If you're going to charge premium prices, at least use premium parts and provide professional service. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for fair pricing or trustworthy repairs. Make sure to always ask for the exact brand/model of the parts they plan to install and compare the prices yourself before agreeing to the job.

At 3:52 PM, after receiving no call or update, I contacted Frigidaire because it had become clear that no one was going to show up. During that conversation, I was told Texas True Appliance Repair had called and texted me. The only communication I received was the original appointment confirmation text. There were no missed calls, voicemails, or additional messages. No service was performed, and my time was wasted waiting for an appointment that never occurred. I hope Electrolux and Frigidaire reevaluate their partnership with this service provider, as this experience fell well short of reasonable customer service expectations.

Shane came out to assess my dryer after it stopped functioning despite having power and being…read morecleaned of its lint trap. He determined it was an internal thermostat fuse that popped to prevent a fire. He waited for the part and replaced it in a subsequent visit. Fast forward a week, my dryer again has the same issue. They came out quick and we took preventative action (clean dryer drum and vent from laundry wall to external wall). Both my drum and vent conduit was relatively clean. So it looks like our control panel is faulty and would need to be replaced given its false positive for overheating. Instead of incurring additional part and labor costs which would have amounted to half of a new dryer anyway, I elected to replace. So although our dryer didn't work or get resolved, Shane was thorough and polite and engaged my husband and me on what was going on and steps forward. I'm glad to hear that Doc Danielson hires veterans and had a great technician who wanted the best outcome for the customer even if the appliance wasn't worth saving. Called 3 times between yesterday and today to try to resolve this. No call back. No tech. Lost in the void. Extremely frustrating to have to come here and review to try to get someone resolve the issue. Hoping we can figure this out, but be wary of complete lack of customer service if first call out doesn't work.
