I ordered Windows and a Patio door from this store back on March 3rd. I paid over $14,000.00 . I was promised by Salesman that they would be installed in 4-6 weeks maybe 8 weeks latest. I was then told my contract stated (Installed by May 27th) which would be 12 weeks. Well I still don't have my Windows. Matter of Fact No one knows when, or where they are. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves attention. I ordered a Fantech Dryer Booster Fan System, and instead, Home Depot delivered a massive pallet of Philips bulbs--blocking my driveway and preventing me from parking in my garage to charge my vehicle. This happened on Tuesday. I immediately called the Keller, TX store and spoke with the manager on duty, Noar, and explained why access to my garage was critical. He said he would try to send someone to remove the pallet. That never happened. By Wednesday night, I called the customer care center and spoke to Victoria (ID# 38387). She constantly cut me off, showed no empathy, and told me no one would come until Thursday. I asked to speak with a supervisor due to the urgency of my situation--not being able to charge my vehicle for work--and was told no one would be available. It's now been two full days, and the pallet is still sitting in my driveway. The lack of accountability and follow-through from both the store and customer service is honestly appalling. I didn't make the mistake--they did. Yet no one seems to care or is taking action to correct it. This is not the level of service I expect from a company like Home Depot, and unless this is resolved quickly, I won't be shopping here again. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in The Home Depot for an awful experience I had with one of their The Home Depot Pro Contractors. I was looking for someone to put up Christmas Lights for my family and I so that they would hang outside on the roof of our house the entire month of December. The contractor that reached out and I agreed to a price of $600, which was $800 until I negotiated it down a bit. The contractor said it would be a $400 deposit and $200 after he put up the lights. I asked if we could pay him the $200 after he took down the lights, but per his policy, he wasn't able to accommodate my request. He said that he wanted to earn my future business and that I'd should TRUST him! Once I finally had an opportunity to meet the contractor, he seemed like a straightforward guy, and a family guy, as he brought along his 2 boys with him to assist. Boy was I wrong! Did I mention the lights we're supposed to be hanging for the entire month of December?? After Christmas, I hit up the contractor to schedule a time when he was going to take down the nights. He initially said he wouldn't be available until the Monday after New Year's. That didn't happen because he said he got called into work. We then agreed that he'd come out the following week, but he that didn't happen because he said his wife gave birth to their child. He said that he'd be able to make it out sometime during the evening of the following week. That never happened, so I hit him up again a couple weeks later, as I was trying to be considerate of the birth of his new child. He then responded saying that he'd be by the following Saturday, but as it got later in the day, he still never showed up. I then reached out to see what the issue was, but no response. I have now had the Christmas Lights up a month LONGER then I had planned on having them up. I would get up and take them down myself, however I have a two story home and I'm not putting my life on the line for a no good lying idiot! I will NEVER TRUST STRANGERS again! I'm going to break from the pack and throw five stars at Home Depot because I've never had a negative experience here, and The Home Depot is SUCH a go-to for the things I go there for, I can't think of a reason to ding them, especially this location. Does anyone *not* go to Home Depot? Maybe you're a Lowe's person, or you have one of those mom and pop local hardware stores near you that provides nostalgia and that special brand of personal service. But, here in the burbs where there is literally a Home Depot every few miles in all directions, I have been going to the closest one because they have absolutely everything I need. Until recently. The one thing that pushes this store slightly ahead of the other two at which I can conveniently shop is that if the others are out of *anything*, this location will have it in stock. I don't know if that has to do with lower volume, better inventory management, or something else. But, It's happened three times in the past two weeks. So, I've just decided I'll go here first. It's not hard to find someone when you need them here. I've started using the website, which now provides aisle and bin location for any item, stock count, and even a map of the store to show you where it's located. So much better than "trying to find an orange apron" when the store is busy. Everyone is friendly, 99% of people have Covid face protection, returns are easy, and we've had offers to help load our car up with fence materials and other heavy items. We do light DIY home projects and landscaping. Lowe's will occasionally draw us away with a sale (like the recent 5 bags of Scot's mulch for $10), but generally has higher prices. If I need chain oil, potting soil, tools, paint, shower heads, attic decking, something new for the garden, this is where we go! read more

Their Carpet Installers, Cooper Installations, refused to take away my old carpet as paid for and was in my contract, citing its condition. However, I later noticed their van was too full to haul it away, so it was quite apparent they made that decision prior to arrival. I suspect that's their common practice and it's causing me to hire a service to haul away what I already paid for. Highly dishonest! The Keller Home Depot store manager, Sheri, was rude, combative and not helpful at all. Buyer Beware when buying carpet at Home Depot. When I got here the entire garden center looked shinny and brand new! Not much product to buy though... However after talking to people there I was just a day too early! This location has gone through a complete new garden remodel. More tables, wider isles, more hanging basket racks... in general a much improved look! The product I wAs told is all shipping in fresh this week. This will be the place to go in town and check it out! Their poinsettias were well maintained and they had a good selection of them. The main reason I hate going to this Home Depot is because of the terrible customer service. I prefer Lowe's. Lowes team are always there waiting to serve and help others find what they are looking for. This Home Depot everyone hides, or blows you off. Disappointed. Ryobi was running a special that offered a free battery with a tool purchase. Although the sale apparently ended on Sat the sign was still up on Sun at North Richland Hills. NRH was willing to honor the sale and give the battery but didn't have any batteries in stock (the guy showed me the screen) He looked up other locations that had batteries which lead me to Keller. The Keller store refused to honor the sale for another store since their sign was down. Although not an expensive sell. Home Depot still lost out. read more

People seem to expect too much from a vixen box chain like Home Depot. While there are employees the store is big and help is hard to find. And even if you find help they have to call somebody to help you most of the time. Navigating through the store is tough if you are not a DIY regular. For the most part everything is easy to find. Home Depot is the type of place you would go to in order to save a little money and walk the isles by yourself. I always shop at Home Depot and today my husband and i went there to purchase an exterior door and here are the events that occurred: * there was no one in the door dept to assist us. We were looking at 2 different doors and there was a forklift blocking the doors. My husband attempted to move the forklift with no success * a Home Depot associate finally came around and we informed him that we needed the forklift moved so we can look at the door. He did move the forklift and when we asked him questions about the door he said that he didn't have the answer and would not be able to help us. He then walked off without even saying that he will find someone to assist us regarding the door. * We then went to leave and at the front entrance i stopped another Home Depot associate and asked him if there was a manager for doors and explained what happened. He said that he didn't know but will call to see if someone will come and assist us. At that point i told him that i was not going back to the door section to just wait to see if someone comes to assist us or not. * We then went to the customer service desk and i informed them that i had a complaint and the lady at the desk told us that she didn't want to hear it. At that point i just threw my hands up and said ok and walked out the door. We went to our vehicle and i was so angry over the situation that occurred we called the Home Depot from the parking lot and asked for the store manager and explained to him what all occurred and all we wanted to do was choose and buy a door. And really upset that someone that is at the customer service dept would even say what they did to a consumer that was upset and said they had a complaint. Home Depot always has everything I need and more. This location is convenient for me and the workers here are friendly and professional. The only issue I encounter sometimes is that it's hard to track down a worker. But once I do, they provide great help and are very knowledgeable. Love the gift card choices they have, especially during the holidays. They sell food outside of the exit that always smells great and the plus is that they give military discount. read more

The failed service at both the store and corporate level has forced me to shop exclusively at Lowe's now. I've been shopping at HD (not necessarily at this store) for quite awhile now. I've easily spent over $20K. One day in June 2018 I purchased several items totaling approx. $4K and a pergola that was on sale. The display ended up being the only one left and I was told it was possible to have it dismantled and boxed for pickup the following day. The following day I show up to pick up the expected dismantled pergola with a friend and his truck and the pergola is still on display and was never dismantled! I complaint to customer service who say they will need an hour to dismantle it. I leave with the items I purchased the day before but by the time I get done my friend and his truck are no longer available. I return to the store to rent a HD truck that is in parking lot and they tell me they can't find the keys for it. Frustrated, I tell them I will return the following day with a rental truck. I show up with a rental truck the following day and finally get my pergola, but on the way home I realize they never gave me the nuts and bolts to assemble the pergola. I call the store customer service inquiring about the hardware and no one knows where it is so I ask to speak to Steven the manager. He states he will find them and call me back. He does indeed call me back a short while later stating he had found the hardware for me to pick up. Because it is already late in the day, I have to return the following day to pick it up. The following day I pick up the hardware and also complain to HD corporate asking for a reimbursement of my rental truck and compensation for the time and fuel spent in driving back and forth to the store needlessly so many times. After not hearing from them for a couple of weeks I contact HD corporate again. I get a voicemail from Steven the manager at HD Keller to call him about the complaint. I call him back and leave a message and I have not heard from him or corporate back. I'm done with Home Depot. Unless they contact me to remedy this, I will take all of my business to Lowe's from now on. read more

Picture it: it's Sunday morning (2/17/19), and I decided to shop for a new front door and screen door. I browsed the doors for 20 minutes, and the young man sitting at the desk never says a word (I'm the only customer in the area). After I've made my selections (by myself), I approach the guy at the desk to ask some "next step" question. He greets me with "did you need some help?". I ask if they have a list of preferred contractors for doors, and he answers (with a weird tone) "no, we have our own". I then ask for a price range for installation, to which he responds "it depends, I can't say without a consultation". I respond "oh! ok, how do I schedule one of those?", and he rushes through the details "it's $35 for the visit, and that's a credit towards a purchase". I ask if he can give me a price range for a standard install for a standard size door, and he tells me "that's impossible.... it could be anywhere from $600 to $6000, they have to schedule an inspection with Ft. Worth, and there's a lot to consider...". I then say "ok, thank you" and I walk away. $600 minimum to hang a door? Summary: I will not beg you to take my money. I hate to do this but I am Beyond pissed! The install team sent by HD just left my home having NOT done the job we paid almost 10k for! The laminate flooring was done TWO WEEKS ago and our house had to be re-ripped up for an installation of carpet and all of a sudden we are arguing about closet areas we paid for, the condition of the house (we did fail to move a few things but it's TWO STORIES! Start on one of them!) excuse after excuse and we are two full time working parents with kids learning remotely- we don't have time or patience to rework crap Bc they can't work with Home Depot.
