I came here for a manicure before a vacation a couple of a weeks ago and had a service with Amy. It has been a couple of weeks now and its still looking so fresh! This was my first time here and I got an appointment but they ran a little late. I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. When I got to meet Amy, she explained the options they had and then compared that to what I wanted, which was ultimately longer lasting shine/polish on my natural nails. She suggested a newer type of gel, Builder Gel and that's what I got. I never had luck with regular gel polish since it always lifts. The nail salon looks clean to me but some of the waiting chairs could be updated since there was some peeling to it. There was TV but no noise and relatively quiet ish the time i was there. Back to the service, Amy was fantastic! She was thorough and my nails still looks great. I am already planning to see if i can extend by refilling the builder gel since she recommended it last time. (Although the colors right now are a bit limited to neutrals, i think). All in, the service it self was $60. read more

This experience occurred over seven years ago, when I was much younger, but I still remember how disappointed I was with the service. It was my first visit, and I experienced a significant amount of waiting both before and during the appointment. There was also confusion surrounding the pricing, and I was charged for additional services that had not been clearly explained to me beforehand. The main reason I originally left a one-star review was the quality of the finished nails. Within less than 24 hours, three nails had broken, and several others were already smudged. At the time, I was extremely upset because I had spent both time and money on a service that did not even last one full day. Looking back now, I probably would have worded my original review less emotionally, but the concerns themselves were valid. The communication about pricing should have been clearer, and professionally done nails should not have broken or smudged so quickly. According to the overall five of the place, it just seemed your stereotypical expectation of a nice nail salon. Because this visit happened many years ago, I cannot speak to the salon's current staff, service, or quality. However, based on the experience I had at that time, I did not feel the service was worth the cost and would not have returned. read more

Super cute salon in the plaza next to Bahama Breeze! I decided to stop in for a quick pedicure and the lady pressured me for the hot stone , but I opted not. I chose the deluxe and we went to the chair. She was friendly at first and she started doing the pedicure. I had to remind her twice that I wanted them short and she massaged pretty hard. She did lighten up after I asked her and she said most people like hard massages. Anyhow, I noticed some bumpy spots on the polish that needed smoothing and she just added another coat. I didn't get the scrub, so I thought extra massage would take place, but it didn't. I also didn't like the recycled toe separators and slippers. These are for one time use only and I never say anything because I'm always afraid. I'll still be on the search for a great spot, but it's cute inside, try it out for yourself. They don't offer you anything to drink either. The one tech greeting everyone was very nice and thanked me for coming in. I appreciated that. read more

Nail salon located on Alafaya and near East Colonial , was welcoming, bright and had plenty of stations and technicians. Went in for a gel pedicure and S&S nails. I was pressed for time but the techs did a fantastic job while getting me out of there in a timely fashion. When it came time to paint my nails they took their time to make sure I was pleased with my color. The cost for the gel pedicure and S&S nails was $88 which I thought was very reasonable. I returned for pedicures only. The first time I was on the fence. I go because it's conveniently close to my house. I won't return. The lady that did my toes was nice, but did not know how to do a pedicure. It was as if the just gave a crash course on what to do and she was just winging it. She didn't clean my cuticles away at all. She seemed to use the tool just bc she knew she had to. It was quite frustrating because I asked why she hadn't done much. My friend and I just had pedicures with Tony & Lisa. They were the best pedicures that we have ever had. The massages were heavenly, and my toe nails have never looked better with the gel. Will never go there again! My gel nails were growing out, and I just wanted them removed, not replaced or filled in. The lady was clearly not happy that she didn't get a big sale, kept asking about a pedicure, then, and I kept saying, I really just want to have them removed. She used some sort of grinder that hurt! She told me to keep still while she's hurting me! This was in February and my nails are still not healthy. I've used strong as nails, cuticle oil, keratin treatment, taking gummies for nails, etc, and the nail bed is receeding in a couple of my nails. Never again! read more

This has to be the worst pedicure experience I had ever encountered. I decided to give this place a try because it was close to my house and the outside sign looked pretty modern. I asked for the signature rose gold pedicure, which was the priciest pedi on the menu, along with gel polish. The pedicure lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. During that hour and 15 minutes, I had to endure those ladies chatting loudly in Vietnamese. They gossiped nonstop about everyone including me!! The one lady (on the right in the picture) said thay my hair looks like a lion, not knowing that I can understand Vietnamese fluently. I almost want to walk out as soon as this incident occurred but I held my cool instead. As you can see in my receipt, my bill wasn't cheap. For them to blabber mouth and chat with each other in Vietnamese nonstop is totally unacceptable in today's salon market. Worst yet, it was the OWNER of the salon and worked on me and allowed all this unprofessionalism happen. I should have known that was an old school salon with the older generation because were not dressed in uniforms. New salons don't act like this to their clients; they respect their clients. Got my nails done almost a week ago and they still look great. I received a mani pedi and the pedi i chose was the option with the pedicure kit they have displayed on the counter. The entire service was great. There were some minimal touch ups to be done that i noticed, but overall i left with a positive experience and my polish hasn't chipped one bit. read more

I recently visited this salon after a recommendation from a friend who is a loyal customer. I was offered a soda & when it was handed to me there was a skeleton of a small dead roach. As I was getting my nails done after my pedicure There were several roaches big & small crawling at my feet on SEVERAL occasions. I notified the nail tech who began to stomp & kill the ones that didn't scatter. I am allergic to roaches so I was not able to enjoy my service because I was too paranoid they would crawl on my feet & up my legs. Sad to say I WILL NOT be returning. read more

If i could give zero stars i would. It seems like they couldn't do any designs at ALL. Additionally i only came for a pedicure fill in on toes and a fill in on acrylics. It seems like every design i wanted led to them wanting to remove the sets i already had to charge more. I didnt even get the fill in for my toes she just filed it down. I am disgusted the shape i got was crazy its literally uneven. I used to LOVE this place now i regret coming here. And guess what? All for $123 and she was rushing the ENTIRE time. I have been going to Posh for manicures and pedicures for almost a year now. It's honestly one of the best, if not the best, place to get your nails done in the Waterford Lakes/UCF/East Orlando area. The salon itself is so beautiful. It's always very clean. There are plenty of nail stations and LOTS of pedicure chairs. The staff is always so friendly and work hard to get you in a chair for your services. They offer refreshments as well which makes for an awesome experience. I have had different techs almost every time and I can honestly say that they all do high quality work. They communicate very well with clients to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. I personally like my nails the same way, shape, and similar color every time, and they always make sure it's right. They also have a lot of colors to choose from as well from regular to gel to my personal fav - SNS! I also bring my boyfriend here from time to time as he loves getting pedicures. Went in here on a Saturday night and was immediately taken in. Front desk person was extremely friendly and very helpful. I got a full set and a pedicure from Tracy and I love it! She was very careful and precise while doing my nails even with distractions as is expected with a nail salon. As for sanitation, I was extremely satisfied. It's unfortunate because this place was clean and everyone was friendly but I went in for an sns and the work was beautiful and quick but by one week the nails began popping off like press on nails. I got my nails done on 2/5 and one cracked by the 9th but I figured that's on me but the 12th 4 were cracked on one popped off completely as a whole on the 13th another one popped off while waiting in line at the Apple store (how embarrassing security hands me my nail) I'm a pediatric nurse and can't be looking nails like that. so I popped the rest off. They should not be able to be removed as a whole while waiting in line. Then I realized she never dremmeled or prepped my nail prior. I have had these for years and they would have to be removed with acetone. I paid $40 and could have gotten press one nails for cheaper at Walmart or Etsy. read more

THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER!!!!! I had the worst experience at this "salon". I literally left speechless and in shock. I'm disgusted how they treated me!!!! I walk in and a lady yelled "what do you want?" There was literally two people doing their nails and that's it. So a lady proceeded to get up and was so rude to me like, again what do you want? I had called earlier to make an appointment for manicure and pedicure. She removed my gel with the little machine and kept burning me, look me straight in the eye and say, "oops." After that I went to do my pedicure and she didn't even sanitize the tools, and she had them in this plastic bin that did not look clean at all! I told her to sanitize it, and she did. She cut and filed my nails to where it almost bled, didn't seem like she knew what she was doing at all. She barely wanted to even finish this so called pedicure. As she started to paint them, they looked so sloppy and messed up! I told her first to please wipe it and repaint it, and it's as if she would do it worse! I was so shocked! I ended up telling her to please wipe it and I didn't want any color anymore!! It was so ridiculous! I got up to pay, and I thought maybe they would be nice and see what a horrible job she did, my nails literally were just cut with some lotion and that's what they call a pedicure! The guy in the front was the absolute WORST, he charged me $10 to remove my gel nail polish, and $20 for the crappiest pedicure. After explaining to him what happened, he started yelling at me and speaking in his native language very loudly. I told him it's not nice that they are charging me a full amount almost for a full mani pedi, and he kept yelling and not trying to resolve any issue. I paid and didn't wanna make a scene. This is the last time I will ever step foot into this unclean, unsanitary, horrible service place!!!! This place is a joke!! And the customer service is like nothing I've ever seen before! With the higher price, and worse quality, I would only go here in a bind again. First of all, this is the only salon I found within a 15 mile radius of my house that is open early on a Sunday morning. When I got there, they were open even before their 10 AM listed time online. As a pregnant lady, this is the place to BE. First of all, no harsh chemical smell whatsoever. The salon is beautifully appointed with jazz music playing. Second, pedicure (25$) was an absolutely phenomenal experience and I decided to add a 30 min leg and foot massage for only 30ish dollars and wow. Not only did they stay open while i was there (i arrived shortly before closing), they served frozen margaritas! Let just say the technician worked a miracle. So I came in today to get a gel manicure. With tip, this gets expensive. So with the expensive price you expect to have nails that look professionally done. I feel as if I could've painted my nails better. Not only that but my cuticle was cut four or five times to the point of bleeding and then sprayed with alcohol so it stung my nail beds. Horrible experience I'm mad I even paid for the service. Walk in no one else there no one at the front to greet and the people that worked there didn't even get up to greet just yelled from afar "what do you want today". Told me to sit then asked me to get up and sit somewhere else. The girl sandy that did my nails spent some time chatting in mandarin to another employee while I sat in the chair in front of her waiting. I had one nail that had recently broke off and was shorter than the rest and I actually had to ask her to trim them all the same size, as if I just wanted one short nail. When everything was done I couldn't believe my eyes I had to actually ask for my nails to be fixed because there was nail polish all up in my cuticle that was left a mess. My thumb nail is completely crooked and it's only been 4 days and already have chips in the gel polish. Bellow was my review going there twice. After the 3rd time I decided not anymore. I like to spoil my daughter and take her with a friend for a manicure every once in a while, so last time I went, she wanted to do acrylic, the menu says Manicure and under Manicure it's says acrylic $35, so I asked for the kids how much you will charge? (Hoping I'll get a small discounts since they are kids) instead he quoted me 45$ I said but it says $35, I don't know what he said and he said ok $35 (with an unhappy attitude) so the girls sat to get acrylic. My daughter's nails are all clean and no cuticle cleaning needed, but the polish was not neatly done and her friend needed her cuticle cleaned and trimmed so the technician applied the acrylic and didn't bother to clean her cuticles, when I asked her cuticles cleaned, he told me "acrylic service isn't manicure and we don't clean cuticles" and the menu says manicure and under manicure is acrylic, so they wanted to charge me more than the menu and when they agreed to make me pay the menu price they didn't do a good job, I hate to argue about the price, but why do I have to argue about a price you advertised for? Very disappointed. I asked the gentleman to be careful since I always have people nicking my cuticles filing my skin and burning me with the e-file. He was apologetic but after the first times I should've just said don't continue and cut my loses. That's on me. The color application was shoddy and acrylic was still on my fingers after trying to scrub it off. No assistance or help was offered to remove it.
