Let's be honest, bulk cooked food for 100+ people is never going to taste as good as what you get at a tasting, but this was close as you could ask for! The Texas beef brisket was still so tender, flavorful and juicy, and the Peruvian chicken was similarly juicy and not over cooked (and chicken is so easy to and so often overcooked). All the desserts were also excellent but the bread pudding especially was amazing. We heard praise from numerous guests about the food especially about the brisket and bread pudding! And throughout, the bartenders and serving staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. On top of all that, the price was very very competitive. One of the reasons we booked this venue is because it's literally a one stop shop. They do the catering, the cake, the tablecloths/place setting, bar, the set-up and clean-up! Of course we had a florist, dj, 360 Photo Booth and other crowd pleasers, but the bulk of the items that were required were provided by the venue. The Villa provides a day-of planner, which she was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable, but I wanted someone who knew me personally to advocate for me. I hired another coordinator to be my liaison for the day. I would suggest you do the same, if you're getting married. It's just good to have someone that knows you or will advocate for you when you need them. I had a few hiccups during my wedding day and expressed my concerns to management the day after. The professionalism and courtesy they provided us was extremely appreciative. From start to finish, my wedding coordinator explained everything, responded to all 5 million of my emails - in a very timely manner. Anything we were confused or didn't understand, was thoroughly explained. My original coordinator left her position, but Tracy stepped right in with both feet on the ground. If you're on the fence, give this venue a try. We had our wedding in the tent, which I believe is called the Renaissance Room. The location was perfect, the serving staff were awesome and we just had a knock down, drag out time! People are still talking about my perfect day!

The staff was helpful, courteous, and always had a smile. They were very attentive to our needs. When someone spilled a drink all over the floor and they cleaned it up very quickly. Also the quality of the food was great as we had fish and chicken which were cooked perfectly. They were up front with all of the billing and exactly what services they would provide. They followed our instructions to the letter. We also had some people at our event with allergies and they made sure they were helped out by making sure their food was safe. The event flow was great too. Also when we were out taking pictures in the hot sun, they offered us water and appetizers which was very thoughtful (we didn't ask them to do this). I was a nervous bride, but from the onset Dave reassured me and did his best in calming my nervous. He dealt with all the issues that arose at the venue, and on the wedding day he and his staff were attentive and very professional. The food (we had a sit down meal consisting of salmon and sirloin steak) was good and beautifully presented. We purchased their package deal which included the cake (Clara's Cakes) and photography (Lidia Miller's Photography). They both far exceed my exception. Our theme was love birds, so Clara designed a cake with shimmery silhouettes of kissing birds around the three tiers and big blossoms of sugar flowers as the topper. It was beautiful! Lidia (the photography) was a godsend! She handled the chaos of the day with a grace and calm. Initially my husband was a irritated because Lidia took so many pictures and had us pose very specifically for each one. At the end, however, we both agree that it was worth it, as we now have a beautiful documentation of our special day.
