Despite the limited selection, there was a good diversity of different types of games including some of my favorites, some I've been wanting to try, and some I had never heard of! One of the coolest features of the shop is the incredible selection of candles and wax melts inspired by tabletop gaming. Although they are especially exciting for gamers, I think anyone who loves scents shouldn't miss this line. They had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion so we decided to buy 8 wax melts and had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 8! So far I've been enjoying the "Temple" scent in my house but can't wait to use the other 7 and hopefully try some more eventually. I can't wait to stop back in to the Crafty Gamer. In comparison, Numiru is always welcoming, quick, and friendly. The front half is sealed cards, board games, collectibles, and some books. Back half is singles, tables for games, and some drinks. While they don't have every product always, the selection they do have is at market price and varied. As we all know, Pokémon is the hot thing to scalp, and I always know that Numiru will have my back and at least a pack to buy in these trying times. They're only open Thursday-Sunday, but that's fine with me. For the value, friendliness, and lack of that certain something that makes me scared to ask questions in other shops, I'll wait for Numiru.

While I have noticed minor inconsistencies in grading in the past and chose not to make a fuss, my most recent order crossed a line where I felt the need to reach out. One of the cards ordered was advertised as "Near Mint," but I received a card with physical damage, including deep pen indentations When I contacted customer service about the misgraded item, the only resolution offered was a $2.00 credit or free shipping on my next order. This offer is completely inadequate--it neither compensates for the significant drop in value nor provides the expected remedy of a replacement card in correct condition as per their website's return policy. Coolstuffinc needs to honor its grading standards and provide fair resolutions to long-term customers who receive damaged goods. Buyers beware: "Near Mint" may mean "Damaged." Given their quality control and refusal to make it right, I strongly recommend finding another card store for your purchases.

There is a cute little wheel that kids can spin every single time they come on for a prize. My ten year old spun a free Pokémon model kit and was over the moon about it!!!! The service was incredible by people passionate about those products. The value was also great as I cross checked with Amazon and the prizes were comparable. They also have snacks and drinks that are not super expensive. $1 for a can of coke seems reasonable. We will be coming back to get another Warhammer set as soon as we build our new tank!
