My wife and I had bad experience with the Heard Group. We participated in an online bid ran by Steve Heard. The website was called SacramentoHomeBids.com and Steve put the starting bid for a home we wanted at $412,000. After the time ran out we were the highest bidders with a winning bid at $430,000. Less than 20 minutes after the bidding closed we were informed that $430K wasn't enough and that he was going to list it for $539K. We sent Steve a letter to forward to the sellers and his reply was, "I don't see an offer attached to this letter."
