I'm also go here for the garden center. I try to go early when they are already down some of the plants that are building or almost dying. I like to bring them home and revive them into a brand new plant and keep them or give them. Don't go as soon as they open, because the last time I did that they had not marked any of the plants down yet. They do have some good stuff inside for improving your house, such as new carpets, tiles, lighting, and any other thing you could really think of. I don't know what happened bc I have used this store before when I built a house and had no issues with outright rudeness. I hate giving bad reviews but after today's experience? I had to. I've only been to this location a few times but I NEVER ACTUALLY NEEDED HELP FROM SOMEONE UNTIL TODAY! Walked in and they had a whole meeting right in front of one of their main aisles. Like there was at least 8 of them in a circle in the middle of the aisle. So my mom and I walked around in another aisle because we trying to get our stuff and dip because something about Home Depot ain't got no AC and they only have fans even though it's 100 degrees outside. Anyways, we waited about 10 minutes at the paint area and obviously ain't no workers working there. Whole meeting can obviously see us but ain't nobody bother to help. So, my mom and I walked around to grab other things and circled back to the paint area. Ain't nobody there. So then my mama goes to customer service and requests for help. Wait another 10 minutes and ain't nobody shown up. They got at least 5 people up front. So then I'm walking and making my way to customer service. I'm asking, I'm standing, I'm staring and only then is when someone offered help and assisted us. Like dude, I didn't have to go to the extent. I understand people got their own department and such but at least let us know help is only the way or communicate with us. read more

They sent me busted up materials. I tried to be friendly and cordial when returning the items. I even asked how the new year was treating them only to be hit with immediate disrespect. Every peace of trim was bowed, they broke nearly every peace of siding when they strapped it down. The dude was clueless and didn't listen. Treated me like I was a crook for wanting a refund. Constantly rude, and negligent. No one knew what they were doing during the whole process. I only got a partial refund, they didn't take the trim or 2x4s and to add to injury, they busted my dad's tail light and didn't even mention it. We went to the store and ordered an oven that they didn't have in stock. After 2 weeks and 3 times of them losing our product in shipping we finally had to cancel the order. I've like The Home Depot. I tend to prefer it to other big box hardware and home renovation stores. But this place is a confusing amalgamation off indifference and actual ineptitude. I needed 2 items: bricks and plastic to prevent my garden from freezing. Yes, I am the pros mother of tomato plants, okra, squash, cucumbers, etc. They are allegedly counting to keep to many prime in the building, but honestly, that seemed to only apply to people who ordered online; those of us shopping were allowed to go in with the quickness m There's supposed to be a hard freeze next week, and I must protect my leafy-babies. So I go to the garden center and find bricks. I Aldo see Malachi; he don't have a name tag - summertime wore his name on his shirt in a magic market. I all about plastic to cover my leafy children and he explains he's pulling an order and he had to return to the front. I ask if I can follow him and he says yes. So I do. But he forgets me and I have to run to keep up. We get upfront and he virtually abandons Malachi quickly abandons me and in left alone to find my way about. I find a very nice middle-agreed man in tile who helps me and regretfully I don't get his name. When I get up front, the cashiers are wonderful. read more

D and I have really been interested in gardening the last couple years and the Home Depot has really been there for us. Yes, we have bought things from Lowes as well but that's besides the point. They have a great selection of flowers, trees, bushes, herbed, etc. We practically want to buy one of everything! by now we're all used to these stores being understaffed, that's corporate and you can't really blame the local employees for that. Yesterday I had to ask 5 different people over the course of half an hour to buy a tool, which I partly blame on corporate intentional short staffing. The comical part was the bickering between employees over petty store sidework. At one point an employee with sleeve tatts (from the lumber department?) literally stopped another employee on his way to get a tool for me, to bicker at him about store busywork, THEN when that employee had my actual tool in his hands, he stopped short of giving it to me, because the same guy was bickering at him AGAIN. He's just standing there, holding the tool I've been waiting half an hour to buy, listening to the first guy bicker again. At one point I'm standing there waiting to get this tool and I watch 3 employees squabble over a roller cart of boxes that need to be reshelved...all while I'm trying to spend money in the store. read more

My husband and I visited our location in Midwest City, OK. We enjoy shopping there in the past and preferred it to our local Lowes until recently. Today we went to visit for a shop vac and normally we go and a discount is honored for my husband as he is a military veteran. Today at our visit the cashier manning the self check out informed us they no longer honor Drivers License with veteran indication on it valid for the discount. She rudely stated veterans take advantage of that. I was floored! My husband who has served in the Navy 9 years, 3 deployments, PTSD and other disabilities for fighting for our freedom was apparently taking advantage of something at Home Depot! So many other ways that cashier could have phrased certain policies, instead she chose to disrespect a veteran who fought for her and others freedoms. So, I walk up to two employees and say, "could someone help me in the window blinds section?" They look at each other with great annoyance and the man points to the woman. Lora, then rolls her eyes and says "what?". I say, "um... could you help me find some blinds"? She continues to be tacky with me and act like I'm an idiot until I say, "you know what, nevermind, if you don't want to walk over and help me... that's fine." Same situation happened with another employee the next day. They act as if you've ruined their vacation if you ask for any assistance what so ever. They constantly disrespect Veterans by questioning their Veteran ID and Real ID as proper verification. When you explain that you need paperwork proving you are a veteran to get ID they act puzzled because it doesn't match the "picture" in the HD manual. We are turned away over and over from using our veteran status. It is why we usually choose Lowes over HD. read more

My issue was with an online purchase. I ordered a 4.5 gallon air compressor. I paid for it and was waiting for the confirmation email saying it was ready for in store pickup. Instead I received a voicemail from an employee stating that my money has been refunded due to their numbers being incorrect on how much inventory they had. Not once did he give me another solution that involved Home Depot resolving the issue. I figured they would want to retain the $225 I paid them and find another compressor from one of their other stores or wait until one was in stock and ship it to me. Overall I don't see how corporate Home Depot would say this was normal procedure when their inventory numbers were off. I will buy one from amazon. read more

We walked in the store carrying skateboards as our means of transportation. the home depot workers continuously stalked our movements and gave us dirty looks. Many stayed within 5 feet of us at times, including one time this dude with long hair just stood there with us for about 2 minutes in silence. When one guy finally approached us, (i'm assuming the store manager) he was very condescending and somewhat rude, setting a mood for the entire store itself. I wouldn't waste time doing online purchases and pickups at this store. Customer service...What a JOKE! For this occasion... I checked the store and confirmed all the items were in stock before placing my order. All of the items were heavy so I had to pull an 18' trailer in order to make a single trip. After placing my order, I received a text saying my order was complete and ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store, the lady told me that half of my order (100 pavers) were not in stock. The other half was (Large tool chest) was assembled and appeared to be the floor model. After about 2 hours in the store... I left with the tool chest (in box) and a half empty trailer. They were very slow and not very apologetic for the situation. I eventually found pavers at another store which was about 40 miles away and a separate. Done with this HD... Will be going to Lowes down the street from now on. read more

Been having the worst customer service ever with Home Depot in MWC off Sooner Rd and 15th!! I scheduled a flooring measurement through one person and a manager and 2 weeks later, no call no show of any measurement people at all. So I had to go to the store and ask for a manager, he tells another lady to help me and they said "Best we can do is reschedule your measurements." So this person helped me set that up.... again! And handed my info to another person who was going to be there the following day to handle my situation. The next day not a call or anything!! So I call up there and have to leave a message. A 6th person calls me back to tell me that they will just have to reschedule my measurements with the company to come out and get what they need again! I'm pretty sure at this point I'm going to cancel it all and find someone with better customer to red or the floors in my house!! It's crazy how 5-6 different people have to try and take care of one simple task and for me to take off work 2 different occasions for nothing is ridiculous! 1/2 star!! read more

In may, we purchased a counter top and back splash. It is nearing the end of july and the job is still not finished. We were assured Home Depot would schedule all the installation, but today, July 23, I had to go to this Home Depot to finally get the back splash installation scheduled. It will be another week before the installers have an opening, July 29. So for two and half months, our kitchen has been torn up. The people at Home Depot don't seem to have any interest in these delays and offer no help. I will never again go to Home Depot for anything that I can't carry out of the store. We have a rental property in MWC that needed extensive work. On several trips to this Home Depot I spent over $5000. I am veteran and on the last purchase I was told my drivers license that indicated my service was not sufficient to receive the veterans discount. The Home Depot closest to my house and all Lowes had no issues with my license. I will not spend any more money with them! read more
