It was a little busy when we went but the service was fast and everyone was very nice! They were on the tail end of their spring menu and unfortunately did not have the key lime matcha available but this sounded so yummy to me! I ended up swapping out the seasonal creamsicle latte for a creamsicle matcha and it was so yummy! I loved the light creamsicle flavor mixed with the sweet vanilla and creamy matcha! Southie's popped up while we were searching the area for a cute coffee shop, and we were really excited to try it after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, it wasn't at all what we expected and it was super overpriced for some items :/The biggest disappointment was the $8 bagel (everything bagel with cream cheese). We didn't expect it to be $8 as on one of the menus it says $2.50, especially for a such a mediocre and thin bagel with packaged cream cheese. When we checked in with the barista we ordered with, he was pretty dismissive about it... we would've gotten no food if we had known :/ We also got two matchas - one was the seasonal mango matcha and the other was a regular one with honey. The matcha was pretty pale in color and milky, and I couldn't really taste the mango because of how milky it was. I would skip the matcha here and *definitely* the bagel - it just not worth it. Coffee and service was excellent. Ambiancee was fun and seasonal themed. Food left a lot to be desired. Burrito was sloppily put together and dropped before it was handed to me. Breakfast bowl was the most disappointing: Very small portion, tough to eat because everything was in full pieces (bacon, tomato), minimal microgreens. Pricing was a little high for what we got, which is fine, but starting the tip on the machine from 25 to 35% for this seems a little underhanded. They have it set up so you can chill for a while after enjoying your delicious pastries! Outside you will see quite a few tables set up in the shade to enjoy your coffee as well. I decided to order the beef and green olive empanada. It was filled with beef, green olives and potatoes with a soft crust. I also ordered a vegan lemon blueberry muffin, which was also yummy and very moist. My favorite thing I ordered was the Iced Carmel Vanilla Latte with Almond milk, it's the beat dairy free latte I've had that isn't too sweet. My husband ordered a burrito and a cafe con Leche. He enjoyed both of his as well. I'm so glad we found this little coffee shop that offers vegan and gluten free options! Only thing to keep in mind is parking is a little tricky and there are only about 6 spots to park on the side of the building. We will definitely be back to try more! This is an amazing local coffee shop! They have an extensive menu. I do not order coffee out very often. I was able to describe to her exactly what I wanted (basically a sugar-free frappuccino with almond milk and sugar free vanilla caramel syrup) and she made it for me. It was heavenly. They also have a plethora of baked goods and homemade empanadas. The empanadas had the absolutely best empanada filling I have ever tasted. So delicious. There were four different options I believe. I went with the beef. It had potatoes and some vegetables and was well seasoned. The dough was a little tough, but the filling was so good that it did not matter. The inside is comfortable and a nice space to read, work, or chat with a friend. It definitely has a local coffee shop vibe. There are a few tables outside too, but they are not the most comfortable. My friend and I sat there for a few minutes after they closed chatting. I am happy that I found Southie Coffee! I've developed a coffee habit, & sometimes the Keurig K Cup just doesn't cut it. So we tried Southie. From the outside, Southie does not look like much. It appears to be an abandoned gas station in need of some TLC. But when you open the door, be prepared to be whisked into a different world. The interior is beautiful, smartly done, & very comfortable. The shop has food items, but my coffee addiction prevents me from deviating away from the main goal. There are numerous great sounding flavored lattes to pick from. I settled on an Irish Cream Latte. It was excellent. As a personal preference I would have preferred one more pump of flavor. Other than that I enjoyed it. My wife got a caramel cheesecake latte & said it too was a 4-out-of-5. So Southie may very well become my new halfway house for my coffee addiction. read more

It's become our post workout refueling station! Ironic since it used to be a gas station! Organic Quality Espresso and Coffee is primo and the varieties are there from frappes to lattes. The baked goods have healthy vegan and gluton free varieties. 6 types of sndwiches or wraps are on the menu. Delicious empanadas are also on the menu. I love their variety of Cinnamon Rolls too. Small tables and sofas give a great communal vibe and a great chill feeling after a workout or getting away from the maddening world!
