I walked in this store happy because every Home Depot I have gone too, the visit has been pleasant. I am a ProXtra Card Member. Went to rent an AC for an outdoor event. I had ID. My card and a pleasant attitude. My assistant went a week before to get info. Was told I can do it on the app, false. Went to this location and the Supervisor Laura felt like she was reading me my rights. All I wanted to do was order and have an assistant pick up She asked me to read the information and it states I am the only one that can pick up. Kept calling me Love and Sweetie and saying they have lots of theft and I explained I have done it before elsewhere. Requested manager. Benny came and okay it and boom it was fixed. Ms. Laura was not happy about that. I can write a book. Never again. Let me get a Leows card. I am so done. My day was ruined. Pick up was just as worse. read more

I've been here a bunch of times and normally I'd give 1 star. There is improvements occuring here. Check out has gotten better. The employees are monitoring the mass stealing that used to happen here. Nuts and bolts is still a disaster but it's due because anyone can put there hands in the dish. There selection does seem as much as other store north of S. Florida. It's still the cheapest place to go. Parking has improved due to the carts being picked up. read more

However the lines are always extremely long and they usually only have one or two cashiers working even on the weekends during the busiest times. While the home depot has tons of materials you need, it is sorely lacking on customer service. I am not talking about anything fancy. Just a 15-30 second conversation with the customer, and the answer may be, "Sorry we are out of stock right now". Suggestions: - Staff walking the floor should be outlawed from "grunting and pointing". Simply say "the item is there on the counter or on the shelf...say something to indicate that you at least understand what was being asked. - Where is the manager? or assistant manager? or the floor manager? or the section lead? You can't leave the staff unmanaged. Walk the floor or section, ask the staff how's it going? have you talk to any customers today? They can't be so busy stocking the shelves that the customers are totally ignored. Today after running into two staff members that clearly did not want to be bothered. I can't tell you how frustrating this was. A different 3rd staff member had the common courtesy to speak and say "Sorry we are out of the that item. we had some yesterday". I am sorry for the long review, but you have to remember there are other stores. Yes I will have to drive further, but it is worth it for a smile and common courtesy. Thank you. If I could give them a 0, I would. What a lousy store. Poor service, rude workers, dirty environment. Went there to buy a shower valve for a shower plumbing that I'm having revised. first they sent me to aisle 37, that was the wrong row, the clerk didn't even bother to get up off her "duff" to help. I'm a nurse, not a plumber, that's why I needed help. Then she says go to aisle 32. Of course there was no help in sight. I had them call someone for help. After waiting for ten minutes I decided to call the store and ask for help. First time they hung up, second time they put me on hold for about five minutes, third time I heard them over the PA request help for aisle 32. When the man finally came, he didn't know nothing about no shower valve and was rude when I questioned him. I finally ended up leaving empty handed. This is why I would prefer Lowe's right down the street any day. They're clean, plenty of help, friendly and knowledgeable. I don't ever want to go back to that nasty Home Depot again. read more

Dear Home Depot, I pride myself on being a "Home Depot guy" over a "Lowes guy" but I may just have to reconsider I am here in Miami doing a very big job and I usually count on Home Depot to get me what I need. I have been here at the paint counter while 3 employee and 1 friend of employee sit there and eat candy canes. You guys should fire everybody here snd put Michaela from paint in charge. Now don't get me wrong. I am a patient person and understand that I amm not the most importantt person in the world. But I would like to think I am more important than a candy cane that has to be at least a month old because it's almost February... However, I am sad to say that this is just one example of the service here. The tool area is stocked with employees pretending to stock things but really face timing with god knows who. But don't worry. There is plenty of crap laying around in restock carts just waiting to be put back after the face time call is done. I'm sorry to say that I'm going to have to go to a different store from now on. I just can't take it anymore. But this is just my opinion. I was just helped by the most patient and caring team member I have ever experienced here. His name is DRE and he works in the Paint Dept. I had inadvertently gotten paint over the majority of my paint gallon sticker. I was in need of more paint and could not figure out what color I was painting with. I brought in the paint can and searched the paint swatches to see if I could figure it out. I pulled the one I thought matched. I took them both to Dre. He looked it up and realized it was not the exact paint color. This young man went above and beyond to figure out what the heck was on that sticker. After pulling off the sticker to see if maybe we could see it from the reverse side to no avail, he patiently scrolled and scrolled through the computer with the partial info. HE FOUND IT! I am able to continue my paint project without a problem. On top of that, Dre has an awesome attitude. He did not make me feel like I was being a pain. He prepped the paint can and handed it to me with a smile. Dre, thank you for your friendly, knowledgeable and amazing service. You make Home Depot look great!!! read more

Whoever is in charge of this store, needs to be demoted due to the lack of basic common sense among the personnel currently employed at this location. My story is no different from the others so why bother typing and explaining. Most of the employees at this North Miami Beach location need to shadow employees at other locations in other demographical areas for a week to understand my point of view. But I understand that is too much like doing the right thing. I spend entirely to much of my hard earned money inside this store to go through the unnecessary especially when I have gone the extra mile to prevent the unnecessary from occurring. ( Example: Creating a will call order to have my local contractor come by to pick it up) Thank you to Ms Zebb Walker for attempting to help and explaining what caused the problem at hand. Her understanding and empathy was greatly appreciated and goes a long way with me however, a lot of in service training needs to take place. I came just now at 3:30 (7/28/23)to buy a key for my apartment and in the self checkout the lady in the self check out was extremely rude to other customers that I saw and as I was next I said I have Apple Pay she gave me really horrible attitude as she did to others and told me no only card and I said are you sure because other Home Depot does Apple Pay I've never had an issue she rolled her eyes at me and said no other Home Depot does Apple Pay. She had a nasty tone and nasty attitude and I walked out and told her she has horrible customer service never will come back here again she could have approached differently. She told the other lady cash only and the lady said I don't have cash I thought I did and rolled her eyes to an elderly lady and say whatever use the card on the machine. I can't complaint, we are painting contractors in North Miami Beach and we can find most of the Behr Paints and they have a lot of sundries to do any painting project, and also you can get discounts if you buy bulk. Today I am felling as if my family fell for one of those "Nigerian prince" scams. Well, I told my daughter not to sign with Home Depot but she believed what the sales person told her. " Flooring and installation, no glitch, best service ever". Home Depot delivered the tiles on June 2nd. Today, July 5th, we finally realized, after a month of emails, calls and trip to their store, that they cannot get a team to install our tiles. We will have to find new people to do the job, move to the house and then have the existing tiles removed and the new tiles installed. We will have to endure the dust, the noise, the workers. I am 70 years old, and I am afraid just to think of the unhealthy conditions I will have to put up with. the worst home depot i've been to. no staff, no communication, and no structure. waited an hour to talk to someone in appliances.

It's one of the worst I've ever been to -- ever. It's the closest HD to me but unfortunately I hate going there. The last time I was there I had searched for a specific Kohler towel bar and it said they had 3 in stock. When I went to the plumbing department there was an associate in the next aisle and I asked him if they had it. His response was "If you don't see it out, we don't have it (in an irritated tone)." So I said it says online you have 3. Could there be one in the shelves up above? (I've worked at the Home Depot so you can't pull one over on me.) He just didn't want to be bothered and go go to the effort. So I insisted that he help me and come look. Sure enough, they had 4 in stock. So if I would have listened to him I wouldn't have gotten my towel bar and they would have made one less sale. How often does this happen? Also when I checked out --the attendant tried to tell me I had to use my Home Depot card to use a discount coupon I had. That wasn't true. She said something else that wasn't true too.
