Daughter purchased a washer from Home Depot. It was supposed to be delivered on Jan 20th, but there was an issue, of course. Then was supposed to be delivered on Jan 23th, but they canceled due to the freezing rain that was gone by noon & my daughter lost a day of pay. Washer finally delivered today Jan 27th, with a dent in the side of it. Mind you not bad & she could of sent it back, but she had been without a washer for 3 weeks & Home Depot only refunded $30.00 of a $900.00 washer. I'm done with Home Depot. While I am against being forced to wear masks that don't do anything to stop the spread of viruses (that is a political "placebo" that even Fauci admitted) I have never had a rude employee incident. People need to research and find out if home depot sells what they want and accept it. The employees will ask you more questions trying to determine what you want. That is not being rude, that is being helpful. Home Depot outsources the installation (I usually did the work myself). I did have them install a new roof and eliminate some skylights in the process. The only delay was the weather. Once the weather was good it took them ONE day to de-shingle, repair, weatherproof and put on new shingles. A beautiful job. read more

Nick in customer service is the best! He is very knowledgeable as to where items are located. I did an exchange on a store pick-up and added items. He was friendly. He did not act put out when I asked to return my pick -up order and purchase something else. He was thoughtful when packaging my order, considering how I would carry it out. Nick deserve to be rewarded for his customer service skills. Other employees are nice but, Nick is joyful while he attends to the customers. read more

Home Depot delivery is a joke! Paid for delivery and installation of dishwasher and haul away of old one. Delivery team refused to install or removed old dishwasher. There is no reason for this except laziness and they have not refunded my installation fees. I have a water shutoff, electrical plug and drain hose 18 inches from my existing dishwasher. They use third party delivery people who are unprofessional and lazy and don't really care about anything. The first thing they did was look for a reason why they couldn't install it and just made something up. If you want a dishwasher installed don't buy it from Home Depot. read more

Bowling Green, OH location is the worst Home Depot I've ever shopped at. There were a couple friendly employees, but unfortunately also many bad employees. One employee was blocking the very front, main aisle, right in front of the service desk, putting stickers on boxes from a cart I think. I assume she noticed us, but she proceeded to bend down and block the aisle ever more as we got closer. We stopped and my 15 year old son said excuse us very politely. She gave us the most angry stare down. Also, upon entering the store the entire first aisle was gated closed while two female employees were way down in the middle of the aisle chatted, giggled, and at least one was eating a hamburger in a wrapper. I wanted to buy a rake to replace my step-fathers' rake while we were visiting from Michigan. We had two hours to wait before a soccer game. The employees noticed us and asked if there was anything we needed help with. I didn't want to interrupt them however since we had two hours to shop and I figured we would buy some other stuff and come back so I politely declined and said thank you. We went all around the store and finally came back to this aisle after an hour or so, but the aisle was still closed. I like to look over things and inspect what I'm buying. This was around 2pm on Sunday, which should be very busy. Stocking and lunch time should be done slower times and in the break room. I decided I'll buy the rake in Michigan. In addition, we strolled in the garden area and two female employees were ducking down, hiding in the cashier's booth on their smart phones. I don't recall seeing any other employees in the entire garden area. The cashier's booth didn't look open and available, but I'm assuming it was if a customer snuck up and glanced under and behind the booth counters to find the hiding employees. My assumption is that employees don't use the breakroom or they take too many breaks. My overall impression was that the employees didn't want customers to annoy them. There was one very friendly girl at the self scan / self check out counters and I was so encouraged by her kindness that I made it a point to tell her she did a great job. I wish I had taken note of her name. We live in the Flint area and I shop at the Mundy Township, Hill Road Home Depot all the time. I love that store and I travel out of my way down the highway several miles when there are other hardware stores much, much closer. Home Depot has always been awesome! Shout out to Leroy in plumbing! We purchased a Stonemark quartz Calacatta Vicenza (with Matte Finish) by MSI countertop for a total of $4044.49. The installation date of the new countertop was scheduled by a company named Cutting Edge Countertops. A few days later, I noticed that Home Depot installed the wrong countertop. I purchased Stonemark quartz and color was Calacatta Vicenza with Matte Finish and they installed Belenco quartz color and color is 6114 Belluno. Along with ordering the wrong quartz, the countertop had a series of deficiencies such as: website markings, damages, marks, several gaps between the countertop and the wall, and the countertop is not proportional. Home Depot and Cutting edge countertops also did not let me see the slab, did not inform me of any website markings that are scattered throughout the countertop and that it was from a different manufacturer as well. On 9/8/20 my husband and I went to home Depot in Bowling Green Ohio. We spoke to Thomas Clark who is the representative that sold us the countertop. He was extremely disrespectful, communicated with hostility, and did not give an effort to try to help my husband and I work out the situation. He also raised his voice at us and said,"you are just stuck with what you have and they can install whatever they want." We then asked Thomas Clark to call the supervisor. We told the supervisor our concerns with our new countertop and showed him the pictures of the damages. The supervisor told us he was going to speak to Pamela Palmerton who is Home Depot's Customer Order Specialist, and they were going to find a solution to our concerns. On 9/10/20 I called the supervisor and he told me that he couldn't give me any information and that I had to call Home Depot costumer service. On 9/22/20 Home Depot send Justin from Cutting Edge countertop to inspect my countertops. On the day of the appointment Justin called me to reschedule my appointment for another day, preferably in the morning. He said that he was ordered to remove the website markings from the countertops nothing else. I called Home Depot and explain to them that they didn't install the right countertop and removing the "Belenco " brand was not going to resolve the problem. Later I received an email from Home Depot. They expressed within the email, that they were not going to fix my countertop. They also accused me of refusing Justin from Cutting Edge Countertops from entering my house, which is a false statement. Then I contact MSI. The MSI representative told me that the countertop Home Depot installed was not their product and that their countertop did not have belenco markings. The MSI representative offered to arrange a three-way call with Home Depot, so that he can find out what was going on. He called Home Depot and we spoke to Pamela Palmerton who is the order specialist. She told the MSI representative that she did not know anything about my order and was not allowed to give any information about it. The MSI representative asked her to transfer us to a supervisor who did not answer the phone. I also emailed Belenco quartz and they told me they don't manufacture Calacatta Vicenza matte. If you are planning on using this Home Depot for any counter top remodels just be aware they outsource their installation and if you have ANY issues with the install etc, they are horrible to work with...basically after they sell you the product you are on your own to get the project finished! read more

I went to Home Depot with one simple question; I wanted to find a plain cylindrical log, naturally I went to the lumber section of the store. I asked one person if they had any cylindrical logs and she gave me a terrible attitude! I was dumbfounded. A male employee who was working near then came up to me and proceeded to give me attitude because I asked for a piece of wood in the LUMBER SECTION OF THE STORE. He questioned what I would be using it for, and was overall very unkind, for a seemingly simple request. I have been to other Home Depot's before, but this particular one seems to have very unprofessional and out-right arrogant employees. I would not recommend. read more
