Visited the store during my recent visit to Puerto Rico and found they had beautiful artwork. The salesperson was very helpful and told me that if I liked something, they would ship it to my home in California for free. I found a beautiful painting that I really liked and decided to order it and have shipped. They said it would take around 2 weeks and that they would email me when it was ready to ship. 2 wks. came and went and no email. By the 3rd week I emailed them-no response, I called and the gentleman that answered said he would look into it but never got a return call. Luckily, my painting just arrived-never got an email or phone call. 5 stars for the great customer service from the young lady in the shop and beautiful artwork. -2 stars for their horrible communication and lack of concern for the customer after they've gotten your money.

Paul and Milagros have real authentic Puerto Rican art from local artists. Paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics... You name it. Stop by, even if you are not buying today. Paul will tell you about your favorite pieces and the artists who created them. On the practical side, they package and ship to the States. No hassle, only smiles.

I have to say, if I was going around giving awards to places in Puerto Rico, this business gets the most pleasant owner and innovative product award! The gentleman who owns this place is incredible, I just loved him! Extremely kind, talks to you, not just to sell you something, but to have a conversation with you, talks about the materials of the art... real cool bioluminescent room lol, beautiful art, just beautiful! They ship too! I honestly would recommend this place as a must in Puerto Rico. You want to take with you something special from the beautiful island? Maybe a special gift for someone you care about? Go to this place! I walked in with my pooch, as I go everywhere with him and this man was super sweet. It's a hit and miss in Puerto Rico... don't get me started on that, but the businesses that welcome you and are kind to your companion are the ones that score the best points. This place is the whole enchilada! Must visit place in Puerto Rico. Family owner and they are 95% local products made with very interesting materials. The other 5% are interesting things from other places in the world, but they tell you exactly. You will be delighted and so will anyone who sees your special souvenir at home. Trust me when I say, this place is a gem! Honest people who love the island and are caring about every single person who walks through their doors.

This Puerto Rican is simply artistic!

I literally spent the entire morning in the store and walked out 2- hours later with over $600 of paintings in my hands. Rosa and a gentleman assisted me in packaging the paintings so they wont get damaged in my carry-on luggage. Rosa is a sweet heart and I look forward in visiting them during my next trip.

Rosa was very helpful in my purchase. Her service was great, very attentive, the best helper we've had in the island.

They have beautiful art and crafts from local artisans - from jewelry to paintings to photographs to ceramic and more. Everything is so unique and special; nothing mass produced. There were several pieces I wanted to buy, but I settled on a small painting and a large framed photo. The only problem is the photo in the frame was too big to take on the plane back home. The store could not take the photograph out of the professional framing, but they took my information and reached out to the artist to see if she could bring in a copy of the photograph without a frame. They called me back a couple of weeks later, the artist had brought in the photo and they were happy to ship to me. I have never had such wonderful service from a store where they went out of their way to make a customer happy. 10/10 definitely would recommend for unique finds, great customer service, and to support local artists.

Easy. Pop into any gift shop, grab some clam shells with googly eyes, a velour bag of polished rocks, and a novelty t-shirt that informs people that the wearer received nothing from your visit but its lousy self. Look at the labels on those items. Where were they made? I'll bet they were made in China, just like the other 92% of stuff you own. Those clam shells? They're the same ones you'll find at gift shops from Puerto Rico to Florida to Maine. I absolutely sh*t you not, on our trip to PR, I found some resin elephant statues emblazened with "Puerto Rico" banner stickers glued to the bases. Seriously. Elephants. Everyone knows Puerto Rico has been elephant free ever since the Great Elephant War of '72. So stupid. This shop (and its sister) features items made in PR by PR folks. From postcards to coffee to instruments to ceramics to knit doll clothes to cigars and candy, everything you find here is made locally. It's a bit spendy compared to the crap in the standard souvenir shops, but it's worth a few dollars and/or cents more to help the local economy and to support local artists and farmers. This store is always well-staffed, and although some of the attention they pay you is clearly because they want to make sure you're not filling your pockets with merchandise. That said, they are extremely knowledgeable about their products and helpful. Keep Chinese-made souvenirs for your next trip to China. When you're in PR, stop here for quality and authenticity. And be sure to ask them about elephant statues.

Prices are a bit more than I would like to pay for some of the items (probably due to the touristic location), but some items, especially the smaller jewelry pieces, are more reasonable. Definitely recommend their jewelry for its uniqueness and fashion, but be careful when you are wearing the beaded pieces because they can easily break. When I was trying to check out, the woman wouldn't move the machine that accepts cards, so I had to reach around the register to try to tap my phone. It wasn't working (likely because the angle was wrong). I expected her to move it or help me but, instead, she took a sip of her tea, and just looked at me. I said "I don't know what to do," and she said "I don't either. It's not my problem. ApplePay has been working all day." Then went back to her tea. It was like something out of a movie! I told another staff member, but no help. I finally went back, with my husband's credit card, and she made a snide remark to my husband about me! It was such a surreal experience. Why work in a shop to be a jerk to people?
