Ordered a 1098.00 mobile work bench which of course wasnt available at the barboursville location because white was the preferred color choice. It was ordered 12-17-19. It shipped from Hagerstown MD. It arrived at Monroe Ohio then sat for 5 days. When it finally shipped, it took 3 days to get from monroe to barboursville. Monroe is 2.5 hours away. It has now been 9 days and home depot can only state it hasnt arrived as of todays date 12-26-19. So it must be concluded that Home Depot cannot accurately schedule delivery dates and customers cannot rely on Home Depot to get large items to their customers in a timely fashion. read more

Convenient store. Never had any issues getting what I need here. Don't understand all the negative reviews. Customer service is always nice.

I have been a lifetime fan of Home Depot. I regularly would visit the one by the house prior to moving to the area, so often I have the credit card. After moving, I have cancelled my card as I can not continue to visit this store regularly enough to justify the need. I spoke to customer service and still have had more issues than imaginable. To begin with, they're not friendly, don't have knowledge in their areas, and I've attempted to get an employees attention and had them make eye contact then duck into the break area to avoid assisting me. I was refused the military discount twice at this location by employees Before the manager had to inform them they do offer military discount. I was sold a portable air conditioner that was used, broken and returned then put back in the box and resold as new; then was made to wait for 45 mins while they verified that unit was actually a return to refund my money because they believed me to be trying to pull a fast one making a return on a used product less than 3 hours after buying it and going home to set it up. I ordered appliances and had the wrong set delivered, then when the second fridge was delivered they still brought the incorrect one but were unable to get the correct one as it was back ordered and the 2nd was filled as the incorrect fridge but they agreed to send it out without my consent because they couldn't get the correct one. I bought a ryobi tool which is a brand I love, that broke within the first day. They were unwilling to assist in an exchange for a working tool as they don't abide by the company standard for warranty returns on tools. After driving 30 mins each way to hurricane to get the tool replaced I vowed to never visit this particular store again. read more

Home depot was very nice to me and had terrific customer service compared to Lowes. I had a horrible experience at Lowes when trying to purchase an air conditioner. Home Depot was awesome! I also notice that they are a few dollars cheaper than Lowes. They have a better variety of seasonal products and lawn care products. I will definitely choose Home Depot at Barboursville over Lowes! read more

Customer service that rivals Comcast, if I could give zero stars I would. I ordered about $800 worth of flooring and they told it arrive at the store within 5-7 business days for pick up. Well needless to say that day has come and gone and I still have no idea when it will arrive. Spent 40 minutes on the phone with them today, talked to 3 different people and all I learned is that they do not care. Period. Officially a Lowe's customer for life after this. read more

This Home Depot is terrible because they simply don't care... I ordered a refrigerator gave them the size I needed and it was delivered a week later.. the delivery guys said it would not fit and did not even attempt to try.. I went back to Her me Depot to get another fridge and gave them my door opening measurement.. I bought a second fridge and they assured me it would fit.. a week later the fridge wax delivered and the delivery people again said it would not fit.. they were just too lazy to remove the doors.. needless to say I was ticked off.. I went back to Home Depot And canceled my 2nd order.. I advised them their delivery people sucks and the response was "we know". I then said they are costing you business, again they said "we know, we get complaints all the time" so to me if you know there is a problem and you won't fix it..you don't care about your customers and you don't need my business... read more

Home Depot's delivery department is TERRIBLE they are constantly late or a no show. I have spent over $17,000 and won't spend another dollar! If you need something on time DONT'T go there! I'm paying men to stand around because I don't have lumber read more

Home Depot delivered a vanity to my house and ran into our dresser and damaged it. The delivery guy would not say sorry or take responsibility .The delivery guy lied to my mom about what paper she was signing . He argued And had her sign for what he told her was that it has been delivered when really it was really stating she was liable for damage HE did. Just spoke with MARK LARKIN who was in charge of insurance through Home Depot and he was the most unprofessional and rude human being I have spoken with. He refused to give me his bosses name and hung up on me after claiming our conversation was done and there was nothing he could do. He continuously interrupted and was the biggest smart aleck . Not only did he make my elderly mother upset on the phone but me as well with his dismissive and unconcerned demeanor. read more
