Target was turning turning CUSTOMERS away for not wearing masks, much less employees. Just because you are outdoors doesn't mean don't wear a mask. On a Sunday, I took my dog to the dog park at Bee Cave Park and brought my trailer to pickup a utility sink. I needed help with this being that my dog has already been to this Home Depot a few times and it went only so so with the juggle. I asked the checkout clerk(wish I had his name here) in the lumber checkout to help me out. He was awesome. He had Mikael help me with a cart and taking it down from the second shelf. Again, the dog is in the car, and it's running(parked in the shade/ loading area. Everything went so well! Next time I will post the clerks name. On top of that they even helped me load it. First i will start off by mentioning i love coming to Home Depot, staff is always very friendly and welcoming, always willing to go above and beyond to meet our expectations, but today i had a different and awful experience with one of the staff members, Amal. Extremely rude and unprofessional, i had a simple question, can i return my washer? She went on and on raising her voice at me after i had explained to her the washer was purchased at this Home Depot and she continues to ask where it was purchased as well as for the "ticket" again, after i told her we only had the receipt being that we bought it off the floor the same day. Im giving 4 stars only because of this bad experience i had. If you work with people everyday the least that could be done is treat customers with respect. Without a doubt the worst run Home Depot in the United States. Clearly, the manager has no clue. The shelves are regularly empty while the website for the Bee Cave store says there is inventory which there is but it is all in boxes out of reach of the customer. I hate Home Depot. I hated going in there bc I've always felt intimidated and clueless. No one ever helped me and when I did ask for help, they always turned their nose up at me. That was until I experienced this Home Depot. I mean I've been here two nights in a row and have received excellent service. Everyone was extremely friendly and eager to help. The woman at the cash register even played with our daughter while my husband and I were trying to figure out which piece of plywood to buy. I wished I remembered her name! She was so sweet and helpful. When we finally figured out size and dimensions, Eric helped us with the wood cutting process and cut each piece to the T, which was really important for this particular project. He was helpful and informative. Thank you guys! It took a whole team of people to help us get out of there with a wild one year old but we did it! I love this Home Depot and we will be back!!!! Go to Lowe's. We ordered patio doors about a month ago and work on our floors (not from Home Depot) have been delayed until the doors are in. The doors were supposed to be installed today.They were supposed to come between 9 and 11. Then it became 11 to 1. After waiting for 7 hours and 4 phone calls, it became "someone missed the ticket". Needless to say, there are better things to do on a Saturday than waiting around on unfulfilled service. What a waste of a day. Go to Lowe's. read more

The hubby and I hoped that this store could be our go to, but we'd much rather drive the 25 minutes to south Austin to save ourselves from such terrible service. Bad experience number 1: we tried calling the store to see if they carried a specific product before going to the store. No one knew where to transfer the call. I was transeferred 4 times without ever receiving anything but a bad attitude, then the last guy told me to call the main line again and hung up. Bad experience number 2: we special ordered a rug that I fell I love with for our nursery. It took 30 minutes to order it in store because the lady wasn't sure what she was doing. I got a call 2 days later saying they didn't specify a color on the order. We were told it would take 8-10 days. After 10 days we called to see if everything was ok and the guy laughed at us and said that whoever told us that lied. Bad experience number 3 (and absolute last chance): we were looking at blinds and were hopeful when the associate knew what he was talking about and was helpful. We set up an appointment to have someone come to our home and measure the windows. It cost us $50. My husband and I both tool off work to wait for an hour for no one to arrive. When we called, the associate didn't apologize a single time and gave an attitude. When we said we no longer wanted to purchase blinds from them, he said "fine" an hung up! Childish, unhelpful, terrible service, waste of time. read more

As loyal customers of the Bee Cave Home Depot store we really don't appreciate being lied to. We had ordered an item that said it would be delivered on the 13th - 15th to the store. We received tracking saying it had arrived on 1/15 at 7 AM to the Bee Cave Home Depot. We waited all weekend but no e-mail that we could pick it up. So we called on the AM of 1/17 as it has been at store for over two days now. The customer service rep told us the tracking was incorrect - it was sitting at the Bee Cave Post Office and they had on control over it. We found that odd since this was not a postal service tracking number and furniture is usually a bit large to go through the post office. So we called the main customer service number as we were concerned about the whereabouts of our items - especially since we paid a lot for them and we were getting ready to go out of town. Customer service also thought it odd and called the local store themselves - spoke to a manager. The real story was IT WAS NOT AT THE POST OFFICE BUT ON A TRUCK BEHIND THEIR STORE FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS WITH NO ESTIMATE ON WHEN IT WILL BE OFF AND READY FOR PICK UP. I understand businesses are having challenges - but what I don't appreciate is being lied to in order to hide the truth. These things need to be figured into delivery estimates as well so customers aren't given the expectation that they will actually get their item in a reasonable time frame. Many items people purchase at these types of stores are time sensitive (needed for a project, a contractor coming over, etc.). read more

So very disappointed with the Bee Cave Home Depot. They botched the order and delivery of my washer and dryer not 1,2, or 3 times but truly FOUR TIMES before I just cancelled the order and went to Lowe's !! The order did not get placed in their system when I called the first time. Then when the units finally arrived to their warehouse, they delivered too late in the day and my building would not let them up the elevator. On the third attempt- they lost the washer at their warehouse and only brought the dryer! After over a month from the original order, the 4th attempt at delivery - (they found the washer), but it was all dented up! The lack of communication with their delivery folks, inability to get a specific delivery timeframe and 10+ day delivery window EACH TIME THEY MESSED UP THE DELIVERY- is not acceptable. Also, this Home Depot currently has no store manager to escalate issues to. It was such a frustrating experience and I doubt I will shop at such a store with so little customer service anytime soon! read more

Bought a Ryobi Lithium battery, have my receipt within the 90 day time frame but after buying two and retuning one battery charger already, tried to return the defective battery and Home Depot will not take back my return because I don't have the plastic packaging that you literally rip a part just to get the battery out. The battery is in excellent condition you can tell its new and again I have my receipt. So a $50 battery just coast Home Depot a bad review and any future purchases from me. Maggie, in the paint department, is the best. I went to Lowe's earlier this morning where three employees were behind the counter working on the computer. Only one customer before me. Nobody greeted or anything after five or so minutes. I normally shop at the Home Depot on I-35 but the closest location that had the item I need in stock was the Bee Cave store. The online ordering was super simple and I got a text confirming my order and pick up time/instructions. We left Austin and used my Apple Maps app to get to the store. For whatever reason, it directed me to the Sherwin Williams down the road. By the time we arrived at Home Depot, it was 6:04PM and the curbside pickup was already shut down. I panicked a little because I thought we'd just driven 30+ minutes for nothing, but then I saw an employee in the parking lot--Brandon--and asked him if there was anyone I could talk to about getting my order. He was so polite and offered to find out if we could still pick up the order. He came out with a clipboard, took down my order info, and opened up a curbside parking space just for us. A little less than 5 minutes later, Brandon came out with our item and loaded it in our car. We left the parking lot at 6:15. I've worked in retail for 25+ years and hate being the person who asks someone to stay open past the posted closing time--pandemic or not. I really appreciate Brandon helping us out and being so understanding and kind about it. read more

One week ago a team from Daryl Flood delivered and installed kitchen appliances bought at Home Depot Bee Caves. This is a warning to seniors and stay at home moms in the Lakeway / Bee Cave area to purchase from Lowes instead of Home Depot so you don't repeat my terrible experience. Daryl Flood didn't clean up the mess made from drilling into upper cabinets... just left wood shavings; didn't mop up the water from removed appliances... left water on floor; didn't unpack any of the packing materials or install the bins/shelves in the new refrigerator. They left assorted packing materials and cardboard on the kitchen counter and strewn about in shrubbery outside my house. I found metal screws, springs and plates in the street where they parked the trailer. Most importantly, they broke a stone step on the walkway that I asked them to not use. They faked a phone call and left without saying goodbye or that they were leaving. Hence the shock at finding the mess inside and outside after they abandoned the place without finishing the job that I paid Home Depot to do. I cancelled the remaining dishwasher delivery from Home Depot as I did not want Daryl Flood anywhere near my home and I reordered from Lowes. Do not allow Daryl Flood employees into your home! Home Depot lost me as customer because of their terrible decision to outsource delivery and installation. read more

I went in to Home Depot first thing this morning to buy moving boxes. Of course the only check-out available was the self check-out. I walked right by it and the girl never said she could help me. I walked back and gave her my business account card and she said she couldn't accept it because it didn't have my name on it. She then proceeded to argue with me and when I asked to speak with a mgr she said she was the floor manager Heather. I told her I was going to call the corporate office and she said it didn't matter what I said they would take her side. This is the worst service I have ever received anywhere. Heather (floor manager) is rude and doesn't know the first thing about customer service. It's sad that Home Depot has hired such an incompetent person to be their floor manager. read more

Please be sure to read Yelp's filtered reviews for less biased information. My previous review of this Home Depot was accurate and polite, but it has been shunted off as a filtered review because it was largely negative and thus deemed "unreliable." Evidently Yelp wants only "nice" reviews posted rather than truthful ones. I've been back to this Home Depot twice since my last review and found the gardening section staff members helpful and hard working, as always (thus the two-star instead of one-star rating), but the young (not middle-aged) store interior staff members continue to act vague and helpless or duck away to continue their phone calls and texting. C'mon, Home Depot, let's sharpen up so customers don't have to go elsewhere! read more
