They had the largest selection of cast iron cookware I've ever seen, canning supplies and even kitschy gift items. I got my niece a pair of pink flamingo garden ornaments as a joke gift. Who knew she would love them and they would be displayed in the front yard of her home? I spent about an hour browsing this store and know I didn't get a chance to see everything they had to offer. I'm working on a patio project and instead of wandering around a gigantic store in Ontario, I stopped at Kell's. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I explained what I'm doing and they personally walked me around the store, helped me gather up the exact right components, paint and proper fittings, cut the PVC at no charge, rung me up and had me out the door in less time than it would've taken me to drive to Ontario. Three people helped me while I was there -- THREE -- while simultaneously assisting other customers. It made me realize how much I miss dealing with real people who are knowledgeable and actually want to help. It just. Doesn't. Happen. But it happened at Kell's today. And it happens every time I've ever been there. Very thankful to have them right here in Lexington.

He whined about "just trying to stay in business" each time. In my opinion, trying to stay in business is done with good customer care. I was able to talk him into store credit. Honestly today will be the last time I but from them. From now on I will go to Modern Hardware in Loudonville. They are more professional and friendly, not to mention a much larger and better stocked store
