The breakfast was amazing starting with an extra creamy yogurt parfait with blueberries and granola and then continued with an out of this world quiche, pork sausage, delicious roasted potatoes and then finishing it off with a decadent scone. They offered every type of juice imaginable. The location was convenient to downtown Lancaster (where we were headed the next day). Staff members who seem to legitimately care that you have a good time in the area - check. Wallpaper imported by time-travelers to add legitimacy to the decor - check. Free Wifi - check A cute story about the house being part of an amusement park area - check. Adorable staff with stories about the property - check. Seriously, The staff is so sickeningly sweet that I glared at a toddler today just to compensate. Each room is decorated with a variety of Victorian furniture and named after something musical. This is the place where we discovered their very yummy hot apple cider! Breakfast was filling and yummy. I believe we had French Toast with a size of fresh fruits and tea/coffee. We usually come up to Lancaster to go to our favorite restaurant there, Dienner's Country Restaurant. While we were here, we also got a chance to visit Jennie's Diner, conveniently located right across the street. There are no TVs in the rooms, but we enjoyed that idea it gave us a more intimate setting. We ended up playing cards and with the chess set available in the nicely decorated living room (we were there during Christmas time). They were kind enough to take some pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. This time, like others, we went In December, and was able to enjoy our short time here. We were greeted warmly by Tim and Heidi again. I even got to enjoy some hot apple cider at breakfast! We enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again soon! :)

She added central heat and air around three years ago. The B&B was built in 1909 and was used as a single family home until converted. The rooms and common areas still reflect the ambience of a family home. In the bathroom, everything works as it should. The beds are comfortable. Beth has improved her cooking and the breakfasts are now excellent. She will surprise you with some of her creations. If there is a downside, it's the noise coming from the street and the schools next door. However, that will be an issue in most places in Lancaster County. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Upon our arrival we were giving a tour of the main house, and shown were we had reserved to stay. It was quaint but like a little log cabin. Our bathroom had been given fresh linen and a basket on a small table had been filled with snacks. The room was very clean and warm. Warmth was needed since we were there in the fall and it was quite cool and windy. When you arrive you will agree on a breakfast time. In the morning you will arrive and be invited into their dining room, where they will equip you with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or even chocolate milk while you wait for breakfast to be finished cooking. Steve and Jamie cook everything fresh in their kitchen. Their food is divine...and if you love it as much as I know you will, then will give you a recipe to take home at the end of your trip. As you talk about your day, the innkeepers Steve and Jamie will sit and talk with you, but never neglecting putting more delicious food on your plate and filling your drinks. I promise you this is one breakfast table you won't get up feeling hungry from. Steve is very helpful in giving directions and giving you maps and brochures to destinations in the area. He is also good at giving you coupons to save money. The main house has a community room filled with books and movies for your watching enjoyment. There is also a small refrigerator always stocked with beverages of water and soda for the guest. We had such a pleasurable stay, I would definitely recommend Apple Bin Inn if you are going to Lancaster for business or for pleasure, Steve and Jamie will treat you right!!

The shared living room has comfortable couches and bookshelves full of books. The dining is also charming - very homey, with lots of country charm. I can't remember the name of my room, but it was a gorgeous suite. My bedroom had beautiful furniture (a comfortable bed, a dresser, and a desk), and my little den had a TV and a couch (where I read my book for a bit in the evening). The bathroom had everything I needed and was spacious. There was plenty of parking for guests, and the grounds are beautiful. If it hadn't stormed when I visited, I would have loved to read my book on the grounds. The breakfast in the morning was delicious (a yogurt parfait, some stuffed French toast, some bacon wrapped sausage, and coffee), and the service throughout was very friendly and helpful. The location was great; you're only a 10-minute drive from Lancaster and just a few minutes away from attractions in and near Willow Street (1719 Museum and Historic Rock Ford). My only little hiccup is that no one was at the house when I arrived to check in. I rang the doorbell several times before realizing that wasn't going anywhere. I called the number of the website and someone answered the second time. Once they realized the situation, someone arrived quickly and checked me in - it really wasn't a very big deal! Overall, I had a lovely stay at the Apple Bin Inn. I'd love to stay again! Just a really charming place to stay in Lancaster County!
