I don't drink alcohol so I can't speak to their bar or other food. 5/5 Food: where to start with the burger- its thick patty has a great crisp outside and medium inside and is graced by nicely cooked bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a proper amount of sauce. The fries are classic, semi mush-semi crisp fries with coarse grained salt. The meal with a delicious burger that outdoes any other I've had in state college, even those that cost close to $20. Walking out the door, the meal (fries, burger, drink) cost 8.05, and I was happy to leave a larger than 20% tip to make it $10 even. I challenge you to find a better burger in state college, regardless of price. It's different than most in the area. You don't get the same kind of crowd. It's not the college student flooding the doors. It's adults professionals families coming to have a good time in a calm, relaxed pub they're not looking to spend hours knocking back shots or blinding up drinks you can if you want, but it's more sophisticated than other bars in the area, it's found in the same building as the tavern, which is also a great restaurant, but at Adams apple, you don't need to spend the same amount of money as a whole meal. They got good appetizers and great drinks of the restaurant is wonderful old Tavern style of a pub that has a good sized bar to sit in the winter they have a fireplace. The aroma smells wonderful because of all the drinks and to top it. All the bartenders are great at what they do and they will always help you with a drink that you want to specialize or make recommendations all in all it's a great place and I think if you're looking for a bar downtown, especially if you don't want it to be super crowded with college students I would say go here.
