I have been fighting acne for years. I would get bad cystic, acne. GONE! Since working with Alena, I rarely feel like I need makeup. The blue peel is an amazing peel. If you're looking for someone to help out with stubborn acne, or just wanna glow I highly recommend going to my girl.

I don't have enough coffee for this review... but I'll try. When I processed my credit card to book an appointment, I immediately received a text declining the appointment because the owner assumed I was a male just by the way I spelled my name (first initial + last name and repeated in the spelling of my email). They may do good work, but their "knee-jerk" response to REJECT someone's booking for no other reason than as a result of PASSING JUDGEMENT on one's GENDER (then after following-up --and still not getting why this is so wrong), is not a [business] idealism or cause that I want to indirectly fund. Dear Owner Alaena C: I am not suggesting you to pry into your customer's gender as an amended part of the general booking process and regardless of what service applies to them. Tact goes far, well-beyond waxing and facials. Instead, educate yourself on "gender inclusion" (seriously, google it), and if you make a mistake--don't just apologize; fix it --so that you do not harm anyone who may identify differently than how you choose to perceive their gender and decline them, simply based-off the spelling of their name. Note: not knowing how to perform male brazilians --this is simply a service not provided *and not to be confused with the overall principle behind my above review. Update: Spouse of owner (see screenshot for verification) seeks me outside of this platform to message and harass me for leaving a two star review. Funny right?

I've never ever been comfortable without makeup on but since being treated at the healing square I finally feel good in my skin! AMAZING. I got the package deal which included a 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. I have had a few massages in my lifetime and wouldn't consider myself very picky (I don't know better lol) but this was my favorite! I can really tell Chris is skilled at what he does. I definitely have more knots and tension than the average person and the whole time I was relaxed and now I'm feeling great! I definitely needed it. As for the facial, it was super thorough and my face is as soft/smooth as a baby's butt. They're both cool and super nice people and it is a great value so do yourself a favor and get yourself an appointment! You'll thank me later. :) I'd love to come back later on this summer!! So glad I found them, this would make a fantastic gift for ANYBODY in your life and I'll be recommending them to people in the area. read more

Just had my first facial with Alaena and it was amazing! She listened to my concerns and suggested what would work best for me. I could seriously go to her every day! My skin has never looked and felt better . I purchased her package deal which saved me so much money and she gave me a list of selected products that I should use at home to keep my skin looking good. I've also been getting her famous Brazilians for about 4 Years now- 15 minutes and I'm in and out and with way less pain than places I've been to in the past! Aleana is just amazing. You cannot get better service. She is kind and knowledgeable and very professional. Her spa room is in a large beautiful building full of other spa rooms independently run. This is the nicest, neatest place I have ever seen related to skin, hair and beauty services. You can see your esthetician and walk right down the hall to your hairstylist! I recently got the hydroderm facial with oxygen treatment from Alaena. My skin felt so fresh, clean, and was glowing after. I Love going here!!! So professional and Alaena is the sweetest aesthetician I have ever experienced. After my facials I could cry on how amazing my skin looks; and I am one with problem skin from acne too major discoloration. He even has specials where you can buy multiple facials and receive one free. Her jelly masks are life-changing and feel so great. I was at my wits end with my teenage daughters acne and Alaena restored my faith in teenage skin! Through Alaena's recommended teen facials and skin regimen, my daughter has not ONE pimple since seeing Alaena on a regular basis. It's truly a miracle to have my daughters skin so flawless again. I have been an Esthetician since 2010. I truly enjoy what I do and I hope that shows with every appointment I work on. Waxing is my speciality, I specialize in Brazilians. I use a special blend hard wax meant for sensitive skin clients. I use a quick and efficient way to get you in and out on your lunch break! My new favorite passion as an Esthetician is making small batches of Tallow cream for your skin care needs. I use the highest quality of ingredients to ensure amazing results. When it comes to facials, there is a "NO FLUFF" kind of style I use ensuring you see transformation from your first service visit, extraction are included in all my facial services. I got a French tip using OPI Funny Bunny, and the results were very poor. The gel polish is uneven and lumpy, the white tips are inconsistent in size, and the overall shape of my nails is sloppy. It honestly looks rushed and unprofessional. My mom also had a disappointing experience. She asked for black nails with a gold design and showed a reference photo. The technician said she could do it, but the final result looked nothing like the picture. During the service, it was clear she wasn't confident with designs, as she kept asking the technician next to her for help. This is really directed to the owners, Nia and Dan, who seem to do great work and are often booked out. Unfortunately, this experience was not a good representation of your business. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend this salon unless you're specifically booking with Nia or Dan.

I had some family members post pictures in social media about Healing Square and it was very inticing. I have anxiety about trying new places out of my comfort zone especially out of town, but I really wanted a facial. I was amazingly welcomed and comforted by Alaena in her home business. Her treatment room was super clean and professional. She guided me through the process and all that she was doing and what products and how they would benefit me. She provided me with a care plan and welcomed questions. She was super open and very professional about her services. I was eager to make my monthly appointments due to her being such an amazing esthetician. Now, shes forever my go to and I share her work all the time and try new products. Her prices are super afforable and her treatment plans are so beneficial. Since starting treatment with Aleana, I get compliments all the time with such a difference in my skin. Alaena is an expert at Brazilians! True MASTER. I had my 2nd visit with her today and she confirmed my initial thought of how great she is at her trade from the 1st time I visited! I had been going to a different place for a while, and Alaena defined what a great Brazilian experience should be like; fast, fast, painless, fast, and thorough! I was in and out within 15 minutes and completely hairless from top to bottom (if you know what I mean). From my previous experiences, I expected to get burns, usual routine after brazilians, (my skin is sensitive and dry) after Alaena I learned that should not happen!!! Alaena's magic wax is miraculous... totally different experience from what I was used to. Alaena and Chris are the best of the best in their fields. I have had a variety of services from both of them. Alaena is the only person I trust with my face, and especially my eyebrows!! She is very sweet and knowledgable and always has an honest recommendation on products to use. Chris is one of the best massage therapists I have ever seen. He has a very versatile style and can accommodate any request! I've also had the dry brushing which was very relaxing and rejuvenating. They are both so friendly and professional and affordable! I've had many facials but there is something special about Alaena's! When I've had facials before the results seemed to disappear after about a week. My skin would go back to looking dry and dull and I'd feel like I wasted my money. After my first hydro facial with Alaena I could still see results after a month! The best way to describe it would be refreshed and glowy. I'm hooked! Can't wait to see how my skin looks after getting them monthly for awhile. Aleana is a master of her craft!!!!! I have been going to her for years now and my skin has never looked so good! I switch up getting the vitamin C peel and microdermabrasion monthly. I also LOVE how quick she is with my Brazilians and also far less painful than other places I have gone in the past. Don't be deceived by her working out of her home, there is a separate entrance to her "spa" area and boy is it legit!! Got a full Brazilian and Belly wax from Alaena and currently 16 weeks pregnant. She made me feel super comfortable and I was in and out quickly with amazing results! She has these great package deals (she does them twice a year - buy xxx get xxxx) and keeps track of where you are at so you don't have to.
