After obtaining job estimates from 3 businesses, we opted to go with The Hauling Crew to demo & haul away our 14' x14' deteriorating redwood gazebo. Richard, the owner, was the first to come to our home and provide an estimate to us. He was very professional, he told us he'd bring a crew of 3 people to do the job, and wasn't at all pushy to be given the job. Richard and his workers arrived on time, completed the job ahead of schedule, and were very careful to demolish the gazebo while taking extra care not to damage our jacuzzi spa in the process. They also cleaned up the area, and took additional items we also wanted to discard without any additional hassles. I would highly recommend The Hauling Crew for any demolition and junk haul away job you might have a need for. Their price was in the neighborhood of the other two estimates, but it's all about how comfortable you feel about a company you ultimately select. Very efficient, next day service, charges explained and agreed to up front. They had a crew of four for more than a truckload and it went quickly. For the volume beyond a truckload they were willing to discount the price. I had items in my garage, in my home and outside to haul away for donation and trash, plus they disconnected and removed my washer and gas dryer. Only two complaints: they did not have the tools to remove a wooden bench which was stored bolted to the wall near the top of the garage and had to be left, and there was water on the floor and slightly on the carpet after the washer removal but maybe that is unavoidable in washer removal. However a big plus for me was their willingness to remove the gas dryer and very few companies I contacted committed to do that. Overall they were reliable, honest, pleasant to work with and did a good job. read more
