It's been a while since I've updated my review and worth and update since they've changed ownership since my last review and they've made some changes over the years. Most importantly though, you can still reliably get a killer manicure and pedicure here. The attention to detail and level of care given is incredible. My faves Pink and Tina are still knocking it out of the park with the most impeccable manicures I've had and I really can't see myself trusting my nails with anyone else. And I've caved and tried a place or two over the last couple years and regretted it. Won't make that mistake again!! What's changed? I'd say they've added more staff to keep up with the demand. You still should always try to make an appointment. I don't go anywhere these days without an appointment. And they also have added a number of services including their new head spa services that lol pretty amazing. If I didn't already go for regular massages I might consider it. They also have all the trendy gels and dips and builders and that you might be looking for. Oh, and they recently upgraded all their massage chairs! How could I forget that!! I definitely highly recommend the Hand & Foot Spa. Again, just make an appt and be sure to get there on time. They're sticklers for keeping on time. Alrighty now! So I walked in and I didn't check prices or anything. They were able to get me in for a manicure and a pedicure. I chose not to do gel just because I wanted to give my nails a breather. Anyhow, one of the techs came and got me and sat me at her chair. I asked for the manicure first so that it can dry while I was getting my pedicure. She was listening to her AirPods when we first started, but then I started telling her about my cuticles being sensitive and to just be cautious. She seemed very sweet. Anyway, the manicure was done and she put oil on my cuticles. She didn't say anything about a massage and I assumed since I got a regular manicure that she was going to wait for it to dry or something. I probably should've said something then, but normally when people get manicures, they want a massage too. Anyhow, we proceeded over to the pedicure station, which they have really nice chairs. I don't know if they offer water or anything, but she did offer me anything. Anyhow, we started talking about the tea shop next-door and how delicious it was. She seemed very kind and then the pedicure was over and there was a lot of lotion still left on my feet and she put my slippers on. After afterwards, she took me straight to pay and said it was $55. I asked her if I wasn't going to get a massage on my hands and if that wasn't a normal part of the manicure. SHE SAID IT DEPENDS ON THE TECH! She said some people don't like it so she doesn't give one unless it's asked for. I'm sorry, are you kidding me? You don't give a massage on hands when someone is coming for a manicure? How about ask me before you put polish!!!??? Are you for real? I was so baffled! She stood there while I checked out so I felt obligated to tip her. I was infuriated! I asked her again about the massage and I told her that I wanted a massage. She did not offer to do it and she did not have anyone else waiting. Decent conversation doesn't equal a tip for me, service does! Anyhow, I walked out of the shop and I was sliding in my sandals. I decided to come back in and ask if I can sit there until they were dry. A lady put me in the sitting area and turned on the fan underneath. I then grabbed my own towel from the handwashing station and wiped the lotion off my feet so that I wouldn't slip and fall. She went outside and she was on her phone. Then about 10 minutes later, another girl walked in and she went to her table in the back. She had plenty of time to do my massage on my hand, that I paid for! I am so mad right now I cannot believe that I even wasted my money here. I won't even mention her name, but she sits all the way in the back. How disgraceful! She didn't even make any eye contact when she came back in with her other customer. Who gets a manicure without a massage? And for $55! What a shame. read more

It took me a while to write this review because I don't like leaving negative feedback, but this experience has continued to bother me. I'm giving 3 stars mainly because of one nail tech. I've been coming here for a while and usually walk in, so I've seen several different technicians, and everyone else has been great. During my last visit, I came in for a gel manicure. I already had gel polish on, and the technician at station 7, usually have long fake lashes on started drilling it off. I wasn't comfortable with that, but I let her continue until it started burning my nail bed. When I told her it was burning, she said, "It's okay," and kept going. After the third finger, I told her again that it hurt. She responded with an attitude, stopped, and switched to soaking the gel off. I asked why we couldn't have soaked it off from the beginning, and she told me she was in a hurry because she had another client after me. Ironically, the gel removal and manicure (WITHOUT polish) still took an entire hour! By the end, I was frustrated and just wanted to pay and leave. I was charged $30, even though the posted price for a manicure is $20. I didn't say anything at the time, but overall it was the worst experience I've had here. I will likely return because I've had good experiences with the other technicians, but I will definitely avoid booking with this particular nail tech in the future. read more

I do not think it's been updated since they opened and it needs a bit of sprucing up. Their menu is great. I had a nice pedicure with paraffin and I felt renewed. this place used to be amazing, like a year ago. my parents live in the area and when i come to visit them from san diego, i would come here for a gel mani/reg pedi. i came here 5/18/24 for a gel mani and regular pedi with hazel. the next day, less than 12 hours later, i noticed my pedi did not look good at all (see picture) not sure if it's because the polish is white. one of my gel nails is already peeling off (pictured) as of yesterday 5/24/24. i've never had gel last this short. i'm a little disappointed that i paid $70 for this, $80 w tip. i can get cheaper service elsewhere. i won't be coming here the next time i visit. one star added because i called 10 min after my appointment time and said that i would be late. i didn't have a ride and had to run to the salon. read more

Just got my nails done for the first time in forever and I'm so glad I went here. I've gotten pedicures from this place before and they always do a good job, so I took a gamble and got a builder gel set. They turned out so beautifully and everyone there was very nice. I was able to make a same-day appointment online for 2pm with Linda which was so convenient. I arrived 5 minutes early and it took about 15 minutes to be seated which wasn't too bad. I already had my nails done in neon pink and they had the perfect gel color to match it with my toes. My technician was very diligent with the previous gel removal and gentle on cuticle cutting. I had not done a pedicure in 2 months so the deluxe pedicure with the salt scrub, moisturizing leg wrap, and hot towel leg wrap was well needed. Getting a pedicure is one of my favorite things to do so finding a great place can be a challenge sometimes. I really love it here and their variety of pedicures/add-ons. The staff is usually pretty quiet, but friendly. I found them to also be very clean which is super important. They have not massage chairs in that are quite comfortable even though I really don't like using the massage function. I would say just about every person that's done my pedicure has taken their time which is something I really enjoy. If you're in a rush, sadly this isn't the place for you. Usually my pedicures are an hour MINIMUM. Something I noticed after coming here for a while is they now charge for white (or similar) polish. I thought this was a little bizarre but after thinking more about it, I guess I understand why. It's popular and a hard color to perfect, but I've never been charged more for a color. Meh. I was actually looking for a different nail salon in the same building but I am very satisfied with the pedicure and manicure I received here. The staff is very quiet which might be a little off-putting to extroverts but as I am an introvert it didn't bother me at all! I like that the pedicures are done in a separate room from the manicures and the whole salon was clean. I had the gel polish removed from my fingernails and my own polish from home applied. I've been here several times for my pedicures when my normal place is booked. This is definitely a great place for me to use as an alternative. One thing that keeps me coming here is that they use environmental friendly nail polish. Zoya and Morgan Taylor nail colors are so much more vibrant and healthy for your nails versus other brands. I usually opt for the Deluxe pedi which is $45. It's not cheap but it's worth spending the extra money. Love the hot towel treatment, the frozen aloe leaves that are massaged into your skin and of course the parrafin treatment. They offer other nail services but I have yet to try those options out. The salon is always clean and relaxing. One thing that I enjoy most is that the pedicure chairs are separate from the manicure area. You're in your own section with nice music. They do accept appointments but most of the business appears to be walk ins. Parking can be a little tricky because of the location so you may have to walk a little bit. read more

It's been hard lately to find a place that does good work with gel as I like a more natural look but I think I found one. I made a last minute appointment Sunday and was booked with Sharla. The place is quite small but quaint. They have a lot of color selections. I was seated quickly, which is great. I requested the hot stone massage pedicure and gel manicure. She did a great job on my nails. My only tip is to work on the massage aspect with the hot stone technique and to check the hot towels before placing on client. Because of this, I would recommend just getting a regular pedicure as I didn't think the massage was worth the money spent. To the owner, I would recommend more staff before Valentine's Day as people were turned away who tried to walk in. Appointments only is not good for business. :) read more

First, the salon is very clean and everyone was very nice and pleasant-- not an issue at all. However, if you cannot accomodate a walk-in, then just decline the service. I requested a Deluxe pedi (plus gel polish) with some acrylic on my big toes... I speculate the young lady (maybe a freshman in college) who did my pedi was not licensed/experienced/qualified because the work spoke for itself. Spa water was cold and it took over an hour. She didn't properly clean up my toe cuticles and she damaged the acrylic work from another tech so now it is fractured... I decided not to wait for another tech no do my gel polish. My toes looked better before I went in... I usually just do my own pedis because of so much disappointment, really wanted to take a break from it-- but no, just confirms business isn't like it used to be. Booking my appointment through their Facebook page was easy and I got a reminder text the day before. They requested coming 10 minutes early, which I did, and they were ready for me. First thing they asked me to do was wash my hands, which I'm obviously okay with, and kind of hope places do going forward. I started with the Delight Pedicure with aloe and it was awesome!
