We stopped in here to get our smoothie fix and were disappointed. I got a naked strawberry pineapple smoothie and my first sip struck me by how fluffy the smoothie was but I couldn't help but feel like the flavor was lacking. My friend later told me that she saw the server make the smoothie and that it had included a lot of water in the mixer. This made a lot of sense with what I was tasting- the smoothie felt like a whipped diluted version of a smoothie. I get that this probably makes the smoothies fewer calories and maybe why they call it a naked smoothie but maybe a better explanation on their menu would've avoided my disappointment. I'll skip this place in the future. read more

Buyers beware. This establishment is an Herbalife Nutrition Club and not a coffee house. All food products contain Herbalife dietary supplements and/or protein powders. That's fine if you know that going in, but if you're looking for a good cup of Joe and some breakfast, this place is not it. It's cutely decorated, clean, and the employees are kind, but my coffee and acai bowl were so overly sweet they were not consumable. All of it contained Herbalife products. Yuck. I was hoping for a coffee place to meet a friend and do some work, but Yelp reviews were misleading. I'm sure this is a fine place for those interested in Herbalife and or supplements in their smoothies, etc but I went in for a morning coffee and thus reviewed it as such. read more

First time here to The Healthy Hive! It is in the Planet Fitness plaza just to the left of it, no big sign up top so look along the doors and for the sign out front. Lots of flavors and options to choose from like shakes, waffles, pudding, açaí bowls and more. Cute sitting area, love the vibes, inside and they have merchandise you can purchase. The staff was super helpful, polite and amazing! Many different sizes which is great depending on how hungry you are. I ordered the peanut butter Oreo shake and it had beautiful presentation with chocolate and caramel drizzle. However not enough flavor for my taste. I taste a lot of the pb fit and not much Oreo or other flavor. I would still try their fall flavors as I love pumpkin items this time of the year and would try their waffles as they looked amazing. read more

What a tasty, fun way to get your protein in! They offer smoothies, teas, puddings and waffles and they are all packed full of protein! This is great for a meal replacement, snack, pre or post workout or just fun! They offer discounts if you belong to the planet fitness next door too. The employees were super helpful as this was our first time visiting. I opted for the natural smoothie which means no syrups or sugars added. I tried the chocolate banana and both flavors really cake through but it was still light and not overly sweet because again, it was natural. My boyfriend ordered the natural smoothie with cookies and cream base, peanut butter and coconut. Sounds strange but wow it was amazing!! They added real coconut flakes which gave a nice texture. Stop in on a Saturday if you can because they offer free samples of puddings they have created! Was looking for a healthy treat after all my indulging on vacation and found this spot! They have SO many options for smoothies, treats, bowls, teas etc, all listed with the calories (many being under 250) and the protein grams. I got the medium banana nut muffin and thought it was okay, not that sweet, but some don't like an overpowering sweet taste so it was good still. I think I'd try something else next time. This is a MLM company, Herbalife, shop. There is no actual espresso machine, just powder that they mix with water. My friend ordered an iced pumpkin latte. I watched them mix the drink together and pour some coffee mate creamer into it. If my friend didn't tell me it was pumpkin flavored, I would've had no idea. It tastes like water with fake sugar and smoothie powder, which I guess is exactly what it is. I cannot believe they had so many customers walking in and out. read more

This place is absolutely A must visit, When you walk in you get A warm welcome. And the shop is super clean. There is many things to choose from on the menu, and the people that work there are very good about helping you decide what you would like to order. Based on nutritional values, I have had several of their shakes and I want to tell you they are the best around, it's hard to believe something that delicious is healthy, but it is. They also have the best tea, all different flavors, I ordered a large and just stepped on it all day, it gave me super energy. So if you find yourself in Clearwater, it is worth going out of your way just a bit to give this place a shot. read more

I went here one afternoon to meet a friend, and ordered a raspberry iced tea with aloe, yes, you heard that right, ALOE for the sweetener. It was so refreshing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this sweet little spot that's tucked away in Clearwater. I tried a salted caramel coffee frappe here and while the flavor was good it was extremely too sweet, it could have been reduced by 50% sweetness it would have been great. The Oreo pudding sample was amazing, and had a layer of Oreo crust in it so I ordered one. Unfortunately the regular order did not have the crust layer which gave it some texture, but it still tasted good. read more

First time trying the Healthy Hive. The young lady that took my order was very friendly. I chose one of the non-dairy smoothies. I asked if I could have the smoothie without protein. She said that it would not be as sweet because they don't use juice in their smoothies, but that it doesn't taste chalky. I ordered the pineapple upside down cake smoothie. It was AWFUL. I could absolutely taste the protein which was chalky. It didn't taste like any real fruit was used. It was just a really bad smoothie. I'm just baffled why they can't make a smoothie with frozen fruit blended with real juice or coconut water? It didn't at all taste fresh nor healthy. read more

Looking at the menu, I felt like a lot of the items were expensive for what they were. a Croissant sandwich with egg cheese and a protein was $15, not including coffee, and I"m looking at the size of the croissants that by themselves are priced at almost $6 and I'm totally confused because they look like those mini croissants, not even full sized. I asked about their cinnamon rolls and apparently they're made fresh daily. It was good, definitely fresh. I also ordered a 14 oz cappuccino and those two items came out to $13. when she handed me the 14 oz drink I moved it up and down, my brain trying to process if maybe what I actually read was 4 oz and not 14. I handed the drink to my friend and asked her: "Does this feel like 14 ounces to you?" She grabbed it and gave me a funny look, "did they give you the right drink? This feels almost empty." "Exactly." I said back to her. She had ordered a black coffee with light sugar. They told her it was a medium blend but either they skimped on the amount of coffee or added more water than needed because this tasted almost like tea with how light it was. We both left feeling deflated, especially since we had allowed ourselves to get our hopes up. It's a good thing Dunedin has lots of breakfast places, we ended up having a great one at another place for cheaper.

I fell upon the healthy hive about 2 months ago. I saw an ad in Instagram and decided to stop by and try it. Needless to say, I have been going there practically every day since then. There has not been a flavor tea bomb that I don't like. All of the floridian flavors are delicious. Especially the Miami vice, sunset in Belleair, and pier 60. The strawberry pudding and the oreo cheesecake are my go tos for snacks, and I have an acai bowl almost every day from here. Soooo gooood!!!! I have had multiple people tell me to try the products and I have said nope all of "those" products make me sick. Instant headaches the whole nine. I picked up an uber from here, it was very clean, comfy feeling, no judgement. The owners were both friendly asked questions and they answered. I went back and tried the teabomb and OH MY YUMMY.
