One star is too good for Home Depot. I have a Ryobi cordless tool that is practically new and doesn't work. Replacement denied. I was giving a phone number to call that does not work. I don't get a paycheck from Home Depot so why should I be doing the calling ? No military discount. They say they have a military discount but they don't give a military discount. I suggest stay away from that store cuz you going to walk out mad every time. read more

We spend a lot of time in places like Home Depot. It's our own fault. We bought a house that was built over 100 years ago. It has issues. Home Depot has parts to fix them. This is the second time this week that Home Depot basically accused me of stealing. 1st time was in the rental department. I rented a wood chipper that wouldn't chip. Took back and told the rental cashier and his comment was I hope you got everything done I'll cancel the rental. Cant believe it. I also rented a chain saw so if I was finished don't you think I would return the chain saw too. Now today I went though the self check purchasing a echo chainsaw, yard sprayer and some small items. Total of $452. The lady watched me scan each item like a hawk, not a problem but and I was finished paying for the items she requested to see my receipt. Wasn't nice about it at all. Not a good experience. Items on sale but if I get the color options offered then I have to pay more to have it delivered to the store than the sale. So why offer the option hmm? Then I get the sales person who seems to rather I just go away rather than show me other dishwashers that might work that don't need to be delivered to the store. I showed her the same one I bought 45 min later at Lowe's. So if ya have a certain color you want in an appliance remember tip the driver. Delivery charges. read more

Absolutely the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. 45 minutes for someone to make 2 cuts in a board. 30 minutes for 1 gallon of paint to be mixed. Final straw, no one could sell/answer questions about a washer because "the person who works in that department called in sick." Even after getting a manager...same answer. Never again. I'll drive 30 extra minutes to Lowe's. read more

I think it is awful that they subcontract out everything and do not let the subcontractors do their own measuring. I had to pay more for counter removal when that was in the original discussions, the sinks were not included that were promised, the measurements were wrong, etc. The subcontractors got here late and then had to stay extra because Home Depot did not give them correct information. My husband had to run to New Albany to get the sinks that were supposed to be included in the installation, so then my plumber had to work past his normal working hours. I wish I could give them a lower score. read more

For some reason I have always loved going to the Home Depot. I love the smell of fresh cut wood and checking out the garden center. I visited this location yesterday, not my first time, and it was a great experience! There were several employees that approached us, willing to assist. I'll definitely be back to this location instead of the Clarksville one. read more

If you are looking at getting a countertop made and installed, I would warn you that Home Depot uses a sub contractor called Design in Stone which is a division of Cardinal Kitchen. The measuring dates are pushed back and even if they give you a installation date, expect that it will get pushed back and you will wait 6-7 weeks for a countertop. That may work for you but I don't have a countertop at all and so this has created a very big problem for me. I called to talk to Home Depot and they don't care, they just push you off on Design in Stone. Of course, their take is that THIS IS STANDARD. Funny how it was never communicated as STANDARD delivery time before they had FULL PAYMENT (which they require before they take your order). NOW you know why. Because you would cancel your order if they told you the truth before they got your money. read more

LIARS LIARS LIARS, Ordered a special order door to be picked up on December 18th, even had text from them 2 weeks ago saying the door was in production... yeah right!! .. finally get someone to give me a straight answer today that the door is on backorder they haven't even started on it yet! will be sometime in February to March before they see it getting here now. Told them to cancel the order and I will find a reputable company to buy from in the future, I have spent many many thousands of dollars with Home Depot in the past very sad they SUCK SO BAD!!! they won't get anymore of my money. read more

(Paint Department) instead of saying that another department is wrong and that you will have a "discussion" with them to them to tell them that they are wrong but yet to find out that they were right and still made the costumers feel like an inconvenience. Four phone calls from work to try to buy a washer that was advertised able to be delivered by Saturday so I didn't have to take a day off work. Could not get anyone to answer basic questions and each time I got the impression I was an imposition. Very poor customer service. Bought at Best Buy instead. read more

I've never had a good experience at this store and after the last time I will make the trip to the Clarksville store. No one seemed to want to help. The employees actually avoided me when I asked for help. When I finally cornered someone they told me I was on the wrong side of the store and needed to walk over to get help. When I walked over I figured out I was right the first time and went back only to find the item I needed was out of stock. Went to Clarksville and not only did they have it but they walked me directly to it. Menards seems to be my new favorite but the Clarksville store is my second. read more

Called ahead to ask if they had landscape timbers in stock oh yes 160 at least.....got their in a large borrowed gas guzzler truck.....an 6 crooked ones remained in a pile outside...... asked customer service how many they had because I could not find nothing but a few bad ones.......161 shows up on his computer screen......then I asked a young kid in store about land scape timbers he said their store stock is never right...after all landscape timbers are seasonally come back next spring we will have more then.......Oh for the LOVE of GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

The Home Depot should Hire good, kind hearted people, not Romanoff Renovations. The people they hire to installed our back splash have a mean evil hearts. They cut the Silver Metal Interlocking in our garage/outside, we found up to half inch Silver Metal Interlocking pieces in our garbage disposal. There were three of us in the living room while they was working, we heard them turn the garbage disposal on a total of three times. We respect their work space so we didn't question why they would need to turn the garbage disposal on. First time we heard the garbage disposal turn on, I did walk over to see if I had left anything in the sink, nothing but the bucket that they used. One guy left work site for nearly an hour, when he gotten back they rushed to finish, I walk over to look seen some sand caulk and grout on the molding, counter, etc. I ask, will you help me by wipe down the sand caulk on the molding because I'm short and can't reach all the way near the ceiling, they did not do it, just gather their tools and left. The Home Depot is our favorite over Lowe's, hope they would considered or at least hold the Romanoff Renovation accountable. We work very hard for our garbage disposal, not alot to some people but it is to us. read more

I scheduled a quote consultation for Andersen replacement windows. When I scheduled the appointment, I was very clear that I was only interested in Andersen windows. The call desk indicated that the appointment would take approx. 90 minutes and the salesperson would show me all products. I again stated I was not interested in products other than Andersen and was told that the salesperson would be informed. Home Depot called two additional times before the appointment date to confirm. Each time I confirmed that I was only interested in Andersen windows. Today the salesperson called 20 minutes before appointment to reschedule due to overlapping appointment times. I confirmed that I was only interested in Andersen and he informed me that Home Depot doesn't install Andersen in southern Indiana. Are you kidding me? How much clearer could I have been. I asked him why the schedulers wasted my time. He said it's a way to get him in the door to sell a different product. What a waste of my time!!!!! Glad to know Home Depot is so untrustworthy before we made a major remodeling purchase. read more
