I went to this Home Depot as it was the closest now to where I'm currently living. I've been an avid HD fan and customer for 4 decades!! I didn't find my blinds in stock to see if they actually look as good in person as on the site, and I left my info with the cabinet guy to help price 2 reasonably simple base cabinets for an island. I went home and ordered my blinds hoping for the best. Today, after a couple back and forths with emails I received the quote for my 2 base cabinets....and I quote: "Apron front sink cabinets only come in 36 inch wide. $1950.00 + tax Standard sink cabinet comes in 36, 39 and 42 inch wide. $2100.00 + tax" With that reply I'll never, ever, whichever is longer, step into that HD again. I wrote a check for 10,000.00 for material to build a deck. They cashed the check electronically to begin with. Then 3 days later they sent it through again, cashed the check and pulled out an additional 10,000.00! So 20,000.00 was pulled out of my checking account! .... Talked to manager he did nothing. Was going to get back to me, and he didn't. Home Depot could care less! I am still fighting the dispute on my own through my bank!!!! Unreal. Never shop this store. read more

I've shopped many Home Depot stores and this one has the nicest and most helpful employees I've ever encountered. We ordered chairs online they arrived two weeks earlier than expected, note their efficient as well, and when I called and said I was counting on them later they graciously held them for me. Then I was shopping in the physical store the other day and I was able to find employees to help me find things and associates helped me to the car with our purchases. read more

My husband slipped on ice in the Home Depot walkway at the Home Depot in Lebanon, Tn. He hit his head and his head bounced off the concrete. I got him home and went to make a report with Home Depot. Report was made and i was told where to take him if he needed medical attention. I was told someone would follow-up with us within 48 hours. It's been 5 weeks. I have never known a company that didn't care about a customer getting hurt. I love going to this Home Depot. I get 10% off for a Veteran discount by showing them my ID at checkout. I know I get that at the other place too. I take my son here on the first Saturday of the month for the kids workshop. We get to build stuff together. Everything here is laid out nicely. Everyone is always asking if I need any assistance. We stopped in on January 1st to get started on the many purchases required to inhabit a new home. Now, granted it WAS January 1st, and I'm sure everyone would rather have been at home but every person we dealt with on this day needed help from more experienced co worker. I felt like we were at the Home Depot training school. Having said that, everyone was very friendly and apologetic about the problems, but I still would have rather not have waited so long to have everything happen. Came in to buy some tools because I just bought house in the area and planned to fix it up . Saw a dewalt combo kit on the ground on for $500 that's a hell of a deal rather than buying everything one at a time so I picked it up put it in my cart . Also I need to get a pex expanding tool as well cool found it on the shelf . Well as I'm going around looking at things an getting prices a manager stops me and says sir I need to take your buggy and put these items up front you can't have them while you look around. Ok . (Mind you there is no sign in the store or near any of these items saying that you need to take it up front . If that's the case, then you need to have them locked up . )So she takes the buggy and then another employee asked her if it was legit and she said it's for that gentleman. Well I get another buggy in case I need anything and I'm not kidding you when I say this I was followed around as if I was a criminal. So I said fuck it and left I will never spend money here I will drive a whole hour if I have to just by how they treat a customer. read more

This review is specifically for the rental department and their management of a poor product as well as their Store Manager, Mey. We rented a large tile saw from this location, and after returning home to continue our project, we found the saw blade provided was incapable of doing its job. It shredded five tiles we tried to cut, and completely destroyed the tiles. We thankfully had a tile blade we'd previously purchased (that we intended on returning after deciding to rent) and once we replaced the blade the saw worked perfectly (aside from a broken blade lock). When we returned it to the store, we were told the blade was brand new (I guess the rust happened overnight...) and that the best they could do is give us a 10% discount. Once we asked for the store manager we were rudely asked "What would you like for us to do?" and she tried to tell us we could have brought it back, despite being told over the phone that we were "past that time" when we called Initially to complain. We eventually gave up arguing, settling on a 25% discount and called corporate. We were offered an additional $50 card (and Aisha over the phone was an absolute gem) but I wanted folks to be aware of the absolute trash customer service from the rental department as well as the store manager of the Lebanon, Tn location read more

Went to this Home Depot today. Wandered around the flooring department looking for a filler for my floor scratch. Three employees (female) discussing their gray hairs didn't bother to look at me. I passed by three times and finally interrupted their chit chat to ask literally did not budge from their seats, rolled their eyes at me and said in the paint department. Ok where is that? I came via the contractor entrance to this new for me location and all Home Depot's are not laid out the same. I didn't even get my second question out and they commenced their hen party again. So I go to the paint department and wander around these horribly marked aisles. Found what I was looking for headed to the outdoor department. Wandered around while those two employees talked amongst themselves. I have had poor service I. The past but Home Depot is the worst! There have been several occasions where I have had to go to this Home Depot for a number of reasons ranging from convenience or hours that they are open. But I have to say this is without a doubt my favorite Home Depot or hardware store to visit because the staff here during the weekdays at least is absolutely 100% on point. The last time I went there was my third and counter with wonderful service who are willing to give as much time as needed to assist me and get me taken care of. On two different occasions over the last 6 months I have had the pleasure of being assisted by a gentleman by the name of mr. Bill. The last visit I had I was assisted by another gentleman as well and both mr. Bill and this other gentleman took nearly an hour to see to it that I was able to get my Plumbing situation taken care of before I got home even helping me find suitable parts that would retrofit with my old equipment and even told me ways of how to properly repair some of the stuff that was repairable. I'm telling you what that finding this kind of service is a rare commodity in today's day and age but I am happy to report that this place seems to have it down pat and to the highest degree. I recently purchased a dishwasher and installation with Home Depot. The young kids that were supposed to install the dishwasher told us that we had corroded pipes and that they could not complete the install until that was fixed. We called a plumber who looked at the pipes and stated that while there was some corrosion on the pipes, that it should not have been a problem for the installers. We replaced the pipes, against his judgment, so we could get the dishwasher installed but the installation company could not come back on the same day. We called customer service to tell them about the incident and the best they could do was knock off the installation fee and give us $100 dollars for the $146 pipe fix. They also stated that the earliest they could come out and install the dishwasher would be in seven days. Today is the day that they were supposed to show up and they did not because the manager at customer service that i spoke to did not click a button to finalize the order. I told them to come get their dishwasher and give us a refund in which they stated that they could not because the dishwasher had been sitting in the box in our house for a week. The only reason we kept it here was because we thought the installers would come back on the same day after we fixed the pipe that nothing was wrong with. I am now sitting on hold for the fourth hour of my life trying to get a new install date because of Home Depot employees incompetence. I am not the type of person to write bad reviews but this is the worst customer service that I have ever received. They messed up multiple times, cost my family time and money and refuse to do anything to satisfy the customer. read more

Labor Day Weekend, let's pressure wash the house. Tool rental is no reservation,first come,first serve. Or rent the night before said project. Had some issues with the wand of the pressure washer( Tommy) took care of the problem with a smile an said come back if this doesn't work. After the project was completed(Sylvia) helped us out on the returns. Cannot say enough great things about this experience. read more

I visited The Home Depot today. It was late afternoon and I only noticed a handful of customers in the store but many employees scattered around. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted and pointed in the direction of what I was shopping for. I was shopping for several metal closet rods and the hardware to install them. I found the items in stock and started to collect the rods. I'm a petite woman but managed to wrangle the 6 and 8 foot rods down from a higher shelf. Several men that worked there strolled right past me and never once offered a hand. I managed to load all 7 rods in the shopping cart. They aren't heavy at all but they are long and awkward. I started wheeling the cart up the aisle, past the desk at flooring where 3 employees were gathered together chatting. Two of the rods shifted causing them to teeter out of the cart and crash to the floor. The employees all looked up but never offered to assist. I apologized for the noise and proceeded to wedge them in more securely. I was using a regular cart because I find it difficult to navigate the bigger carts that are used for lumber. I finally made it to the front of the store and found a cashier. While paying for the purchases I ask the cashier for assistance with loading the cumbersome rods into my car. She called for assistance and then suggested I drive to the door for pick up. Once again I notice many employees just mingling and strolling about. It was obvious they weren't busy with other customers. I drove up to pick up my purchases and waited for help. Again, no sign of anyone to offer to help load the rods. I ended up making 4 trips to my car to load the items. The point I'm trying to make is simply this...the store was void of customers but had an abundance of employees who appeared to have nothing better to do than stand around and socialize with one another. What exactly are these employees supposed to be doing? What is their job? Where were all the customers this afternoon? My guess is they were probably at Lowes where customer service is better and where I will shop from now on. read more
