due to construction in area. Mariah greets me. She is to be my stylist. She gets to work and is friendly. Then she springs the you have to buy our shampoo and conditioners and sign this contract stating that your hair straightening may not last as long if you don't buy our products. Did I mention is $60 for the pair. What the? Not once did they mention this in the phone calls or before we got started. Concerned that she would purposely cut corners, I signed the contract. Who likes to feel pressured? Not cool. Promptly phoned Groupon after paying for my shampoo and conditioner. They gave me a full refund! read more
