I visited the MTV store today to exchange a couple of propane tanks and purchase a few additional ones. When I arrived, there was no parking available near the propane area, so I had to park in the main lot. After completing my purchase, a team member named Mauricio kindly followed me outside to assist. He helped remove the empty tanks from my car for exchange and brought the new ones over for me. While it may seem like a small gesture, it was truly appreciated--especially on such a warm day. Thank you, Mauricio, for your help. You made the entire process much easier. read more

I think of all locations, this is the best one. They're well stocked on selection of items and the store is never crowded. Customer service is great too. We always have someone asking us if we're finding what we need and ladies at check out are polite. Their customer service is a joke . I purchased carpet and payed for installation and furniture to be moved for install. I paid the extra fee for them to move furniture out of the rooms . The day of install their contractor called and told me that they will need assistance moving the furniture out of the rooms because one of their professionals had called in sick . They didn't wanna remove the fee for that service long story short I canceled the purchase and will go elsewhere . The Home Depot rep was rude and unwilling to work something out with which made me cancel the order . I returned some items and was given gift cards, used the gift card on my last visit no problem this time I went in they said my wife had to be there to use them after shopping for a hour. Walked out went to Lowe's and happily used my credit card. I will go back with wife use the card next time and never step foot into a Home Depot ever again. The store itself was fine. Employees are friendly. Store itself is usually clean and organized. Selection is good enough for the most part. However, my issue is with being approached by a solar salesman while I was shopping. From what I can tell this guy didn't work for Home Depot, but was with a Home Depot employee. He tried to sell me solar. Keep in mind my cart was full of plants and other gardening items. Obviously I'm not looking for solar at that moment. It's bad enough these salesman call us and send us letters, now they are in Home Depot. I think this finally pushed me to going back to Lowes on a more regular basis. read more

I'm not even sure where to begin with this but I'm not trying to write a book on how bad this overall service was and there were honestly way too many points where they lacked communication and just over all business 101 but I will say this. DO NOT ORDER BLINDS FROM HOME DEPOT AND HAVE THEM INSTALLED. Just Google "The Blind Installers " or find a different blind company all together. Miscommunication, poor planning, false promises, took over 4 months before our blinds got installed and there were wrong then another 4 months for the correction install and a pathetic $50 credit as an apology WHICH NEVER HAPPENED! Still waiting on the install and it's now Jan of 2024 and we started this project in May of 2023 and we never received a refund of $50 back to our card, as the manager said he would. So many things are wrong with this company's service department. They simply do not have competent staff that work there and are too tangled up with various 3rd party providers that they don't know who promised who what and when what was supposed to happen and EVERYONE kept saying they'll need to get back to me and never did so I was the one constantly calling them back to follow up. I I ordered a 9-volt rechargeable battery for my in-home security system, 14 days later I inquired about it and it says that it has arrived so I called The Home Depot store they said it has not arrived yet okay. Now 19 days later after ordering I call and find out that it has been delivered and they're sorting it out right now so I called to inquire about it. They tell me it hasn't arrived yet I explained to them they're recording says that has been there for 2 days and you're sorting it out she put me on hold then gets back and told me we had to reorder it because it wasn't delivered . I explained to the receptionist that I tried to cancel this order but the system would not let me and that it was bullshit cuz this is my home security system, she then said oh you want to cancel okay and cancel it for me . So my word of warning , if you need some battery backup for your home security system don't get it from Home Depot there's absolutely no guarantee you're going to be satisfied and there's no guarantee you're going to get robbed while you're waiting for your product that never gets delivered in the first place. This message is specially for the assistant manager- Juan. My husband went to the store to obtain a price match or what they call it an adjustment on our appliances we purchased 12 days ago. We called the customer service number today and spoke with an appliances specialist and adjusted the prices on our purchase to match the special promotion happening right now. We were honored with the price match and received our refund after giving us the run around for almost a week. We were told that an adjustments could be made within 90 days of purchase. SO BUUUUUU TO YOU JUAN AND your team lost!! All Home Depot nationwide are able to do and are allowed to do adjustments as we were told by the bigger guys over the phone because this is part of their policy. On another note, Juan didn't want to provide the district manager's phone number , why??? Could be that he is doing something sketchy . And the store manager by the name of Sheena was not available to help us. BUT we are satisfied that we were finally able to get the help we needed with our request. read more

WORST HOME DEPOT EVER ", i came in to buy a few small time things, Right away this blonde lady started following me all over the store pretending to be on the phone and claiming to be looking for an employee. Anyways she followed me all over the store till the very end where she went infront of me and told her employee to make sure they check my ID ". Reluctantly, I went to this Home Depot yesterday for some lightbulbs. What should've taken me 10 minutes to do it took me 30 minutes. As soon as I went in, I asked for help because I had no idea what and where to look for what I needed. The first person looked at my old bulb and said this is not my department. I'll call someone to help you. After five minutes of waiting I saw this first person again and asked him if he called for help. He said he did and the two people that work in the lightbulb department were in the next aisle stocking. I wonder why stocking came before customers. The person that chose to assist me was very rude. I also witnessed this employee be rude to another customer. Unfortunately, this employee did not have much know it all for his department. I would not recommend Home Depot at all. Came in to this location in particular because they had the largest amount of a particular camera I wanted in stock. Online it said they were in aisle 53, but of course the shelves were empty. An employee told me they were upfront in a locked cabinet. Staff at the self checkout was friendly, but couldn't find the cameras I wanted. Turns out they were on aisle 52 on the top shelf. Had to wait around for someone to climb up and get them. Staff told me they had just recently moved things around on them, and it made no sense not to keep all the cameras together. I would have purchased online, but I had a coupon that wouldn't work. Not sure the wait and drive out of my way was worth the $5. read more

I recently ordered a large item from online. It was delivered to the store for free and notification was surprising when I found that it arrived a few days early. I am not marking Home Depot a 5 star joint because sometimes the prices are a little stupid and as mentioned above, it can be difficult to find someone to help you. This Home Depot is nowhere near my house, but I do occasionally visit when my local store is out of a particular item. On this latest visit, I was here looking for lighting fixtures my local store had out of stock. I wasn't in the store more than a minute (literally under sixty seconds) before an employee, Tom, offered to help me find what I was looking for. Could I have found them by myself? Probably, but it would certainly have taken me a few extra minutes as he knew right where to find them. Not only did he walk me to the correct aisle, but he actually found the items on the shelf and handed them to me. And all with a cheerful smile on his face. Now that is service. The lines were short, so I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Quite a bonus as I had to drive back across town and get back to work on my summer projects. Home Depot carries a wide variety of things the average homeowner will need to complete all their remodeling projects, as well as supplies for contractors and other professionals, too. If Home Depot doesn't have it, there is a good chance you don't really need it to get the job done. read more

There service hasn't been impressive. I went in looking for good paint brushes and have someone explain the differences between brushes, quality, price and brand. I bought an economy brush a few days prior at Lowe's and noticed the Poor quality it was and knew i needed some guidance on a better brush, minus the streaks. I went straight to the paint department and saw there was only one employee, when he noticed people were in the department he bolted. I found another employee, who looked as if he was chatting with his buddys, flagged him down to state that i needed assistance when he was done. He walked to the miniscule of paint brushes and said, "you can use any." Picked a brush up and stated it was fine for my cabinets. I asked for him to explain the difference and he stated they're all pretty much the same. With that i said thank you, he returned to his friend and i left and returned to Lowe's, where i had an associate explain the difference and recommendations for what i was doing. I would not recommend this Home Depot, poor service and lack of knowledge. Save yourself the hassle and drive half a mile down the hill to Lowe's for better assistance. read more

Great service from Tom in Plumbing! Had to take care of several issues at the house, connecting a new dishwasher (never again!) and repairing several broken sprinkler heads. Tom took the time to understand what I needed and to make very intelligent recommendations. Thank you! Sadly, this is not the case for most of the other staff who is largely disconnected from the customer service experience. Everyone is pleasant enough but few have the knowledge level as Tom does. He asked me if he could be of any assistance. He was great with my paint selections and questions regarding primer to cover an existing color. The cashier saw I was holding rebate sheets and handed me 3 more copies of my receipt and let me know that they require an original with each form... Loved that she saw that and went the extra mile without my asking I'm felt more in the "LET'S DO THIS" kind ofood after leaving there!
