I took the suggested old fashioned for the drink. I was stunned that was only 8 dollars. It's was a strong drink and got me happy immediately. I felt the buzz immediately and really helped made my late afternoon. My bartender was friendly, and made a great drink for me. The atmosphere is just a nice hotel bar, and nothing fancier. There were a couple TVs, and the immature me had to watch SpongeBob SquarePants. It's located at the Hilton, and parking is free. For a strong old fashioned costing 8 dollars during happy hour is a steal, especially at a higher end hotel. I'm so glad I'm staying here and took advantage of this deal. This helped me make my evening when I am becoming my own worst critic. Overall: A+

Some names come with expectations built in. Shula is one of them. When you see that name on the…read moredoor, you're not thinking "pretty good." You're thinking dialed in, no shortcuts, done right every time. This one didn't get there. The hotel lounge pulls from Shula's kitchen, so I kept it simple with French onion soup and chicken wings. The soup came out lukewarm with cheese that never quite melted. Flavor was decent, but it felt unfinished, like it got called to the plate a few minutes too early. The wings followed the same pattern. Mediocre across the board. Not hot in temperature, not hot in spice, just kind of there. Nothing was bad enough to send back, but nothing came close to what the name sets you up to expect. And that's really the issue. When the bar is that high, "fine" ends up feeling like a miss. Three stars.

She also gave me directions to the restaurant because it was in a plaza and I wasn't from the area and didn't want to be late. The omakase experience here and the sake tasting was fantastic. Every dish was so precisely made and plated and we got tonwatch it all from the Chef'scounter. We were given explanations for everything we had that night and they made everything gluten-free because two of us that night were gluten-free. The omakase is in the back of the restaurant as well sectioned off from the main restaurant and bar. The space is beautiful and it even has and outdoors seating area with a large (maybe fake) Sakura tree. They made my birthday dinner very special and I appreciated that a lot. The sake tasting was also just as fantastic. The sommolier explained every sake and even let me take a quick photo of the bottle so I would be able to remember it. The Final dish was a gluten-free cheesecake. If I lived in JAX I would come here all the time. I highly recommend it! Everyone was great and all the food was fantastic.

The chef was very detailed and even explained every dish. My wife and I loved it so much, we're already planning our next one! Worth every single penny!

The lady at the front desk is so welcoming and nice, as well as as with the Park being more updated and clean. I know in the past the manager lady was not the friendliest and a lot of tenants used to complain with no resolution, but this has not been the case since I've moved back. They also have a maintenance lady who lives in the park and does repairs, if needed, in no time. I remember the Internet being a problem as well, but not anymore. So far everything has been great and I'm happy I gave them another chance because it's a different park than it was three years ago.

As I was signing in to the park, I was notified of a substantial price change across the entire campground. Roughly 30% or more as I recall. Shortly after that, both cable/satellite tv went out and so did their wifi. Very little has been done to correct either. When I contacted Lori in the office, she stated that nobody was willing to come out to fix it due to the pandemic. That doesn't account for them paying their vendor for cable/sat AND wifi but the end user cannot use. Couple that with the water or electricity being off multiple times per month with no explanation. Don't try calling these events in to the office as they won't be taking your call, nor replying to your voice messages. I have personally requested a copy of my monthly statement for my records but I have never received such after several months. To say the least, I am frustrated with the lack of care and compassion when it comes to customer service and if I can find suitable affordable arrangements near by, I will be leaving like so many others have already done.
