Take aim and give it your best throw!

I came here with a group of work colleagues on a Saturday night and the place was busy. Make sure to call ahead or reserve a time online if you're planning to come on a weekend. There's a lively atmosphere and the staff make it a fun place by teaching you different games to play while throwing the axes. There's a bar inside for those of age. It's a bit pricey but it's a one-of-a-kind experience that is worth trying.

Had an awesome time! Great service and cool vibe. They're adding a bar soon, too. Brandon, the axe-pert was so funny and entertaining! He's a great teacher as well.

This was an awesome experience! Yeah, it may be a little on the pricy side but don't let that stop you from coming because it's well worth it. Plus there are nights of the week with specials if you're on a tight budget. They didn't have a full bar but they had a good selection of canned drinks and wine. Our axe-pert (Devin) was really awesome and funny but knowledgeable about keeping us safe. I definitely recommend this for a fun night out that's different from your typical bar.

Went here for an event for our parents weekend. Everyone had such a great time, especially the parents. Such great employees and came over to help me so many times and actually somehow made me able to hit a bullseye. Really great people here, highly recommend.

Excellent fun with supervised fun professional axe throwers - great slick wooden venue a must see. With bar and room for private bookings. Suzanne and Alisha have done a really amazing job on this new trending venture. I wish I could upload videos.

I was in town recently for a friend's birthday and she rented out The Wooly for her party. The space is really neat and can be divided up easily like my friend did. The front leads into a reception area, and she used a chunk of it to get a photo booth for the night. Go a little further and there's a small bar on the left, some seating on the back wall, and on the right an entire dance floor (or space to set up seating) and slightly raised stage. She hired a DJ and had some catered hors d'oeuvres on tables between the bar and dance floor. The folks at the bar were nice and it wasn't stupidly expensive if you wanted to get a mixed drink. The venue had some really nice textures and lighting (separate from my friend's over the top decor) that made it feel more upscale in a college town. I have no idea what it cost her or how easy it was to coordinate with the venue, but as a guest I had a great time! The only downside is you'll likely have to circle around a couple times for street parking if you don't want to pay for the garages nearby.

It was a bit busy due to a softball team staying as well, but a friendly agent was able to help me. There was a minor hiccup with the reservation due to third party booking, but it was resolved and I was able to get a room at the top floor (709). Even though my dad had Hilton honors, we couldn't get points or benefits due to booking through third party. I was still given two bottles of water though, which was a nice gesture. The room was spacious for a single person and comfortable with a king bed. The bed was a bit firm, but still very comfortable with 4 nice pillows, and a thick blanket. The TV was pretty large and had a good amount of channels. The office area had a nice desk and there were ample amount of plugs near the desk and bed to charge your phone. The AC control was a touch screen, and luckily I was able to turn it down to 72f and have a comfortable temp for my room. I didn't recall seeing a clock, fridge, or microwave. However, there was a closet, iron, and safe as well. The in room coffee was very good and enjoyable. The room lit up nicely at night. There wasn't much of a view from the window. The bathroom was clean and also spacious, but looked a bit old and tired. The door was a bit hard to close. The shower had excellent pressure and temperature, and the Crabtree bath amenities were fine. I did take the small soap home with me. Towels were nothing special, but did it's job. The lobby looked a bit sophisticated, but that's because it's near the university. The convention area can be a bit noisy, but it's also spacious. The pool is pretty large and has a small outdoor seating area too. I used the gym a bit to practice my riding using the exercise ball. It had your typical equipment and was spacious too. The elevators were pretty old as the ding, but still works nicely. The main restaurant, Shula's is quite expensive. So I didn't eat there. However, I did have a drink and breakfast at the No Name Lounge. The omelette was fluffy and wonderful for 14 bucks, and the old fashioned was a steal for 8 during happy hour. I also tried an egg and turkey sausage sandwich for 5 dollars at the cafe, and it tasted slightly better then the frozen breakfast ones you get at the market. The staff is friendly, but can get a bit tired sometimes. I really enjoyed Zach's and his colleagues from the front desk. They also went above and beyond to extend my checkout by an hour when I requested it. I also loved the service from the staff at the No Name Lounge. Other staff while still friendly and helpful, seemed a bit burned it or tired. I don't fault them or the hotel as they can get so many guests to handle, and they were still nice and helpful as they can. Parking is best of all free and quite ample, and no extra hotel fees either. For 110 per night after discounts and taxes were a very good rate for this hotel, even though I couldn't get benefits. The hotel is nothing fancy and in the older side, but still clean and comfortable. It's still a Hilton and in great quality. It's a great hotel for college ceremonies and other conventions. Even though I am still loyal to Marriott chains, I will still consider in staying at the Hilton again if I get another great deal. Overall: A-

I decided to give a chance to this Hilton hotel. It looks to be a nice place and very centric. Upon arrival around 5:30pm on April 10, 2026 I was received with the longest line for checking in I ever saw in my life and with the news that my room was not ready yet. The customer service clerk apologize many times, but when I asked what she thinks would be a solution for this, nothing came from her mouth. I even asked to be moved to a double bed if that was going to accelerate the process of quickly unpack in a room. After all, we were passed the check in hour, and I believe they would not have any problems leaving us in the lobby for a couple of hours until a room shows up. Her reply was that they were booked solid. Then, mine was that I would accept any room available and that the hotel should compensate for downgrading to a lesser room. The clerk promptly told us to wait for the other clerk and quickly went to serve the person behind us, which by the way also had the same problem. The new lady clerk found us the king size room that we originally booked in less than 30 seconds. Now, once inside the room, the horror begins. The room was very old and tired. It looks like it did not had a renovation in at least 25 years. Bathroom tiles were moldy and the handle for cold water in the sink was not working. Questionable spots near the bed and where the bed skirt is supposed to be were seen. I quickly called the front desk and let them now about it. They told me a person will go quickly to the room. Well, It was about dinner time and we left the room and went to the downstairs restaurant. Very nice and delicious by the way. After dinner we went to the room and noticed that nobody came to fix the problem. Next morning went down to the front desk and spoke to the customer service clerk which she apologize and told me that she will tell the management about it and that some points can be included for the inconvenience. Well, I asked if indeed the problem is going to be solved with points or I can really wash my hands and face, and brush my teeth with cold water from the sink not the filthy shower. She reply that someone will take a look at it. The day went by and around 5pm we were back to the hotel. Nobody fixed the sink. Had to call and talk for a 3rd time about the problem. A gentleman came to our door 30 minutes later and fix the problem in only 10 minutes. It took 24 hours and three conversations at the front desk to solve this problem. I truly believe management should be taking care of their customers better. It was a waste of time and money staying in this hotel. Management should give a refresh to their rooms a make them clean and more suitable. The way they took care of the problems was just ridiculous and disrespectful. I believe Hilton should not even apologize at this time. There was a time for that and to make amends. That time was when I was staying at their place. Shame on you for this terrible experience. Shame on me if I repeat it.

The space was clean and organized, and I appreciated that they had everything ready to go when I arrived. They give you protective gear (which you definitely need!) and you "gear up" before walking in by wearing a mesh suit, hair net and cover your shoes too but you can take them off and just slide on their "socks" they give you . Once you're in there, it's just a blast--literally throwing paint on the canvas, the walls, and maybe a little on yourself too. It's messy in the best way, and weirdly therapeutic. You can also use their Alexa to play music of your choice and make it a fun vibe and have your own mini party. I really liked that you get to take home your canvas afterward, it's such a cool keepsake. You wait 24 hours to come back and once it is fully dry you can take it home. It's not something I'd do all the time, but for a creative, out-of-the-box experience, it's totally worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for something playful and a little different to do in Gainesville. I love that they have so many options such as acrylic projects, string projects, painted glasses and other DYI experiences. You can set an appointment and come in at your reserved a lot. I'll 100% be coming back and already want to try one of their other DIY experiences!
