FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

If you're on Calle San Francisco and the Coach store is to your right, keep walking till you see a yellow chemex sign on your left - that is the entrance to the coffee shop. The only menu I was able to peruse was that on their iPad which was annoying because I felt like I was holding up the line. I ended up ordering a small iced latte. I initially ordered it to enjoy in their alley, so I was told I can pay when I leave. I was there mid September and as much as I wanted to enjoy sipping my latte in the alley, it was super hot and stuffy. They could use some fans. Plus, it was taking forever to have the latte brought to me. As such, I went to the front to let the staff know I'll take it to go only to find him giggling with some friends. I guess that's why it took forever for me to get my drink. The latte itself wasn't bad, but considering the cost and the useless wait time, I would've gladly passed on this coffee shop.

It was a nice non-artificial tasting flavor. It had the right amount of sweetness. So, I personally really enjoyed it! You can escape inside to find cool air inside and a pretty wall art while you wait inside. You can also find small coffee bags that have roast dates on it to buy!
