I came in for a dozen two by fours cause I was running low and have we projects on our little farm. I generally keep enough. I don't have to do this on the weekend.. upon checkout with a dozen two by fours no one knew how to use an agricultural tax exempt card. so three people 15 minutes later one supervisor Deborah one manager Deonte. They finally had a trick the system cause none of them knew how to use an agricultural gate card tax exempt. -I think Deonte and he just turned and walked off not sorry for the inconvenience not have a nice day not you're welcome nothing. The young girl and the surprise Deborah's were still there. I paid for my purchase. I told them thank you wish them a nice day and neither one of them responded to me at all. I told him that they all need to work on the customer service skills and they just looked at me like a deer in headlights unbelievable how you can go from a registered girl to a supervisor to a floor manager and not one person can say thank you for your business respond to a thank you or even sorry for the convenience or wish you a nice day Rude, discourteous, and not 1 ounce of common sense or customer service skills I did not have to do this project this weekend. I have gone there twice and both times the items they said they had in stock was confirmed by associates were not in stock and didn't bother trying harder. I bought flooring worth $1000 one had something written on with a blue pen it's underneath the coat so you can take it out. I called them spoke with the manager he asked me why I installed it. Because I trusted Home Depot to have quality they don't. Ryobi leaf blower 2 cycle broke and still had warranty. I took it to Home Depot. They want $30 for diagnostic and possibly $70-$100 for repair. Ryobi products does not cover their warranty. I trashed all of their tools from my house. I spent $5k-$20k here on a 1 year calendar I quit going there. It's a shame we have a suite right next to Home Depot at the mercedez Benz stadium I would never conversation with them knowing they treat customers like this. read more

Let's just start with HD customer service... it is beyond HORRID!! The online order and pick up is a disaster. They send you an email and text saying your online order is ready for pick up. Then when you get there I had two associates tell me oh that's not ready. Then they can't explain to me why I got an alert that my order was ready. Flat out rude from step one Today I go to get deck stain and get home to only find that the paint associate never mixed the color in. We bought the carpet from Home Depot and it has free installation included. We ended up spending more than one month in our living room :((( since the installers we not able to install it in time (they came several times and they always had shortage of something - of time, of carpet...) and the carpet had very strong chemical oder. On the last day installers scratched our new engineering floor. I filed the complain, but got the respond that they did nothing wrong. read more

Back in February of this year (2022), I ordered a storm door online because the one I wanted wasn't available at the Lawrenceville store (I'll try Lowes next time). I was told on the website form that the door would be shipped and received by April 5th. Quite a wait, but okay. Finally, on April 5th, I got an email notification that it was here. I went to the store on the 10th which was the earliest I could get there with a van. When I went to the pickup counter, I was told that the door I paid for and waited for had been shipped back. Why? I don't know. Why would you ship back a paid-for item? They claim I got a bunch of emails and calls. One of them showed me her computer screen. I received none of those--just the message on the 5th. The two young ladies at the counter weren't good at explaining, and worse, they didn't seem to care. I mean, they REALLY didn't care. I was told I had been refunded and would have to reorder the door and now I'm being told it will be here on May 17th. We'll see. My order tracker page doesn't seem to be working. After this, I won't be doing any online orders any more from Home Depot. read more

From the time I walked in I was greeted with stellar customer service from Latoya in the water service unit department she was so genuine and nice. She even assisted me with the granite countertops and then I met the store manager Harvey who was briefly returning from a break who jumped right in to assist me. I also encountered Russ in the flooring department who was a huge help showing me a variety of ideas for my space. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone with commercial or home buying needs. The staff and manager was super friendly and I felt great and more knowledgeable in making my decisions for my work space. Thanks a bunch guys you made me day amazing! read more

I checked out 3 times and she was on all 3 registers.. got concrete and she check us out, got nails at a different register and she was there too.. went outside to get potting soils and she was out there too.. soils bags had holds in them so she went and got someone with tapes to seal them up and she is very nice and friendly have really good customer service skills.. ALL A-BLOOM Although I live in Alpharetta, I traveled to this location in order to find a store that is better stocked. Also, I was interested in finding a "resource", (someone who knows plants and can understand what you want just by having it described to them), not just an employee. This store was so well-stocked that I was overwhelmed by all the options. Oh I am so not complaining because this is a good problem to have. I just decided to take pictures of everything I liked so that I could discuss things with my husband and come up with a specific plan for the garden. Although it was busy, I was able to grab someone to ask about a specific, (difficult to find plant) which they carry. She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to tell me that it was temporarily out but will be stocked again. The other garden centers I had visited just couldn't give me this basic information because they were just cashiers without the requisite knowledge that goes along with working in a garden center. Anyway the flowers were absolutely beautiful, healthy, colorful and varied. I will definitely be returning to this location this weekend, (super early), to complete my spring shopping! read more

Home Depot is the last place I care to shop at for various reasons. Sometimes, you have no choice but to have to go into Home Depot to get that hard to find item, you simply cannot find elsewhere. Trying to find someone in Home Depot, to help you find anything, is next to impossible. The only people who care to acknowledge you, are those trying to solicit services or pushing you to apply for Home Depot cards, the other employees simply do not care to help assist you. Even our neighbor, who doesn't acknowledge us, who happens to work at this location, also chooses to ignore us, when she see's us on occasion shopping at the Home Depot. There are so many people who are out of work, who would LOVE to have a job, who would do a much better job, then the current employees at Home Depot. Home Depot has hired these employees for a reason, yet they forget to do the job they were hired to do. Home Depots employees should be bending over backwards to assist customers when they are shopping in the store. Even a simple "Hello, how are you doing, is there anything I can help you find? Is this so hard to do? I guess it is for Home Depot employees. I prefer shopping at Lowes. Customer service is way much better. Maybe Home Depot should take some notes and train their employees customer service. read more

12/26/12 approximately 3pm. Eric in the Hardware department was very helpful. He took the time to walk us around to find our "hard to find" items. We were looking for plastic window coverings and also a specialized attachment for our Husky Air Tools. Eric also showed us how to attach the parts on our air gun. I would have given Home Depot a Five Star review if we would have gotten as good of service from the three other people we spoke to on our quest for products. On the other hand I would have given Home Depot a 2 Star rating if Eric wasn't as helpful as he was. So thank you Eric for making our shopping experience a good one! read more

I bought a water heater from Home Depot/Lawrenceville. They had Bynum Plumbing install the unit. Bynum installed the unit incorrectly. My basement was flooded. I called Bynum Plumbing to come back and fix it. They fixed the water heater - which they installed improperly. Leaving me with a flooded basement. Neither Bynum Plumbing or Home Depot took responsibility for the flooded basement - despite a second opinion from another plumber. Poor service and very poor customer service. I have not been back to Home Depot since, don't buy appliances from Home Depot if you are expecting them to guarantee their work. read more

It seems the people at the customer service desk are CLUELESS!!!! I purchased a new grill that had a sign the said FREE DELIVERY and yet first the lady still tried to charge us for it. She also told us we would get a call the day before delivery giving us a window of when it will get here and that NEVER happened. I call and ask them about it and I am told they do not call the day before. I am also told my delivery window is 6 AM-8 PM which is a long time to have to wait. I am also told that if I wanted a shorter window I would have had to pay $20. I have had many things delivered and ALWAYS was given a 3-hour window and call the day before. RENTER BEWARE!! Rented generator for parade. The pull cord broke on second attempt to start. I actually rented another from a Home Depot close to the parade route. Upon returning the poorly maintained generator the staff at the Lawrenceville highway location was not helpful. They gave me. Excuses ranged from me from being an hour late, not calling ending with the threat that I should buy the generator outright since they stated that I broke it. When asked to show me in the contract that I needed to call when the generator completely breaks was written in the contract they said they couldn't print a new one. read more

And when we seek assistance with finding something, we're always helped. We've even had team members walk us through the store to make sure we had all we needed for what we were currently working on. We've also had team members give us there reviews on products that we were not familiar with. I like that the staff know there products and what they are selling. Ordered a water filter to pick up in store. i coulda had sent to my door 4 days faster by amazon for exact same price but thought i would save the packaging and therefore the planet. Turns out the amount of packaging was beyond ridiculous anyway. It even took a day longer than they estimated (six days total). Grrr. When i tracked the package i found it started in the state i live, was then sent to a neighboring state where it sat for two days then took three more days to get sent back to the state i live in and then an extra day over promised delivery date to get to the store for me to pick up. They sent me an email saying it was in store but they had already closed. What bs. Why bother? Never again. read more

Here's what happened... I came here for two items; a dryer and a thermostat. I called beforehand and spoke to their service department to ask if they price matched and beat the competitors by 10%. The lady working in the front which I believe her name was Teresa stated that they do this. She then transferred me to a nice gentleman name Jim who was able to check that they had my items in store. So we drove to Home Depot, waited for Jim and he stated that in order for us to receive the 10% off, we would need to go back to the service desk for approval. Okay... At this point no big deal. I understand certain companies have certain protocols and there are orders that have to be override before a transaction can be made. This is very typical and I understood this concept fine. Once we got back to the service desk, we were then helped by another lady. As she looked up the prices on Lowes website and tried to ring us up, she stated that only one of the items would be eligible for the discount. She was unsure and asked several people until we finally spoke with the manager who advised that we can get both items discounted. At this point... We've been dealing with this same situation for nearly an hour. We spent another 30 or so minutes while the service department figured out how to correctly discount the items. The service that we received today was completely ridiculous and could have been avoided if we were informed correctly in the first place. It appears that there were a lot of conflict and unsure-ness between the employees at this store. One person will tell you something different from the other. The employees here need to be educated properly on the whole price match policy so that issues like this can be prevented in the future. As a consumer, the last thing I want to do is wait around while the employees figure out what is going on. This swayed my customer loyalty towards Home Depot and wished that I would have driven a little further to Lowes. read more

As you all know this is a do it yourself store that has everything you need for the new kitchen, bathroom, up to the toilets. I always come here especially when it's time to change my AC filters for the house which is normally every 3 months. Granted some things are only available online to order but that's not very much. The holiday season is upon us and I just want to warn people if you are considering purchasing a washer from this company that you look elsewhere. I purchased a washer and dryer from them in July. I used their installers who totally botched the job. The washer leaked and since utility room is on second floor it flooded my kitchen! I had to hire a plumber to come out and stop the leak and install the washer so that it could be used without water running down through ceiling. I now have a hole in wall behind washer and HUGE hole in kitchen ceiling and STILL fighting with this company to repair the damage. Save yourself the headache and expense and go elsewhere! read more

I am in the process of rehabbing a rental property in the area and have been to this location a lot lately. There's another location and a Lowe's in Suwanee, which is closer for me. However, this store is outstanding and worth the extra drive. Not a bad attitude anywhere and everyone is glad to help. Every employee from the entrance to the exit is outstanding. As someone that is in the rental property business, I go to a lot of home improvement stores and often the experience is not so great. This location goes above and beyond. The paint department is especially talented. Susan did a great job of matching some paint today, which will come in handy on a 16' high stairwell. I look forward to finishing the stairwell in an hour instead of a day. Keep it up guys! read more

They gave me the wrong color and blamed me for their mistake when this could have easily been prevented had the paint department had more educated employees in the paint area. When asking questions they make you feel stupid and when confused they do not offer friendly info. Went to the Home Depot off of Old Peachtree and they told me that I was their 3rd customer that day who received terrible service from the same Home Depot and paint department in Lawrenceville Suwanee and gave me 10% off for a mistake that this store made. So Lets talk Home Depot/Delta mechanical and SEARS.My hot water heater started leaking went into HD store ordered install .Man shows up next day, can barely speak English, says HWHeater want fit we need to cut wall out you need to reschedule. called main office no other solutions. I cancel order with HD. Called Lowe's on hold 10 mins. hung up and called Sears greeted nicely very helpful and told my story . Sales person was great had a solution and the HWheater was on sale she went one step further she made sure the installer had the HWHeater in stock so they wouldn't have to wait for store to open as to delay install however installer never called the night before, called sears back they were nice but gave me run a round about why installer did not show up.I was also told Sears employees dont have a way to check the stock of their installers.They were sorry for experence.Im sorry for my experence too!..It appears they all tell you what you want to hear to sign you up.had to hire a real plumber. read more
