We started remodeling our back porch and decided to buy a grill. The one we wanted was out of stock throughout the DFW metroplex, except for the Home Depot in Euless. We ordered it online, but we received a notice that it would not be delivered. After purchasing it on their app, we headed to Euless to pick it up. Unfortunately, it was already assembled, therefore, it would not fit in our SUV. We followed The employees into the store to see our options. The gentleman assisting us was named Kyler. He was incredibly helpful by making sure one would get delivered to us. I'm sure he could have just told us "tough luck", but he didn't. He made sure to pick a day for delivery that would work for us. We thanked him profusely for his kindness and assistance. Kyler ended up calling me a few hours later, apologizing and saying that the pickup day needed to be changed. It worked for us and we received our awesome grill a few days later. I've always had very good experiences at Home Depot. Their return policy during Covid has been great as I am a nurse and have had a little time to go in and return some plants that have bit the dust... I guess that is literal in this sense. I went in today and had missed the deadline for a return on a fairly expensive plant that I had not had the chance to return due to all the craziness with Covid. I'm also a single mom and in perpetual nursing school. A very kind cashier named Luke took the initiative to make sure I was refunded for my plant and understood the situation I was facing. He also made sure that I was able to get the best plants for the budget I had. He was so kind and thoughtful. It is rare that I have ever seen this type of service in a retail environment... Especially in a big box store. Thank you Luke for your kindness after a very difficult weekend that I had (which he knew nothing about!) This is my Home Depot home base, been here a zillion times over the years. Jon is putting vinyl plank flooring in our back bedroom (flooded recently and had to rip out all the carpet).... so we decided to get started and go buy the flooring the other day. We were really happy to see Home Depot only letting a certain amount of people into the store at a time. We had to wait in line outside, 6 feet apart from each other, and could enter when someone came out. An employee stood at the door with a walkie talkie managing the line and apologizing to everyone for having to wait. We thanked her for doing her part to help keep people safe! Home Depot is always fun to browse and gives me thousands of ideas for home and art projects I'd love to do. But... one thing at a time. We bought flooring, paint, and a new ceiling fan for our up and coming home office. This Home Depot is always clean and organized and has a helpful staff. aweful experience having my windows installed, it has been well over 8 months to try to get them to fix my windows, the left hand doesnt talk to the right one and they always missing a part when it comes to installation. then they break one window and it takes another 4 months to get the part, its rediculous service. will never use again. read more

Having never owned a home before, I don't think I'd set foot in a Home Depot or Lowes more than twice in the last two decades before moving to Euless. Since becoming homeowners, this Home Depot has pretty much become a home away from home. Location is a major factor in this store's favor. It's right on Industrial, directly off the highway. Convenient to those in the neighborhoods right there like us, or for those who have to drive a little. Although, its strange arrangement perpendicular to Industrial makes getting in and out a bit awkward at times. This store is a pretty standard Home Depot from a selection standpoint. However, I will point out that their outdoor area with patio furniture, garden center and pool supplies is absolutely superb. I had no idea how difficult maintaining a swimming pool would be and this store has been a lifesaver. They have everything I need every time I mess up the chemicals. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. When I look lost, it seems there is always someone to help and they have the tools at their disposal to actually help, which is nice. read more

Home Depot can be an intimidating experience for me as it is so big and there is so much stuff! I came in to get new seat Hinge bolts for my toilet. I walked throughout the store looking for the plumbing supplied and finally came to the aisle, but there was so much stuff that it became a little overwhelming. This was until I found Chris, who told me that they did not have the part I was looking for, but they had something similar. It was universal seat hinge bolts and he said that they should work. I plan on putting them on tonight! Also, I looked at washers and dryers and the guy that was there was so helpful and nice. He told me that they can hold any larger items you buy for delivery for three months. He encouraged me to take advantage of their upcoming sales and then when I want items delivered that can happen later on. Definitely plan to come back as the service was great! read more

My husband and I purchased a washing machine at Home Depot. The lady who did the order was very helpful. However, my complaint is regarding the delivery and their customer service. I received an email with my order information and in the email, it said I would receive a call the day before delivery notifying me of the delivery window. I never received a call and actually had to call Home Depot twice yesterday to get an update on the delivery window. Both times no luck. I get a text update last night that the delivery window was finally scheduled (12-4pm next day). Today I start receiving updates via text and at 10:03, a text comes thru saying they will be at my house in 30 minutes..mind you that's 10:33-outside of the delivery window that HD scheduled. I called the 1-800 number and told them that I wasn't available that early and she verified that they wouldn't show up until the scheduled 12-4 delivery window....and guess what? At 11:19, while I am on a WORK ZOOM CALL, delivery driver from HD shows up. Not only was this an inconvenience and interruption to my work but the whole process was absolutely horrible. You aren't even allowed to purchase the appliance and take it home-delivery is their only option and oh yea don't forget about the delivery fee. I will NEVER purchase an appliance from HD again and certainly would NOT recommend them! read more

Today, I went to Home Depot looking for 20 ft .375 rebar. I had been to Lowe's and called Ace but neither had what I was seeking. Finally, I came here and it was absolutely perfect! First, I had a hot dog, chips, and Diet Coke outside at the stand. It was amazingly delicious and the lady was kind and generous. Upon going inside, a worker named Ti helped me find the rebar and walked me around to show me what I needed to do to get set up. I went around back to get it and him and a manager named Patti helped me set myself up so I could cut the rebar in the back in the size I needed it. Adam and Patti came back later to check on me and even helped me load it into my car and get a few more things I needed. My experience was fabulous and I'm looking forward to continuing working with them as I do more projects. read more

Summary: I walked in looking for 3 items and it took me an hour to get all of them. Aisles aren't clearly marked, website codes are indecipherable, and in one case I had to do something dangerous to get the item I needed in a timely fashion. When I finally found one of the vinyl flooring sets that I needed, there weren't enough in the front, and the ones in back were stacked 10 deep, with the top hidden behind the wall display. They're too heavy to pull out of the middle, so I looked for employees, but was only able to find cashiers. They said they would send someone, but nobody came for a bit, so I decided to see if I could move the wall display. I could, so I was able to reach through a narrow opening to get what I needed, although I lightly scraped my wrist in the process, and was in danger of further wrist injuries. Next, I went looking for an item that I had a website code for. It said FW, which made no sense because aisles labels are numerical. I found an employee, who explained that FW stands for front wall. How was I supposed to know that? Why not just write "front wall" on the website? With the help of TWO employees I found what I needed. Next I needed tape, which they said was in aisle 25. None of the aisles were marked 25!!! I finally asked for help, and the woman said that you can see the number marker only if you come from a certain direction. The store and website both need a major overhaul to help customers find things, and faster service so customers don't have to do dangerous things. They get two stars instead of one because employees were friendly when I could find them, the place was clean, and checkout was easy and fast. Still, I'm thinking of checking out other hardware stores in hopes of a faster and safer experience. read more

We were given store credit because of the horrible service we got. We had to wait 3 hours for something that took 5 minutes once we finally got help. Came back to use the store credit but we only had the claim number and we were basically told we were lying. We spoke to Gladis and she said she remembers EVERY customer service call but claimed to not remember ours. We finally called customer service and she let us know they spoke to her already. We basically had to do their job for them. I eventually got sent a card after calling customer service and resolving the issue myself. I went early Saturday morning , May 23, to buy 3 ceiling fans. I was shocked that most employees were not wearing masks. Including the lady helping at the self scan area. Corporate Home Depot lists masks for employees as being a strategy to provide a safer environment. The good news, the gentleman in " Fans" was extremely helpful. This was a tax free weekend on energy saving appliances. Ceiling fans were on the official list. No one seemed to know anything about it! Seeing the tax amount pop up after scanning my items, I ask the helper. Knows nothing. She asked a cashier. Knows nothing. She goes to find out. I wait. And wait. And wait. Then I leave. Without $400 worth of fans. I did go to Lowes. All the employees I saw had masks. In the ceiling fan section, there is a flyer about the tax free items. I buy my fans. Unfortunately, the box had to say " Energy Star" on it, so I didn't get the discount. But, at least this store knew about the weekend! read more

We rented a rooter machine to unclog outdoor pipes - which we have done many times in the past. First off- the first machine that they gave him would not work - and he snake portion was stuck - so my husband immediately took it back to get a different one. The second go around - upon the return- the employee yanked out the snake and right in front of my husband damaged their own machine and then looked at my husband and told him that he broke it. My husband explained to him he can not yank it like that and showed him how to unroll the snake - in fact stayed there unrolling the entire thing so he could see he had not damaged it. The employee argued with him that he damaged it. My husband said - no I clearly did not - I just unrolled this entire thing. Finally my husband asked for their general managers name - which he refused to give him. He got his receipt - for $101 and left. Two days later we get home and notice that they charged us the &$101 and an extra $100. Not matching at all the receipt. My husband called and the manager said that he damaged it - my husband explained again that he did not and what happened. Now we will be going up the chain, filing a complaint with the BBB and disputing with our bank. we have rented that same machine every few months for years now (old pipes)- and we will NEVEr rent from them again. They are clearly trying to scam customers. read more

I like Home Depot a lot. Whether it is some crafty DIY or a home repair, they are my first choice for my supplies. Every time that I come here to shop, an associate will ask me if I need help. They will direct me to where I need to go if it is close. If it is not, they will personally walk me there. The associates there know the layout of their store as well as what they have, and what they do not have. Several times I have been told that the item that I am looking for is not something that they carry, and I have been helped further by given a few suggestions of who might have it. Finally, Home Depot has the hot dog stand outside. From nachos to dogs and other snacks, if you are worn out from working on a project, this is a great complement to their store. read more

I purchased a washer/dryer from Home Depot on Memorial Day. It was to be delivered today, the 2nd. I received a confirmation call on the 1st indicating it would be delivered on Saturday the 2nd between 1-5. The delivery drivers showed up at 2. They came in and measured and then went to the truck. After about 5 to 10 minutes they came back in to tell me "they have bad news". They forgot to put the equipment on the truck. He indicated "they would call me to schedule another time, maybe even tomorrow if they can". Needless to say, I was not happy. I called my home depot sales person, Bob. Bob is wonderful and has always provided top service when selling me appliances. I can't say enough good things about him. Bob called the delivery company you said they DID they have my washer/dryer they just didn't have the stack kit. That the stack kit is on back order. They've "ordered" it and will get it here as quickly as possible. Because they told me they confirmed the delivery and so on... I gave my old washer and dryers to someone else this morning. SO, now I have no way to wash close...other than going to the laundromat, and dont have an any idea when it will be delivered. Very frustrating. read more

My wife and I wanted to install a storm door in our new home and saw some that we wanted at this Home Depot. I'm not very crafty, so I thought I'd pay for someone from the Home Depot to install this. I brought measurements in to speak to someone about this ~1845 one evening and was told that the person had just left for the evening, but they would assist if I came in at 0800 the next morning. I did but found myself waiting almost 20 minutes before an employee told me he would try to help me despite not being familiar with the system. He couldn't help me at all, but I appreciate his trying when paging the employee that should have been there wasn't working. 25 minutes of waiting and I finally saw the supervisor that could help. I was told I needed to pay someone to come out and measure the door frame. I let her know I already had the measurements and this was not necessary. She insisted this wouldn't be an option and that I would receive my money back later into the process. I relented knowing that I'd get my money back. Several days later (05/14) the Home Depot called and informed me they wouldn't install the storm door. I asked why and they told me it was because my door frame could not support a storm door. This was far-fetched considering the previous homeowner had left holes in the frame where a storm door used to hang. Regardless, I asked for my money back and was told this wouldn't happen by a Linda/Lisa. I requested again because I never would have purchased this if the supervisor hadn't told me I'd get my money back. Linda/Lisa didn't care, so I asked for a manager. She put me on hold and then hung up. When I finally got through to the customer service line when calling Home Depot, a Mike assured me I'd receive a refund. I asked if he needed my number or anything else, but he said he would be fine. I still haven't received a refund. I won't be coming back to this Home Depot and it's unfortunate because the other options are twice as far from my home. I've been a real fan of Home Depot for more than 20 years, but not anymore. read more

I came here today to get some caulk. I was walking to the door when I saw a guy right out front selling hot dogs and beverages. Out the corner of my eye I see PICKLES!! the good ones!! The big beastly movie theater ones! Did I get one? U bet ur boots I did :) anyway....soooo this place is huge and I had no idea where to go. I just started walking, pickle in hand. Within seconds I am warmly greeted by an employee asking me if I needed assistance, I declined because I wanted to wander around a bit..i haven't been to home depot in years!! I head towards the blinds and curtain rods area and then the carpeting and flooring just browsing and passing time. I was approached 4 times by employees asking to assist me, they are so eager and helpful :) I decided finally to seek guidance from employee #4. He steered me over to the area I needed to be and proceeded to ask about my project and why I needed the caulk, what area I planned to use it, etc. So we get over there and this guy is like the caulk expert seriously! He was going on about the type of adhesives, durability, color, elasticity, dry time etc. I decided on a basic inexpensive one that he suggested. He then gave me a play by play on how to use/apply it, complete with a demonstration on proper stance. He was great!! I know I came here for one simple little thing, but my 5 star rank is based on the phenomenal customer service I experienced. Did I need all the extra information? No. Did I need several people offering assistance? No. But the fact that it was so willingly available speaks volumes. Maybe it's because I looked like a damsel in distress, alone munching on a pickle... Whatever the reason was, I appreciated it. Please not that I'm as girly girl as they come, and my dad hooked me up with a fully loaded tool box. I'm aware that this is a hardware/home improvement store with aisle and aisles of things I will never use. But I'll tell u one thing, if I ever have a question or need I would come here for guidance..No question about that. read more

Be really careful what plants you buy here. You can get some fantastic things but sometimes a rack of plants will not get watered for days and they're on the verge of cellular collapse. When you return something to Home Depot and you choose the gift card, they ask for your ID so they can match the name and the card when you do use the gift card. Make sure they actually scan the back of your ID instead of typing it in, because if they make a typo mistake, you won't be able to use your gift card. You have to wait 24 hours before it's valid again. Then you have to actually get with a manager and make sure you can use the card. Today was the 3rd time that Home Depot messed up. We just moved into a new house so we have been visiting Home Depot and Lowe's a lot lately. In comparison, well......I prefer Lowe's. Maybe because I'm a girl and Lowe's is "prettier" than Home Depot. Home Depot is almost like I walked into a sand storm. Everything is grainy and blah. But for what it is...a hardware/home improvement store....it serves it's purpose. The staff is super nice and helpful...they all seem to know exactly where everything is. If they don't know, they walk over with you and try to help you find it and they don't stop until you've found it or a substitute. Certain items were a little pricey, like shower curtains and rods, so if you just have to get them there expect a markup, otherwise stick with old faithfuls Target and Wallyworld for that. Otherwise, your lumber, plumbing, and gardening needs should be met in one swift (or 5 like us) trips. read more
