    If you strive for top of the line service, and attention to detail, The Villa is the best choice you can make for your event. If you're lucky, like myself, you will get Veronica Parker as your Catering Supervisor. My only sore spot was my Party Planner, Ester. I would not recommend her and I'm not sure if she's chosen the right profession. Also, ask for Jeff - he's AWESOM!!! I'm already trying to come up with a legitimate reason to have another event at The Villa. Because of Veronica and Jeff, without exaggeration, I can honestly say this was the most happiest day of my ENTIRE life.

    I've photographed two weddings at this venue and have been very pleased! My first bride was super happy with her wedding and they held their ceremony and reception in the rented area. My second bride was this year and had a last minute wedding there due to Florence, the villa fully accommodate them! Wonderful staff, very clean and spacious.

    My church had an event there and the food was good. The presentation of the food was excellent. I would recommend this place for an event.

Before I hired her she quoted me one price on the phone then at our sit down she started adding charges here and there. But I was so excited it didn't matter. And I started to get nervous when she would cancel our meetings; one was a few hours before. But things really turned stressful when I started to request pictures of items she wanted to purchase and a time frame of when things would be completed. With the wedding so close, she did not respond in a timely manner. When she did return my calls she actually said "I apologize, I am extremely busy with events from Thursday through Saturday. I nearly lost my mind. This is one of the biggest days of my life and the person I trusted with my wedding dreams was putting my needs on the back burner, and she thought this was appropriate behavior. Her lack of communication and follow up put stress on me and my fiancé, because we had no idea what was going on. After that conversation I was not confident in her services, so I terminated our agreement and requested our money back. I got no response. After I posted a negative review on another site she finally emailed stating she would refund part of our money and receipt for what she claimed she purchased. I responded that whatever she purchased with our money belongs to us. After a few back and forth emails she has agreed to refund us our full deposit. I will update soon with a status. 10/29/2017 Update...Nakia has not refunded the $1000.00 deposit as she agreed to , nor has she responded to our phone calls, texts or emails! WORD OF ADVICE, do a thorough background check on the Nakia Walters /Nakia Hicks before handing over any money, This was a terrible transaction and we are left without a decorator and over 1/2 our budget gone 3 weeks before our wedding!

    Oh my goodness, Andrea was incredible!! We hired her as a partial planner and she surpassed our…read moreexpectations and then some. We realized around 7 months out that while we had booked some of the major things, we were overwhelmed and in over our heads, and she really saved the day and made it all possible - planning a wedding is a lot y'all!! Especially from out of state, whew! She helped us with finding quality vendors, keeping us on track/organized through her super helpful portal (which had sections for design planning, vendor contacts, budget, seating charts, to-do list, advice, etc), with a number of scheduled video calls and by checking in via email. We used zola for our website but I regret not going with her option to build a website for us because zola had a lot of frustrating limitations (couldn't even add links or bold things where we needed to). She had a helpful assistant through the prep process and an amazing, kind wedding day team who helped assemble my dream design elements. I'm a designer and made mockups of how I wanted things to look and uploaded pictures to the portal design studio, and they followed my vision so well!! And they even made one part look more tasteful than I had planned - loved it! Maybe more importantly, Andrea and her team basically made everything run smoothly, including packing up all the stuff we gave them to set out at the end of the night and dropping it off at my husband's dad's house since our venue was strict and needed everything out ASAP. What a relief to just show up to the wedding day (and leave) knowing all of those little details were being set up and taken care of - it was awesome! On the day-of, Andrea and her team were connected with the vendors with headsets, making everything run smoothly and communicating with the DJ about who was coming down the aisle for the songs to line up. She also helped us and the rest of the staff adjust and pivot after our ceremony went way overtime (we should've known, our rabbi loves the poetic details, which was beautiful in the moment, and my husband & I probably should've planned for more time knowing that lol). She helped us calm down after realizing how behind we were because she stayed so calm and collected, and calmly walked us through deciding what to shift for the rest of our timeline (we packed a lot of rituals in there). She also swooped in to help when I was having trouble with my makeshift dress bustle (she had worked at a bridal shop in the past - so amazingly helpful!) Andrea is so kind, calm, organized, approachable, and just nice to work with. She talked me through a few anxieties when I was overthinking things and in general, she was super patient with our moments of indecision and neurosis lol. I'm going to miss our rapport and check-ins, it was so nice knowing she had our backs throughout this whole process. Wedding planning is an overwhelming process, so having someone there for us like she was was a total game changer. I wish I knew more people in the area to recommend her - if you're on the fence, definitely hire her! She's amazing and you won't regret it!! Andrea turned it into the wedding of my dreams. From the beginning Andrea was professional, organized and full of ideas! She asked us what our must have wedding details were and found a way to make sure that we had them in the wedding. I appreciated all of the vendor recommendations she provided. They fit in perfectly with the style and tone of the wedding. She was there every step of the way and alleviated all of the wedding planning stress that she could. Andrea had a solution for everything that came up through the process. Even down to the end, like not having a cake stand for 2 of the cakes a day before the wedding. She came up with a substitute that was beautiful, matched the decor and no one was the wiser. The day of the wedding she was there with her team and the magic happened!! It was a beautifully arranged room and better than I imagined. The days events went along smoothly. But, it was Andrea and her team working hard behind the scenes to ensure that all we had to do was enjoy ourselves! And, everyone enjoyed themselves. I decided to check with my dear friend Google to see if he knew of a good wedding planner. I found 3 or 4 options and sent out an email to all, a couple responses consisted of the generic automated kick back email. I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to my first (of many) voicemails from Grace. She sounded so sweet, organized, and ready to get started. It was this initial contact that really made me feel like this company cared to make a good first impression and we set up the interview. Our first meeting with Grace was wonderful, she left us feeling confident that we could really plan and execute the wedding we wanted within our short time frame. From that day on, Grace worked diligently. She quickly gained an understanding of our likes and dislikes, which is so important when using a planner. She was able to weed out and narrow down my options without me always being there to offer input. I spoke with Grace on a daily basis, she was always updating, asking questions, or simply wishing me a good day! She set up all of the meetings, always arriving early to ensure the vendors were prepared. Grace has incredible taste and always provided her feedback in regards to staying with the style/decor I wanted. Needless to say, sometimes she knew what I wanted better than I did! My husband and I really appreciated the way Grace put out fires and solved problems without involving us, always mentioning the issues that occurred a few weeks later! Grace is not only an incredible planner, she is kind, genuine, and honest. She quickly became a dear friend, a few tears were definitely shed at the end of the wedding day. Your wedding day is such a special and intimate moment, it was ideal having someone that you feel close with running the show. She helped me put on my vail, drove our golf cart around the reception, and helped me take off my very complicated dress at the end of the night.     I attended a bridal expo for inspiration and potential vendors. Something stood out to me, a…read morebeautiful flower display. As I got closer, I realized it was a lovely floral display of a rose tree and 2 white cherry blossom trees. I fell in love instantly! I spoke to the representative from Dalissa and found out they rent and deliver all types of items for weddings, parties, or any type of function. I checked out their website and saw they had everything from fancy chairs and tables to floral arches and special event items. I made contact and decided to rent the rose bush and cherry blossom trees. The delivery went seamlessly and so did the pick-up. My guests were blown away at the look and feel it gave the room. I'm extremely happy that I decided to rent these items, they went with my theme and they looked so real and elegant. I initially thought about making my own arch, but this was so cost effective and it was taken back afterwards, so I didn't need to figure out what I was going to do with it after. Plus, who can beat a set-up, delivery, and pick-up without me having to lift a finger. I will absolutely use this company in the future for any party rentals I may require.

How are you talking to one person on the phone and then emailing another about the conversation and they are looking like WTH! Delissa, although pleasant, her management team not professional. All are confused and unprofessional; they don't even communicate well with each other so there is no surprise they cannot communicate well with customers/clients/potential clients. To me, based on the LACK of communication and LACK of responses and LACK of professionalism from management office outside of the owner, quotes & rental prices are too high to even want to deal with this business. Sorry.
