She graciously gave me a tour of the whole place - which seems very well-equipt, with lots of toys, teaching aids, and a great big play room for physical therapy or just for kiddos to "let off steam." They have photos and bios of the staff on the wall, and Yvonne even read me the bio off her computer of a therapist who had not been placed on the wall yet. She was very patient in trying to get me the exact service and times that I needed. While it didn't end up working out, if the services are as professional as the receptionist was then your child will be in good hands! I definitely recommend checking this place out if your child needs physical, speech, or occupational therapy. They accept private as well as regional center clients.

My daughter worked with two OT therapists before meeting Kiana, but neither were as thorough or as helpful as her. A big thank you also goes to Hannah for being just as amazing when she stepped in to cover. My daughter also worked with another covering therapist Carrie, and she was just as helpful and kind. They have a Nurse Practitioner who happens to be completely indifferent and definitely not someone you would want in charge of your wellbeing. Rude and incompetent come to mind but it's beyond that. Also, this clinic will not help you filing for Workers Comp and furthermore, the Dept of Labor will not accept a medical diagnosis from a nurse practitioner anyway, so going to this place is a complete waste of your time and not in your best interest. The Post Office might take you here BUT as an injured employee you have the right to go see any doctor you wish to see at a clinic of your choice. If you have Kaiser Insurance like many of you do, just go directly to their Urgent Care Center and see a Medical Doctor there and have 'a thorough examination' . If you have PPO insurance, you can practically go anywhere you want to and get reimbursed later. You can also file your own CA1 on Ecomp.com -it's easy and efficient. There is also a place in Torrance called, Renewth Strength Medical Group, where they do all the paperwork for you and have a caring staff and a licensed Medical Doctor available. Getting hurt while on the job is very stressful and you need to be in the best possible hands to make this awful situation as easy as you can, and that involves choosing the right provider.
