There is no question about the fact that the issue showed up a few weeks after install. I don't know what happened to it.  Nobody in my family knows what happened to it.  I can tell you this.  I've never seen carpet do that before.   Not even the 15 year old carpet we just had replaced to have carpeting sold to us by Home Depot and made by Mohawk.  I'm 53 years old and I always had carpeting in my house.   I travel for a living.  I never seen any disgusting hotel carpet to that.     Who whatever thought that you go into your local Home Depot to purchase carpeting and installation,  that your are going to wind up being screwed by them because you have been sold some poorly made carpet! read more

Dave Z from Home Depot is a ROCK STAR! I needed to get some lumber items, and get them cut to size for a sewing room enhancement project for BOTH my wife and a friend of hers. Dave gave us (mostly them!) the expert help and insight into getting what we needed. Cuts were needed and needed to be relatively precise. While I was off getting other needs, Dave continued on to the cutting. Both, without even asking for precision were absolutely astonished at just how carefully Dave set up the saw, and checking and rechecking measurements with a precise eye as keen as if this was his own project. When we got home, he was DEAD ON THE MONEY with the cuts (tolerances well within a 16th of an inch). We have a gift card and they won't let us use it because, to use the card you, have to scratch off the pin but oh if you scratch too hard the pin is no longer visible so it's just not usable anymore. How ridiculous is that. $50 gift card we have no use for because there isn't a pin?? What's the point of the scan bar code then? Two different people told us there was nothing more they could do for us. I said "does this happen often?" She said no. We didn't even scratch it hard! read more

I am very upset at the experience had at this location of Home Depot. They asked my father if he would like to save $25 off of his purchase, which of course he said yes to because he's trying to fix our thermostat before winter comes, and the part was quite expensive. What they neglected to tell him is that he was applying for a credit card through the store. They asked him for his social security number audibly instead of having him enter it for his privacy, and the entire time neglected to say that he was applying for a credit card. This is extremely illegal, as the card was being applied for without his knowledge. They also didn't even bother to tell him which part he would need for our house and weren't around to answer his questions to find out which part would work best for us. This store is a terrible example of customer service and lack of knowledge about basic customer service laws. I will stick to shopping at Menards, and definitely not coming back. read more

Today we purchased a new washer and dryer from Sue in the appliance department. She was by far the best appliance sales person were have ever dealt with. Sue answered every question and made our decision very easy to spend our money @ Home Depot. She provided more product knowledge than all the rest of the competitors combined. We are planning a new house in 2020 and will buy all of our appliances from Sue (SAF783). Our only disappointment is the sales slip refers to her as SAF783. I believe her name is Sue. read more

I have been coming here for a year because it is close to home and the prices are not bad. Came in today to get some supplies around a reasonable hour and asked if I could get a piece of plywood cut to fit in my car, the gentleman told me that they don't do that here. Went up to the front desk and told them the situation and told me that their is no one here to do it. Was a little frustrating, but I did need to get some other supplies. While walking through the store every isle that I needed to get to was closed because they needed to stock shelves ? I was in this store twice with my service dog along with my best friends and their service dog the day this happened Sunday January 12th 2020 from 5:00-5:34pm. Once in the morning we were there for 45 minuets and I had bought over 70$ worth of items then went home so in total there at the store for an hour and a half or an hour and 45 minutes at most all together that day, then we came back to get some more stuff we forgot and I ended up having a ptsd related breakdown and one of the staff a woman told us that we were there all day and that my dog and I had to leave the store again only there for an hour an 45 minutes at the most all day. We still had things we were going to buy but had a little set back as my service dog alerted me of an oncoming episode so I needed to sit down and the staff member came over with an attitude saying we needed to leave and tried asking questions she's legally not allowed to ask about me or my service dog which made it worse. Not to mention she only came back to apologize when she heard that we were going to sue for attempting to kick out a service dog and harassing a service dog handler which are both against federal law. So not a good experience at this store would not recommend this store location, I've had no issues with the Home Depot in De Pere or Bellevue. I'm truly disappointed that we only got an apology after we threatened to sue the place. That's pathetic read more

I don't shop often at Home Depot but there are certain things I will only buy at Home Depot. Anytime I am going to paint, I go to the Home Depot. I had the absolute best service in the paint department from Tony on Saturday! He was so friendly and knowledgable. Can't beat the service from the Home Depot paint department and they have all the supplies to get the job done at a reasonable price. The store has a good selection, but I wish they hired some people who knew what they were doing. This isn't the first time they've screwed up my order, but this time around I ordered some roller blinds and the lady who worked there completely cut the blinds too short, which I didn't find out until I got all the way home. I've always been happy with my local Home Depot store , so when my circumstances changed and I had to move to Green Bay , I found myself in need of washer and dryer. So , I figured, why not Home Depot . I purchased washer and dryer and it was delivered but my dryer could not be installed because the vent was not long enough to connect to my existing pipes. I was told that I need to get additional pipe and elbow and they will come back and do it. The kicker is that the first available date is December 20. That's almost a month after I purchased the dryer. I'm 80 years old and can not do it myself. Since I just moved to the area, I don't know anyone here well enough to ask for a favor. When I asked if they could recommend someone, they told me to google it. I asked if I can return the dryer and get someone else to deliver and install, they said no returns in appliances. I found this experience so frustrating and unsatisfactory that is why I decided to post it on yelp. all I heard is "the installers did not do anything wrong". I wasn't looking to assign blame, I was looking for a solution and I did not mind paying for it . I will take my business somewhere else. read more

This weekend i had decided i needed to upgrade my tool storage, after talking with the associates in the Wausau, Wi location i had determined that the tool box i was looking for was not available in their store, however the friendly cashier i was working with told me it was available in a few of their other locations. After about 20 minutes on hold with the east Appleton, Wi location i was transferred to a neighboring store area where the associate i was speaking to claimed he was looking at several of the item that i wanted to purchase, I replied "great I'll be there to purchase it tomorrow. When I arrived today and still could not find what i was looking for I was confronted by a manager that told me it was only available for purchase online and that i would have to go home order it and then wait until it was shipped. This just made absolutely no sense to me as it seemed like they wanted to send my business away after a fairly long trip. It seemed like employees there have no idea whats going on, I left there very unsatisfied and rather empty handed, will not be buying anything there anytime soon read more
