I purchased two storm do us from the Home Depot Crescent St., Brockton, MA. They hired a third-party to do the installation. Both installations were done by the same company at first both doors blew off when I contact Home Depot to have the door properly refused telling me it was a result of the wind however I have Furniture on my short porch. I will attach the pictures. Nothing blew off. The only thing blew off was the door twice and I had a door before this storm door purchase never a problem Home Depot will not honor it. They have somebody call me to basically apologize. No follow up as a result. I have no storm door. All the elements are in my house now my utilities go out the door. I am so disappointed. I'm a homeowner in this area and I can't go to my local Home Depot where I spend lots of money to get service that I paid for because they are not in the business of good business. Might I add at this particular Home Depot? I am so disappointed I want my door reinstalled properly. That's what I paid for. It's a storm door. It should not blow off because the wind blows. I don't even wanna go to Home Depot anymore. I would reroute anybody go to Lowe's. Give it another shot. I spent so much money at Home Depot to say that I am disregarded is an understatement. Ordered on-line with shipping from the Brockton HD. Supposed to arrive yesterday by 8.00 PM. After chatting with customer service twice, I was assured the order would arrive on time. This morning, still no delivery. Chatted again with customer service for 30 minutes. The store says the driver arrived too late last night so they had to re-schedule. To Sunday, 2 days after the deadline!!!!!! Was told that the store had set their delivery schedules last night, so there were no slots left for today. Don't you think the store would immediately re-schedule missed deliveries for the next day while setting their deliveries for the next day? Plus one would think that the store would re-schedule to today to make up for their mistake in not meeting the delivery deadline. Terrible customer service!!! Avoid this location. Asked one of your "knowledgeable associates" where the automotive oil is located and she says "we don't carry motor oil for cars". . apparently she is not very knowledgeable about which products the store she works at carries... aggravated because I am handicapped and so I had to work my way all the way back to nearby I originally was when I asked her to get the product. Came here to pick up some prepaid potted plants for a wedding. There was plenty of parking as with most Home Depots. There is a greeter right when you walk in the door available for questions or "directions". The customer service person was friendly and had the plants ready for pick up on a flatbed cart. We were in and out in about 5 minutes. The plants could have been in better shape. Some of the leaves were dead, dried up, or had been eaten by bugs. The parking lot could use some cleanup or a repavement. read more

We had an issue with curbside pickup that was very frustrating. Customer service never came out then couldn't locate the item when we stepped inside to see what was going on. We had even called before driving to the store to ensure it was ready and gave an eta to the representative that answered the CS phone. After heading home without our item, we contacted the manager to find a solution. Charles was polite, professional and went above and beyond to make sure we received our item we had ordered to be picked up. He genuinely cared and made us feel appreciated as customers. If only there was a star lower than one! The manager of this store, SHERRY out to be "fired" asap because it is clear she does not posses a managerial skill set! I had a physical appt with the person who works the carpet area. Took day off from work, went to my appt... no carpet guy. Apparently he called in and "no one" told the customer. I had some fast talking woman from up front that took a new hire off the floor and put him with me to "learn"? Literally took him of a ladder on the floor. Supposedly another employee that understood the process in carpet was coming to work with him and help me. I sat there for almost 1 hr and no one ever came! National Floors Direct got all of my business from new vinyl Pergo to the complete re-carpeting ! I will never go to Brockton Home Depot again for "anything"! read more

Always a terrible experience here!! They continue to utilize "self check out registers" which I refuse to use. This is retail, there should be a cashier at every register to check out customers! People need jobs!! And if I am forced to checkout myself, my purchase should be discounted for my inconvenience for their lack of customer service!! read more

UPDATE (4-28-13) ~ I took the products to the Home Depot on Stockwell Drive, in Avon, MA. Not only did they provide me my refund, they gave it to me in cash and didn't ask for ANY identification. This illustrates the fact that the Management at the Brockton store has little concern for customer satisfaction, the signs stating "no-hassle returns" are whimsical at best, and the Corporate customer support staff (who supported the Brockton stores decision not to take my return) were too lazy to know their own store's policies. Go to Lowes or Ace. Far better customer service than the Brockton, MA Home Depot !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Management at the HomeDepot on Crescent Street, in Brockton, MA, seems to do as they please when it comes to returns. Lowes may be a better location to shop. On April 27, 2013 I entered the Brockton HomeDepot Store #2611 to return two products that I had purchased for $9. in Dec. 2012. While I had my original receipt, I was told that the receipt is only good for 90 days and it had expired a few weeks ago. They told me that they would provide me a credit (perfectly acceptable). They then told me that, despite having the receipt, I would need to provide ID. Not having my driver's license with me, I presented my Federal employment ID which has my name and photograph but it was turned down. I asked to speak to the Manager and a Manager Joe Pratt told that they don't accept Federal ID, only State IDs or Passports. I called customer service and was told that this is corporate policy. I've served my Country for almost 30 years (Military & Civilian Gov). I can't believe that Federal ID is an unacceptable form of identification, in this store or any other in this Country. Further, I have photos of signs posted by HomeDepot, adjacent to the Return Desk, which exclaim "No Problem/No-Hassle Returns" and their posted Return Policy doesn't state anything about acceptable forms of ID (or the need for ID). In the end, I drove from my home to make the return and had to return home with the same products in hand and no refund. I can't believe they put me through that even though I had a receipt in hand and Federal ID...all over a $9. return. Dissatisfied with the Manager's and Corporate Customer Service's lack of "resolution", I filed a complaint with the Massachusetts State Attorney General's Office tonight. read more

This place has improved but still isn't the greatest. Unfortunately, whenever you have a store in a close-knit, small community it's never going to have the same amount of product a big, huge store on a major route does. The Brockton Home Depot is one of the smallest I've been to and lacks in every department. It definitely has the basics, and even more than that, but still doesn't have the full variety, like most other Home Depot locations I have been to. I actually think they are in business only because they are convenient for the folks in the area, because me, myself and I would make the ten minute trip to Lowe's at Westgate or Home Depot in Avon. On the plus side, the selection they do have is always well stocked (since it is such a low-volume store) and they barely ever have a line at the cash register. Just walk up to the register area and someone will be open. Staff throughout the store are friendly, kind and interested in directing and assisting customers. This store has definitely improved from its previous sad, sad state when I visited years ago, but has gotten marginally better. For the staff, convenience and the lovely feature of not ever having to wait in line, this Home Depot gets three stars. read more

this email cannot explain how frustrated I am w/ Samsung, Home Depot and Assurion. I purchased a brand new Samsung refrigerator at Home Depot in July 2014. W/in a couple of months, the handle on the freezer came off, the left side door would not close and the bar in the middle that catches the doors broken off. Issues were corrected, and then same issues reoccurred. on the week of 06/17/17, I called Assurion to file a claim. The fridge was not cooling and the left door was not closing yet again. Assurion sent GO Pro who went to my home on 06/29/17. they indicated that we needed a evap cover, but no mention of what to do w/ the door. On 06/30/17, i received a call from Assurion that the service call had been cancelled w/ Go Pro and that they would reassign. I tried to explain to the CSR that gro pro DID come to my my and whta they said. She insisted that they did not come to my home. I emailed a coy of the receipt i got from GO Pro along w/ the PO for the evap cover. She said she had to send another tech over, i asked her to just order the part and have the new tech come to install and also look at the door. Since the 30th, I've gotten a call from Home Depot (assurion) EVERY day !! all they tell me is that they are trying to get a tech out again, but they can't find anyone. Today, I called in ans spoke w/ ZACK who again told me the same thing. I have not had a fridge for approximately 3 weeks, this being the holiday, I had company over and had to get 6 coolers and I have been buying 6 packs of ice every day. We've had so many issues with this store, it's almost laughable! To begin, we are new to the area, having purchased a foreclosure which requires a ton of work. Having a handy husband certainly comes in... handy. We've utilized other Home Depots for past projects in other cities with great success, and figured we'd stick with "what we know" on our new house. The Brockton Home Depot is the poorest experience in memory. First of all, good luck finding it: the sign is obscured by bushes and trees. The biggest issue is with the employees, from customer service employees, to floor employees, to management. They are some of the most unhelpful-- and outwardly discontent-- people we've ever encountered. If you require help loading material or purchases into your truck, you may be offered to be assisted by an employee... you may not... but either way, you won't receive any help. Jamie loaded 12+ fence posts and 20 bags of cement without any assistance from a Home Depot employee, despite requesting it, and being told someone would come to help. Yesterday, my husband had to deal with a downright infuriating situation. He paid online for a set of tools, which he opted to pick up in the Brockton store. When he went to retrieve his order, he was told that it was "already picked up." How could that be? We didn't pick it up. The customer service team avoided eye contact with Jamie the entire time. He questioned one employee, who said someone came and picked up my husband's order and signed for it. The employee then produced a sloppily written signature that Jamie claims looks like "John" (my husband's legal name is Daniel). Little else was apparently documented-- we don't know if this person provided the order confirmation number, or if it was even asked for; we don't know if ID was asked for, and hastily looked over, or not asked for at all. We don't know if this was an inside job by an employee and/or a friend. By all outward appearances, someone walked in, signed for our order, and walked away with about $300 worth of tools for free. Jamie was promised by the store manager, Eric, that he would be called back this morning with a resolution. Since then (today) we have received no call back from Brockton Home Depot. When my husband called the store, manager Eric was "out of the office" and unavailable to provide resolution. Funny-- wasn't he supposed to call today? When Jamie asked to simply get his money back, he was told that the matter is under investigation. In so many words, it was also implied that we may have had something nefarious to do with this whole issue. The manager, Eric, has not extended any professional or personal courtesy and yesterday, hid out in a back office, instead of addressing the issue with an obviously discontent (loyal) customer. The store wouldn't issue a refund, nor would they give us the tools we've already paid for. Thankfully, after contacting the Home Depot online order center, our money was not only refunded, but complaints were filed against the store, both personnel and overall. We were (thankfully) graciously treated with immense respect over the phone, and profuse apologies were offered. We spend upwards of $10k a year at Home Depots, but no longer at this one. We will NEVER be back. And we look forward to hearing of the resolution to our complaints launched against this store. I can't recommend this store to anyone, for any reason. There's better Home Depots elsewhere. read more

If you need anything other than a basic screwdriver this is not the place for you. The owner of this location must have lost a bet. It is too small to carry everything needed for a simple project. Most of the staff is trained in non helping. I ask for a coupling and get asked " what are you doing with it?" That's their way of saying I have no clue what you are talking about so let me stall to try and figure it out. The first two times it worked but after that it becomes obvious that they have no clue what they are doing. Better off going to another location. read more
