    Banana bread and Zucchini bread

We're always so happy to see John at the Sunday Farmer's Market in Lakewood Ranch. We only visit the market for his banana bread. Zucchini bread is fantastic as well. Thank you!

This food truck was one of the only real-looking food trucks at the Florida State Fair this year…read more I'm not sure exactly how the food truck economy works when it comes to fairs, but this was the only one we ate at that had the little review request QR code on it, so here I am. People were very nice. The food was also incredible. We got the Sesame Sweet Heat Chik'n Sandwich (Fried Oyster Mushroom w homemade Sesame Sriracha sauce on Toasted bun | Spicy Pickles | Sriracha mayo | Sesame ginger Cabbage slaw). This darn sandwich was better than most of the real spicy chicken sandwiches I've had in my lifetime. Extremely crispy mushrooms with a very flavorful, spicy sauce, excellent pickles, and a slaw that tied it all together. We finished it all with a giant watermelon juice. They blended a whole watermelon, and then served it back to us with a big straw. This thing had so much tasty juice in it, we were drinking it for like the next hour. Very cool stuff. Overall, big fan of this place. I love what the vegan community is doing with food nowadays. I'd definitely come back if I ever see this place again.

The food took a while to come out, but that's probably because it was made fresh, and you could tell it was high quality. The food from this truck was actually much better than all the other offerings at the Fair. Not very surprising. Lol. Cons: No cons. Great truck. Tips: The Sesame Sweet Heat Chik'n Sandwich was so so good. Better than actual chicken sandwiches I've had before.

The bang bang chicken at Shiso Crispy didn't just steal my attention. It robbed me, took my wallet,…read moreand I'd gladly help it escape. First off, the crunch is so loud it could qualify as a sound effect in an action movie. I took one bite and half expected someone to yell "CUT!" The chicken itself is juicy, but let's be honest it's really just a vehicle for that bang bang sauce, which tastes like sweet, spicy, and "text your ex you've changed" all rolled into one. I told myself I'd share. That was a lie. A bold faced, shameless lie. The plate hit the table and suddenly I turned into a territorial raccoon guarding its last meal. By the end, my fingers were sticky, my dignity was gone, and I was seriously considering ordering a second round like I hadn't just embarrassed myself in public.

This is a new dish, if you can even call it one. Literally two slices of tuna, no side of sauce which it's supposed to have, a bunch of old cabbage for filling (even though the new container is half the size as it is), and what could be nothing else but soggy potato chips (yes, literally they put in chips, I don't even know how else to put it except it literally had chips in it). Pathetic. Completely pathetic.
