Vanilla ice cream with smashed Oreos
    Bridget B.

My boyfriend and I went by The Creamy Wheels about 20 minutes before they closed. They were preparing for close and putting away signage, etc. They welcomed us and asked if it was our first time getting rolled ice cream. It was. My boyfriend is pretty basic when it comes to ice cream flavors, so we chose vanilla ice cream with smashed Oreos. The owner was so cool about demonstrating the process and did not cut any corners just because they were about to close. The customer service was 2nd to none and the ice cream was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

First off, the crunch is so loud it could qualify as a sound effect in an action movie. I took one bite and half expected someone to yell "CUT!" The chicken itself is juicy, but let's be honest it's really just a vehicle for that bang bang sauce, which tastes like sweet, spicy, and "text your ex you've changed" all rolled into one. I told myself I'd share. That was a lie. A bold faced, shameless lie. The plate hit the table and suddenly I turned into a territorial raccoon guarding its last meal. By the end, my fingers were sticky, my dignity was gone, and I was seriously considering ordering a second round like I hadn't just embarrassed myself in public.

This is a new dish, if you can even call it one. Literally two slices of tuna, no side of sauce which it's supposed to have, a bunch of old cabbage for filling (even though the new container is half the size as it is), and what could be nothing else but soggy potato chips (yes, literally they put in chips, I don't even know how else to put it except it literally had chips in it). Pathetic. Completely pathetic.

Lebanese food truck in South Tampa!…read more I love Lebanese food, and so I had to check out Beirut Bites when I heard about it. It's on the corner of Henderson and Swann, lots of parking, and a small covered area if you want to eat there. I was the only person there for a Wednesday lunch. Hot food was made to order, so don't expect "fast" food. I ordered a kefta sandwich and an order of dolma. My food took about 15-20 minutes to prepare. I was given the choice of mayo or tahini for the sandwich (I chose tahini, obviously!). The owner does not speak English well, but he is very friendly. The food was good! Probably on par with Petra, but if you don't want a sit down meal (or don't want to deal with the parking situation at Petra), Beirut Bites is a good alternative.

Owner/chef, Rafe was so kind and helpful in deciding what to eat. This was sooo flavorful and fresh tasting. I am so happy it's close to me because I will be returning happily! The portion is very generous and the sandwiches are so saucey and full of meat. The creamy sauce in both sandwiches reminded me of the 6 sauce in the French Taco from Cybel. The chicken msahab had so much chicken and french fries, pickles, and was perfectly encased in a fresh and soft french bread. My friend got a beef sandwich which is a better way of satisfying a hamburger craving. The fried beef balls (kibbeh) were also incredible with the garlic and tahini sauces. Just delicious.
