The drinks arrived on a wooden palate and were enough for the two of us to enjoy a variety. All of them were delicious. (You can also try their spirit flights.) What's fun is the drinks are served in beakers. Big Spirits has a bigger place in Bellefonte which we've been to as well. Just be forewarned that they lock their door fairly early. People were trying to get in, and when we opened the door to let them in, we were scolded by one of the bartenders.

If you do buy a T-shirt, I want to say, while the shirts are great, wash up nice and feel really comfortable, make sure you buy an upsized shirt. Normally I take a large but I decided on an XL and I am glad I did because after washing the XL fits perfectly. And I got to speak with (I think either the manager or owner) about the music they were playing. They were playing songs from my favorite singer, Bob Seger. I have every Bob Seger song he ever published on either, CD, Cassette Tape (yeah, still got one that works), or vinyl record. Told him he needs to check out the Bob Seger song Little Victories. I actually have a vinyl record with just that song. It is the large 78 version. That was a rare find and I actually found that in Germany in the mid 80's. The song says a lot. Anyway, after speaking with the man, my daughter said I could pick out and mix my own six pack of beer. Let me tell you, Rusty Rail makes some really, really fantastic beer. I should be living in Mifflinburg because I would be making a weekly stop at the Rusty Rail. And for all you ex-military people, the Rusty Rail does give a discount to military. The kids took mom and dad to the Rusty Rail and the Wild Animal Sanctuary as a gift for our birthday's and Mother's Day and Father's Day. It just so happens my wife was born on Mother's Day and I was born the day after Father's Day. The atmosphere of the Rusty Rail is great, it is simply a real nice place to socialize. And as a compliment to the Rusty Rail, I want to add this. When I go out to eat, one of the first things I do is use the restroom. Why? To see how clean the restrooms are. If a venu's restrooms are dirty, find another place because if they can't keep the restrooms clean, then they don't care about your food much either. The restrooms at the Rust Rail were immaculately clean. JUST TO BE CLEAR, THE RESTROOMS AT THE RUSTY RAIL ARE IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Thank You Rusty Rail for a wonderful time with my family.

When we sliced open the steak, it was completely raw inside. We told the waitress that it was so raw that it was touch to choose and she said that "it's thick so it's impossible to cook through". I thought that was crazy to hear from a restaurant that has tomahawk steak on their menu. If you don't think it is possible to cook it well, then it should not be on the menu. We ended up taking it home and putting it in the air fryer, which made it taste so much better.

We had such a great experience our first HH Saturday night we stopped in again Sunday for dinner and drinks. Makalah made our visits so wonderful she gets a shout out Thank You. Makalah, and her fellow bar staff. all made superb handcrafted (took a minute or too and so worth it) cocktails for us each night such as; Sweater Weather bourbon, Mexican Firing Squad tequila, and Sangria.
