We specifically discussed the flowers I wanted, the overall vibe, and the flowers I absolutely did NOT want. I made it crystal clear: NO hydrangeas. Mostly roses!! When I arrived at the venue, not a single flower we selected was there. A completely different tablescape- I couldn't believe it. Instead, I was given a bunch of yellow and gold flowers - basically whatever was left sitting in their HOT refrigerator. The arrangement completely clashed with the entire tablescape and decor I had planned around the pink-and-white aesthetic. And yes -- despite specifically requesting no hydrangeas -- they were included too. The corsage look like it was a throwback from the 1980s. They charged $100 for that too.
