Lisa did my service and she was really knowledgeable about hair and gave me good advice on how to get my hair healthy again. I also had the chance to meet the owner who was really sweet and has so much in store for the future of her shop! The service itself was so relaxing, you lay in this spaceship looking bed that gives your body a massage while the tech works on your head! I got the hair and face treatment. I kid you not, it is now the next day and my face has never felt softer and smoother. After your wash and facial, they blow dry your hair while giving you a soothing glass of herbal tea and a delicious mini scone! I had such an amazing time, I signed up for a membership on the spot! As a mom to young kids, I've learned that "me time" is sooooo important for mental and physical health, and The Head Ritual is the perfect place to spend that time!! My scalp treatment went beyond my expectations. I was paired with Theresa who was so friendly and informative! She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. We started with the scalp analysis and I was surprised how rough it looked! Theresa asked me various questions and it turns out I've been using the type of shampoo that is making it worse. Once she explained it, everything was lining up and made sense. The service its self was amazing, so relaxing! I was in the communal room where they had beds that massage you your body, warm blankets, and weighted blankets on top of that. After the service Theresa dried my hair and imaged my scalp again and the difference was great! I'll have to continue restoring the health of my scalp on my owl but this gave it a giant leap towards a healthy scalp. I'd definitely recommend and be going back! read more

I've been wanting to try a head spa service for a while because I love scalp massages, and I'm glad I found this spot. The environment was calm, relaxing and inviting. Cynthia (the founder) and Teresa (who provided my head spa service) were so friendly and informative. Teresa was great and thoughtful throughout my service. The experience went beyond the scalp, as I was pleasantly surprised to find. The bed was a massage bed, plus I was given a weighted blanket and hot and cold eye masks. There was also aroma therapy and calming music. The music was a bit loud but I can see that it might otherwise hard to hear with all the water spraying noise. My service ended with a blowout and style plus I was offered tea and a cookie. Overall, something nice for all the senses. I will definitely book again! read more

I found the head ritual on Yelp and decided to take my grandmother and my mother. We got there and parked across the street. There was road parking. We then walked into a very clean very calm lobby area and were greeted by the front desk, they offered us tea or water and then we all three met with A technician and each of us got a rundown all about our scalp, my technician I believe her name was Hannah was the best. She was very thorough beginning to end. They took us to the back room where the magic happens. I'm not sure how long the wash actually was but it was one of the most relaxing things I've ever experienced. Hannah (I hope I'm getting the name right) was literally the best. We started with a scalp analysis--it was so interesting to see my scalp on the screen while they explained the health of our hair and follicles in detail. After the analysis, we even got to choose a custom scent to be used during our treatment. After putting our things in lockers and changing into light robes, we were taken to the treatment room. I swear I heard "angelic music" when I walked in; the vibe was divine. The "ahhh" moments didn't stop there. You lay in a massage chair that works its magic, and they even provide a weighted blanket that makes you feel so cozy and tucked in while your hair is being treated. I didn't even want to fall asleep because I didn't want to miss the sensory experience! The custom scent I picked smelled amazing, and the transition from the warm eye mask at the start to the cool one at the end was my favorite part. They also used warm stones and scalp tools that were so unique (even if I found out my scalp is super ticklish!). Had the BEST experience at The Head Ritual!!! Truly, the most relaxing, luxurious afternoon and I noticed a HUGE difference in my hair/scalp following it. Immediate itching relief and my hair looked and felt so smooth and silky. Loved seeing the before-and-after on screen too - it really works.
