The picturesque setting of Milton Ridge provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The lush gardens and elegant architecture created a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the joyous occasion. The venue's versatility allowed for a seamless transition between the fusion outdoor Nikkah ceremony and the lively reception. Both day-of coordinators (from the venue) deserve special recognition for their impeccable service. They went above and beyond by working with the decorating crew, DJ, MC, and photography crew to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, their professionalism and dedication were evident. The catering was a highlight of the evening. The fusion menu was expertly curated by the on-site chef and offered a delightful array of dishes that pleased guests from both cultural backgrounds. The chef at Milton Ridge showcased his culinary expertise by seamlessly blending flavors and textures, creating a feast that left a lasting impression on our guests. There were some concerns with the demeanor of some of the contracted waitstaff towards some of our externally hired vendors, but I recognize that this was not necessarily in the venue staff's control. I would suggest that the venue's staff be more responsive and receptive to telephone communication, as well. Some matters can be better discussed over the phone. I believe the venue mentioned that we were the 2nd or 3rd South Asian wedding held at the venue, so we were glad to allow the venue to work with us on our wedding to gain experience and we would certainly consider hosting future events such as anniversary parties or a baby shower at Milton Ridge!

For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!

She cares more about her paycheck, than the safety of the families/friends attending a wedding! Working with her was one of the worst experiences. Please be very cautious if considering a wedding there, we were suppose to get married 4/5/20, but rescheduled because Maryand shut down. Rescheduled for 6/7, still shut down, so rescheduled for 4/11/21. Seeing reviews where people got married in April-August... wow!!! Things were shut down here!! We decided to push back/cancel for now because it's not responsible to have 100+ people together (per the cdc and state, even the county says you can't dance together if not living together- not at all what we signed up for). Mary Beth was cold, uncaring, and huge reason for this post!! Linganore did the responsible thing, and reimbursed our deposit. Mary Beth is the coordinator for them AND the ONLY catering company allowed (Fine cuisine). After emails back and forth, they gave us less than half our deposit. Cold responses. This is a pandemic! Money hungry! I'm upset to not have our wedding, and planned out for Linganore, now we'll find another location in the future. Beautiful, reasonable prices, great wine.... but do not book if only Fine Cuisine and Mary Beth!! The Chef's son, at Fine Cuisine, was who I ended up corresponding with and he didn't care. They got their money, and that's it. They were willing to hold our deposit though until 2025 when we plan to reschedule, ridiculous! Mary Beth also said if we didn't use it by July, we'd lose it. What a joke!

The staff were also inattentive and did not assist with the cake cutting. My husband and I did not receive a piece of our cake because toward the end of the event, the staff had already disposed of the extra. In addition, it appeared that they had served us the wrong type of potato. Days after the event, my husband and I composed a polite and thought out email to express our concerns. We were hoping for at least an acknowledgement of our concerns and an apology. Instead, we received a rude email, which basically blamed us for all of the issues we expressed. At this point, I was very upset and responded with an email laying out timelines and illustrating exactly why they should at least take some responsibility. To this, I received an email simply supporting Fine Cuisine's previous email in a more polite way. When I responded to request that the issues be addressed, I was ignored. I was left feeling extremely offended and unacknowledged. It seems that after receiving their money, they no longer care about client satisfaction. The issues at the event could have been easily dealt with. It was the way I was treated after the event that leads me to leave this review and NOT recommend this catering company.

There was a huge stuffed moose hanging on the wall, so you can certainly see why this room got its name. They had television system playing with videos of the loved one. There was a whole wall devoted to food. It is a bit dated, so I took off one star. But, if you are looking for a gigantic room with all of the electronics and clean bathrooms, then, Moose Lodge is the place for you.
