The water line between the street and my house sprung a leak that I discovered about 3PM in the…read moreafternoon. Grabbed my shovel and started following the water and about four foot down found the water line that was leaking. Over the next 24 hours I made four trips to HD and two trips to Lowes trying to get the fittings and pipe I need to repair it and finally cobbled something together about ten PM at night but it was a kludgy fix and only lasted for about 30 minutes before it sprang a leak too. The next morning I started searching on internet for one inch CPVC pipe which is what I needed to make a proper repair. Both Lowes and Home Depot websites said they had it but I was at one HD and two Lowes and none of them had ANY CPVC pipe. Internet said Handy Ace Hardware had some so I drove there. It is not a huge place (from the outside) but inside it is packed with tall shelving units, closely spaced, and together with the walls has much more stock and most importantly SELECTION than most HD or Lws!! Walked out of Handy Ace about 30 minutes later with a 10 foot length of 1" CVPC pipe and several right angle fittings and couplers and headed home to make the proper (and final) repair. This is a classic hardware store like the best ones I remember from years back before the big box stores forced most of them out of business. Yes, they are not cheap, but not horribly expensive either and had I gotten to Handy the evening before my water main leak ordeal would have been much shorter and less frustrating. As we are completing the transaction she radioed back to the stockroom to have the unit brought out to my truck. Before I could turn the associate thanked me for my business, shook my hand, and told me to have a great day. As I put my wallet away and turned toward the exit I ran into the gentleman who was pushing out the large toolbox on a pallet jack. He followed me out and we loaded the giant box into the back of my pickup in less than a minute. From arrival to departure I spent less than 10 minutes and was teated like a valued customer the entire time. The staff was so friendly and helpful that it left an impression on me that will not soon be forgotten. Those employees may have been having a normal day at Harbor Freight but their attitude and ethic started my day in the most positive way!

Chloe Parker, Customer Service Liaison, reached out to me and was pleasant, informative, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. She served as a point of contact and helped ensure my concerns were addressed. I was then connected with Jared, who took my concerns seriously and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. He drove approximately an hour and a half to meet with me at the location where my vehicle had been serviced. After test-driving my vehicle, he immediately recognized there was still a problem. At first, I will admit that I felt like he was defending his team. However, as we continued working through the situation, I realized that Jared was focused on safety, doing the right thing, and finding a fair solution. He approached the situation with patience, professionalism, and genuine concern. After I had already spent approximately $1,500 and my vehicle still wasn't operating properly, Jared conducted his own assessment, found the necessary part at a price I could afford, and did not charge me labor for the repair. Most importantly, he personally completed the repair to help rebuild the trust that had been lost. Within a few hours, my vehicle was repaired and is now riding great. I would also like to recognize the entire team. Everyone I interacted with was respectful, courteous, and professional. I can in for my tire rotation and balance and I have custom tires so I can only go to them. I went back in to ask the lady behind the counter if this can be removed with good off she said she believe it can. I told her I didn't like that they left it and that was the end of the conversation. You would think they would remove the old glue after moving the balance. Also their prices are crazy ridiculous I got a quote for customer shock replacement and they charged over double for the parts and more hours of labor than needed. So I did not get the service done by them. Which is to bad the one in McDonough installed my original lift kit and they did great. I hate to have to go to someone else but their prices are more reasonable and they are closer to my house so I guess that was a sign to move on from tire south.

I was sold the wrong parts to service my own equipment -- that alone tells you everything about their attention to detail. I brought my machine back in to have them correct it, and at the same time asked them to address a hydraulic leak. Picked it up... still leaking. So what exactly did I pay for? It gets worse. They serviced my hedge trimmer and told me I had until Saturday to pick it up. I show up on Saturday -- and it's gone. Missing. No explanation, no accountability, no effort to resolve it. Just nothing. That's completely unacceptable. The bigger issue is the complete lack of professionalism and respect. After multiple bad experiences, I returned to drop my mower off again and voiced my concerns. Instead of trying to fix anything, I was told -- verbatim -- to "get your mower and get out," along with profanity. That's not customer service. That's a business that has completely lost control. Between wrong parts, incomplete repairs, missing equipment, and outright disrespect, this is NOT the same place it used to be. I wouldn't trust them with anything at this point. See you tomorrow lol you have no idea what I have in store for you guys - you cursed at the wrong person. The young lady who greeted me was very nice, and helped me get my lawn mower out of my car, which I didn't expect her to do. She had very nice nails, and if my nails looked that good, I wouldn't be touching someone's dirty mower, but she had no problem with it. I took a very short time to replace my blade so I didn't spend much time in the showroom. But what I was able to see I appreciated - spare parts and new equipment all neatly displayed. Once my mower was ready a young man helped me reload my mower into my trunk. Again, I didn't expect any help. That they did this means a lot because not a lot of places help out anymore. This place gets busy because when I was there, 2 people came in and as I was leaving, 2 more were coming. This was about 10:30am on a Saturday morning. Plan accordingly. I had a good experience and would definitely go back to Turf Machine for another service.
