Naomi an Asian lady in customer service yelled at me for going in with a return and having shopped before returning some items I bought. She asked other employees if they saw me walk in and making a scene and making me look like a thief. I told her is my receipt not good enough? She said no, you never know because people are bad. I asked her if she assumed I made counterfeit receipts and she didn't directly answer me. She came across as aggressive and belittled me in front of other customers. She's a complete representation of customer service and she's garbage. It's unfortunate that I was almost a daily customer. It's a great thing that lowes is right down the street. read more

Went in today to get a Father's Day gift for my husband. Shortly after getting there I was greeted by Doug. I was disappointed because the exact blower that my husband wanted was discontinued and no longer available. Doug ran to grab a computer to help me locate another store that had the inventory. Another associate looked at the specs with me and helped me find one that was comparable. Right about the time I decided, Doug came back and asked me to follow him. He took me to the front Ryobi section and showed me a better deal they were running where I'd get more bang for my buck! Doug took the time to ask questions and understand my needs and found me the best deal - one better than I thought existed! It made my day knowing that my husband will get a great Father's Day gift and that this associate took the time to not only know the promotions, but explain to me why it was the best option for me. After a ridiculous situation where the scratch-away part of a $200 gift card peeled off and basically rendered the card useless, Tami in customer service put some mad McGyver skills to work and was able to get the PIN from the part that came off. Then, when haul away was left off our order for a kaput dryer, she managed to fix the situation, right as the store was closing and she was probably very tired of seeing us - again. She even called the next day to confirm that she'd made all of the notes on our delivery she said she was going to make. She was funny and put us at ease. I can't imagine how challenging the customer service desk must be, but Tami is uniquely suited for it. Easily some of the best customer service I've experienced in ages. read more

This Home Depot was pretty much my second home while I was moving to Keller. They have the BEST customer service. They cut wood for free. Everything is well organized and clean. However, I will say that sometimes its hard to find an associate but once you do, they go above and beyond to help. read more

I recently went to Home Depot off of 377 with the intention of looking at ranges and dishwashers, and doing price comparison with other stores. I have purchased appliances from this location in the past, with great service, but still thought I should consider all my options. That was until I met my customer service representative, Stephen. He was so knowledgeable and understanding of my needs and price limitations. He literally made me feel like he was giving the advice he would give to his daughter. He spent at least an hour going through options in store, as well as, online. I knew I was in good hands with him, in addition to the fact that I had many other great experiences at this location I didn't need to look elsewhere. I would reccomend this location to anyone who has appliance needs, and wants service like Stephen provides! read more

Meh. I thought HD prided itself on the customer experience. I remember walking into AZ locations all over and being hounded by service-happy employees just dying to point you in the right direction or talk you through a DIY project. Not this location. The customer service desk was slow, slow, slow. I stood and waited for help while one person was tied up with another customer- BUT there were 2 other workers (in their orange aprons) standing not 4 feet away socializing. I waited nearly 20 minutes for help from the one lady without anyone else offering to help. I can drive the extra 5 minutes and visit Lowes next time. Oh well. read more

I go to the burleson location regularly and am always pleased with my service experience. I do some basic remodeling work and small contracting jobs. I do have a pro account with Home Depot. I shop at both Home Depot and Lowes. This review is not a slam on the business itself. I like what the competition provides the customer with; therefore, I like both businesses. Unfortunately, this location is simply unacceptable. I rented a truck from this store that had a 75 minute time limit. They rang it up. Several minutes later they rang up all my purchases. Then told me the truck is somewhere in the parking lot. After spending a few minutes finding it on the far side of the lot, I had to load up 300 dollars worth of lumber myself. I then unloaded at my site and brought it back. I stood in line at the checkout until the customer service rep decided to call me up and check in the truck. I ended up spending about 13 dollars more because when she finally scanned me in I was now at 80 minutes. Had she deducted the time for checking out all my purchases, finding and getting the truck, and standing there waiting for her -- Also note, there was no line; I was the only customer-- then I would have been at about 70 minutes. Additionally, Home Depot advertises a 10% military discount. My discount on over 300 dollars amounted to $2.43. How is that 10%? When asked about that, the rep shrugged her shoulders. As well, they were out of the timber for five items I needed. The lumber guy hooked me up with a voucher to get the longer boards at the price of the shorter boards. The rep took the note and charged me full price regardless. And then never fixed it when I pointed it out. As a safety violation I would also point out this store does cuts on treated wood. I confronted the lumber guy about it and was informed management directs them not to use gloves and to cut treated wood in the store itself for customers. I would now point out that the lumber section itself has signs warning customers about the arsenic and other chemicals used to treat the wood that are released into the air with each cut. The sign they themselves post, directs to use gloves, mask, and open air environment. Other stores comply with federally EPA mandated requirements since treated lumber and the pesticides it releases are shown to cause cancer, neural problems, and sometimes death. Example, the burleson Home Depot will not cut in the store. Neither will any Lowes I have been to. This store is exposing their employees daily and customers to these harmful chemicals as it recirculates in the HVAC system. I do not recommend ever going to this store. read more

I bought five 2x4s, and needed them cut - a couple to 48 inches, others to 40 and a few to 24. all were cut improperly and at varying lengths because the older gentlemen in lumber didn't bother to buttress the 2x4s against a backing at the end of the saw to make sure he had them measured exactly. I was there with my infant who was crying so I had to head out. Store manager "Brandy" says I can bring them back and she will make sure they are cut to size. We will see. Now I have to make another trip back? Was going to buy some ceiling fans - now will get them at Lowe's. read more

Delivery is free with purchase and delivery was quick and easy, less than 20 minutes. Had a blinds company come to my house. Arrived 30 min late and then rushed me through the process of choosing the correct blind. She didn't even have any samples to leave and seemed bothered when I asked if I could get one?!? After being personally assaulted by the blinds lady I headed to Lowe's and Home Depot. Ann was so helpful at Lowe's but they had no books to check out. Was looking at Home Depot when Craig, the guy who helped me pick out carpet awhile ago, came by and asked if I needed help. I found a book filled with the perfect bamboo blinds I was ready to take pics of when he tells me to go ahead and take it home. So now I don't have to order a zillion samples and I get to see the bigger swatches in the color and comfort of my own home. My what a better world if would be with more Craigs! Horrible store!! MOD named Casey was extremely rude and absolutely unprofessional!! Appliance sales people are only interested in selling high commission items even at expense of customers!! Never shopping at this Home Depot location again!! Save yourself aggression and accusations by Casey... Shop anywhere else!! Be aware that major appliances are NOT sold by Home Depot and they will not honor any type of return or exchange!!! They will pawn you off on the manufacturer rather than provide any assistance. They will avoid this fact when you make a purchase and then completely refuse to help if any issues arise. I went in for a simple piece of patch Sheetrock that needed to be cut. Two different people said they would "call" someone in lumber. Waited 15 minutes at the front, then was told to " meet the guy way in the back at cutting table". Waited there another 15 minutes tugging around a lumber cart all over the place. Finally just left. On the way out the door the guy pops up out of nowhere and says are you the guy waiting on Sheetrock. I said I was 30 minutes ago now I'm on my way to Lowes. I can't stand a company who loves to claim they hire so many veterans a year but when you as a veteran call about a job and more specifically this location because 1) the hr lady doesn't know how to return calls from this location 2) because online they are clearly hiring for certain positions or at least their career page claims 3) then their assistant manager is rude about it when you ask her that you thought they were all about hiring veterans and she replies with "Because you're a veteran doesn't mean you're guaranteed a job" then why promote it so heavily on your career page like you guys really care about veterans. It's not like it takes rocket science to work there. Most companies that are about veterans will stop the interview and hire you on the spot like sears, Lowe's and even wal mart. Buyers, beware and inform yourself here before purchasing appliances through the Home Depot at the Keller location. Our experience started off just fine. We found some great Black Friday deals online and with the help of two friendly associates, purchased an entire kitchen set November 18, 2016. We were given an install date of December 3rd, and a third party electrician came out to measure and confirm our appliances would fit. Our December 3rd install date would stand. Fast forward to the big, exciting day we would get our new appliances. Two nice men show up in a moving van with all of our appliances and inform us that they will only be installing the refrigerator and dishwasher, the electrician will have to do the rest. That's when the confusion set in. They go on to tell me that they don't have anything to do with that install and shake their heads in disappointment when we realize that the Keller associates did not explain the process with the third party electrician. A process that we still don't understand. They tell me that this is a common occurrence. Home Depot drops the ball and the customer is left to figure things out/ track down the third party company and sometimes take their frustrations out with them. In fact, one man commented, "You are being so nice about this." I quickly called the Home Depot to resolve the issue. They tell us it's odd, they need to reach out to Keller management, they're not sure what happened and not to worry, things will be resolved by Monday. Flash forward to today, 5 days after the install date. No call backs from Marc in the "resolutions department", no call from the electrician which was to happen within 48 hours. Finally, today, I decide to hire my own electrician who can come out TOMORROW! Yay! I call Ryan, appliances manager at the Keller Home Depot and tell him we'd like a refund of the $500 we put down for the install. He simply says, "Okay. I'll do that now and send to your email." ZERO concern, ZERO apologies, ZERO emotion, just Okay... How disappointing. And I'd like to mention we were extremely polite and stayed calm and objective throughout this ordeal. I couldn't be more disappointed in that phone call alone and the entire process was frankly, exhausting. I'm hoping that we can get that $69 measurement fee back. It's the LEAST they could do. I asked for the Assistant Manager twice, then had to threaten to leave before the guy comes from the back and acts like I'm the issue(?) I did wait 45 minutes for help that only took 3 minutes of your time. I'm sorry if I seemed demanding as I was just trying to spend money in your store which if I'm correct, increases your 401k stock value. By the way, I turned down the Customer satisfaction 10% discount when I checked out with tonight's purchase of $400.00 for this reason; I ask for Customer Service! I pay more for customer Service! Two suggestions Steve; Apply for the Mangers position of receiving so customers don't bother you or maybe remind all staff that are working their shift to assign someone to cover their area when they go to lunch. I've been here maybe 3 times in the last 6 months trying to make a fairly large purchase. Each time the service reps were "busy" or "all with other people". One guy that had no customers & was just standing around said he "couldn't help; its that guy over there". Then the "guy over there" was "too busy right now". Really?? I left & went to Lowe's where I found several eager people ready to help & I spent my money there. After today, I've given up in this location. I would run not walk if you are buying an appliance. Our refrigerator was delivered damaged and I spent 3 hours at Home Depot to try to get another one delivered quickly. I was then told I would have the damaged one delivered the following morning only to find out I will not get it until the afternoon. A replacement is supposed to be delivered in a week but who knows how that will go. 2 days worth of headaches and my time spent is totally unjustified. The salesperson and the manager lied to me which tells me they do not care about the customer. I will never go back! read more

Completely disappointment with this Home Depot. It has been 7 weeks since we purchased our dishwasher from them. It took a week for the installer to come to our house. As soon as he walked in, he said he could not install it and walked out the door. Then we noticed that the door was broken on the dishwasher. We called Home Depot, it took them another week to get us a new dishwasher. The new installer, installed the dishwasher no problem. Less than 2 weeks later the dishwasher stopped draining water. We called Home Depot, they had us call GE. It took GE another week to get someone to our home to look at the dishwasher. He found that the installer installed the dishwasher wrong, one of the screws broke off and went in to the motor. He did not have a new motor on his truck so it would have to be ordered. He informed us it would take a week. That was two weeks ago and I still can not get ANYONE to tell me when our dishwasher will be fixed. I have to call them everyday, most times dont get to talk to anyone or get a call back. When I finally talk to someone they say they dont have an answer and will have to call me back with one.
