My family and I have been without our washer for a month trying to deal with AllState. They just keep telling us to wait another 3 days. Home Depot DOES NOT honor their same day water heater replacement. They advertise that if you call before noon Monday through Friday they will replace the water heater the same day. I called at 7 AM on a Monday morning and was told that there was no availability until Wednesday. The lady on the phone told me it's first come first served and I said I'm calling you at 7 AM Monday morning how many people could possibly be ahead of me in Moore OK? Crickets. If I could give this business zero stars I would. We ordered a 2 in 1 washer dryer combo and riser. This was a very expensive purchase. When we ordered it the fella that placed the order in store... was on hold with whomever they contract out to for 45 min to make sure we would have both appliances installed when delivered. Let me tell you that was 45 minutes of our lives wasted and will never be recovered. Today was the day for delivery... guess who has appliances sitting in the garage because install was refused... said it wasn't on his paperwork to install. This is what happens when Home Depot contracts out. We called the store they said they could reimburse us $25. WOW!!!! That was the biggest slap in face. That was worse than just being told they weren't going to install it. Just don't waste your time and stay true LOWES. Lesson learned. We went this route thinking what could go wrong..... EVERYTHING. This is the closest Home Depot but I want to mention this location is very clean with a very friendly staff in each department. I really like the garden sections and how big it is with a great perennials section. The staff here are very knowledgeable with great stories about everything from gardening to home repair. My husband loves coming here since we are in the process of making our own little garden at our new home. What I really appreciate is that the staff is considerate and if I want a big heavy load they will take it out to the car for me. read more

I originally placed an order for a door measure and install in February 2017. The measure was completed in February 2017, but the install wasn't completed until June 2017. The millwork department had to re-order the door three times because they kept entering the incorrect measurements for the door. Throughout the process I was unable to get ahold of the expediter or manager of the store. After the installer called to cancel the second appointment to install the door because the measurements were incorrect, I had to call the corporate office because millwork, the expediter and manager of the store did not return calls requesting information about what had gone wrong with the order. After the corporate office put me in touch with the manager, he stated he would call back the following Monday with additional information. Never heard back from the manager. Had to call corporate a second time to get in touch with the store. In the end, the installer ended up handling the order and installation. I will never again use Home Depot for any kind of installation service. I highly recommend others look to other outlets or, better yet, locally for home projects. read more

I have been using my Veteran discount at this store by showing my driver license that has the flag. The flag is verification that I showed proof that I am or was in the military service. Last week I went to make a purchase and was told that had changed and I needed to update my information on the web page. I did as ask by the cashier, went to the web page signed up. At the end of the process I found that if you want the veteran discount you must have a smart phone. Not a problem for many, but for veterans who do not have a smart phone you cannot get the discount. I have problems using the smart phone sometimes. Many older people have problems using the smart phone so it seems to me that it is unfair to require it. I emailed customer service and ask what a person without a smart phone, or someone who could not use a smart phone needed to do in order to get the discount. They emailed a response that without a smart phone or if you cannot use a smart phone you cannot get the discount. The instructions to get the discount requires you scan the item you want to purchase using the Home Depot app and then the discount will be applied at checkout. I feel this is unfair to veterans who cannot afford or use the smart phone. I posted this on my Facebook page and already have a dozen remarks that say just use Lowe's because they have better customer service and the veteran discount is easy, just give your phone number once you register. If other store do this with just the phone number, I wonder why they are making it so difficult. And try finding a link to sign up on the web page! I had to email customer service in order to get a link. It is as if they do not want it easy to sign up for the discount. But, they do have a full page about all the things they do for veterans. read more

I have been buying from this Home Depot since the first week it was open! I have always had great service, the personnel on the floor have always been very helpful to me. They give classes for different projects every Saturday, even for the kids, and they are very knowledgeable and understanding when I ask questions. I do most of my own home repairs since I am retired and the personnel on the floor are very knowledgeable of their product areas and even some other areas. I am a senior citizen and when my finance' passed away a couple of years ago, several of the employees were there for me with a hug and an understanding ear when I went into the store. I want to say that they are like family to me! I think the sales at Home Depot are great! So glad HD is close to my house and they have the people who care about their customers in this store. read more

Love our local Home Depot store and the staff! But we had our first bad experience yesterday when our new Home Depot purchased Electrolux washer dryer set arrived. The washing machine would not take water. After troubleshooting myself and contacting Electrolux directly the machine was confirmed defective. Electrolux said machine was back ordered and a new one could not be delivered until April 7 (after Mar 10 delivery)-- a near one month wait and four weeks of laundromat trips! Contacted Home Depot who explained they don't have a loaner program, had no stock on hand to quickly replace the washer and offered nothing in the way of compensation. We made our desperate trip to the laundromat yesterday, spent over $50, and are today going to try to figure out how to get a new washer and dryer set in place in a more timely manner. Not sure what we'll do with the nice looking Electrolux set when the new set we pick shows up, but we'll keep Yelpworld posted on how accommodating Home Depot is with the FULL refund we will be asking for. read more

This is an issue with installers and deliveries. It appears that home depot has gone to contracting out all deliveries and installations. Here are my two experiences. Because of these I will never buy anything from Home Depot that I can't walk out the door with. Anything I need delivered and installed with be from Lowe's going forward. 1. Flooring, I special ordered a bunch of flooring. The company they contracted to deliver it called on the day they were supposed to deliver and asked if there was someone home to help unload it, because apparently the company only has 1 pallet jack and it was already on another truck ???? I paid for delivering so we would not have to unload it. So I had to be home another day for them deliver when they would have that apparently one pallet jack. Then they got here and it is on a semi, that can barely get down my road, let alone my driveway, which is almost 2 blocks long, but it is paved. The guy is trying to push the pallet jack up my driveway and can't, so I have to go out and help push the flooring the two blocks to get it to the garage. At this point, we should have just had it sent to the store and loaded it in our truck. 2. Appliances - We ordered an entire kitchen of appliances. The group of guys that delivered them came in a rented moving truck, and was trying to move so fast that they damaged my door frame getting the old fridge out, even through we told them to take the doors off first. Now when I call home depot to get it fixed, home depot passes me off to some secondary company called sedwich, that I haven't been able to get a call back from. We are doing a remodel, and our front door was just installed by Lowe's 3 months ago(which went perfectly), so to already have it damage is crazy, and I have no confidence that it will be like it was before. What little money I saved on these two purchases over buying them at Lowe's has proven to not be worth it. Lowe's comes with their own box trucks and employees that actually work for Lowe's. Never again will I have anything delivered or installed by Home Depot. read more

I had ordered a complete set of new kitchen appliances from Home Depot Moore, Oklahoma that were scheduled for delivery and INSTALLATION from a independent service contracted with Home Depot. The individual that delivered the appliances and was supposed to install them was a disaster full of excuses, refused to install half of the items, then lied to Home Depot about what they had done. I personally went to Home Depot in Moore extremely upset with the events of the morning. I met with Erika and shared my frustration. She then put me in contact with Nason who was the MOD manager on duty today. My anger and frustration was certainly visible and expressed but Nason took control of fixing this situation. I was introduced to HD employee Kevin who said he would be at my house in 45 minutes to correct any problem. 45 minutes later Kevin was there and all appliances were up and running. Kevin and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and took a genuine interest in getting things done correctly. It is easy to write a 5 star review when all things are "wonderful" and it's easy to write a 0 or 1 star review when things go wrong. This 5 star review was written to show that Home Depot of Moore took a 1 star start to a 5 star finish by stepping up and taking care of things in a prompt and professional way. Despite my frustration all employees were professional and accommodating. They did not do the "we will have to reschedule" protocol you get from a lot of other places. They got the job done. And they were on it immediately to get things right. Thank you Nason, Kevin, and Erika at Home Depot of Moore for your quick attention to our dilemma and for your time and consideration. HD of Moore will have all of our future business due to the professionalism and 5 star customer service. I Simply went to buy some paint and the individual at the paint counter took 10 mins to get off of the computer to even greet me. I gave him the paint splotch and he said I will get to it when I can (I was the only individual at the paint area). Once the paint was mixed he slammed it on the counter and proceeded to tell me that he couldn't match the paint splotch I gave him, I presently showed him where I had picked it up in the store and he said sorry maybe you will have better luck at Lowes across the street and that he was not making the paint down for me. I am writing this to let everyone out there know about the trolls at Home Depot. I was recently there to purchase some paint for the house and a man approaches me about a water survey. Now anyone that lives in the area knows we just recently had some water issues, so I was thinking this might have to do with that, boy was I wrong. I filled out the survey and was on my way. a few days later I receive a call and the lady tells me that I have won a $20.00 gift card and a free water testing. I was suckered in, because I never win nothing and again I thought this had to do something with the water issues that we had in the area. So I set up an appointment for them to come test the water and that person will bring my gift card. I have still never been told who is coming to do this and that was my mistake by not asking... So last night at 7:00 I get a knock on the door and it is a gentleman with a Rain Soft shirt on. He tells me who he is with and is there to do the water test. My wife was not back yet and he was very hesitant about doing the test, which I thought was odd. Anyway, long story short and 2-1/2 hours later, he was trying to sale me a $6500.00 water treatment system and give me 6 years worth of soap and cleaning products. Now I went thorough all of this because I felt bad for one guy in Home Depot getting told NO all day long, but I can promise you that they will get a NO from me next time. I felt like this was very shady on the Home depot for allowing this kind of stuff to go on. It was the fakest thing I believe I have ever gone through. So shoppers be AWARE next time you are approached to do a survey, because they are just trying to set the trap. read more
