I'm really disgusted with Home Depot. I spent over $3k on a New John Deere Zero Turn and I went to finally Unwrap it AND it's On a Pallet! How is a petite senior supposed to get that off the pallet with out doing any damage to the deck? They're coming to pick it back up. I'm very disappointed. Recently purchased an American Standard toilet and discovered the parts and seat were missing due to packaging or pilfering (unsure). Went to Home Depot and a young man and woman made things right. They allowed me to grab a toilet seat free of charge and apologized extensively. Because of these two individuals, I will be back and spending lots more money! Great customer service. read more

HD Dropped the ball on this one! I bought a Veranda Vinyl Fence with hinged gate a few years ago and both hinge covers need to be replaced. One is missing and the other was broke during the winter. I stopped by the in store service desk and was told that I had to call the "Veranda Service" people because the parts are not in the system, and they gave me the phone number. I called, the service person was a little snippy and told me that she needed the part number for the Hinge Kit. (There is only one gate hinge kit) so I looked it up online at Home Depot website and gave her the number. She found the covers and told me that I could not order the part directly from her or on line at Home Depot and that I would have to go to the in store service desk. I told her that I had already been there and she said yes she knew that and that they said they could not order parts, but to have them call and she would talk them through how to do it. She would not give me the part number. Clearly I must have called at a bad time because I could tell my call was an inconvenient interruption. So, back to the store! Love the fence, love the gate (except the hinge covers break), but this is not going very well. read more

We had the best experience at HD today! Plumbing associate was not only sweet but super helpful. After walking by my husband and I three times and hearing from the husband "no we're good".. she didn't give up. We needed help! She helped find everything we needed and things we didn't know we needed. Electrical was just as helpful and kind. We ended up decided this project was too much for us and ended up returning everything. Returns was awesome too! Highly recommend this store for your DIY projects :) read more

I came to Home Depot to get a key duplicated. I was very pleased with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I was disappointed in the lack of designs for key options. I am not too concerned of the design though, and got a key for under 2 dollars. Overall positive experience. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered product to be delivered on a specific day and they were a day late. I then had the materials be picked up and they were also a day late doing that. They can not refund you when materials are being returned via Home Depot pick unless you make a trip to the store. read more

We ordered kitchen appliances on the 21st of November, they first told us that we would receive our appliances on December 6th, 2019. They told us to remove all old appliances prior to delivery. So we did! They called on December 6th and changed the delivery date to December 31st,2019. They called December 27th, 2019 to tell us now LG can't supply them to us until February 29th, 2020. We will be without appliances for 3 months. This is a problem for Home Depot. Be careful when you order anything from there, they do not have their own warehouse, they are dependent on the manufacturer to get the product to you!!! Appliances that are returned to them you will have to wait for the refund to be given from the manufacturer. Buyer beware!!! read more

Went there yesterday. Picked up a couple pairs of gloves and a pair of garden shears. Not a single human employee said a word to me. If it wasn't for the automated pay machine, nobody would have known i was there. The worst part is that since i stated asking around, many others have gotten piss poor service at this location. Spend a lot of money at this store. Was treated very poorly at the service counter. Always check out there when on that side of the store because there are no self checkouts there. I am disabled and it's difficult to go to the other side of the store. They had two counters labeled "Returns" of which neither had the light on. The one clerk there was working on a lengthy return. When the people in front of me were done at the service counter the guy asked me if I needed to check out and I said yes and he said you have to go the the returns counter, turned and walked to the other returns counter and called "NEXT". So now there were three people in line who weren't there when I got there. So I hobbled down to the other side of the store and self checked out. The clerk there was very nice and helpful. Have a little compassion Home Depot. There was no reason why he couldn't have scanned my little pint of paint and checked me out. And he probably was an assistant manager. What an ass. read more

Eleven weeks ago we ordered Kitchen cabinets and we told it was taking 6 weeks. At 6.5 weeks I contacted them and was told they were due in on Friday so we started to take out a few cabinets during the week and over the weekend removed the rest. I was told on Saturday that they were shipped on Friday not due in and should be there on Monday. If not they were going to call the manufacturer to have them tracked. Was told on Tuesday that they were shipped from the manufacturer on Oct 29 or 30 to the distribution center and now it is November 11th. I was told that they had no way to contact the distribution center to find a status. I called almost every day for a status and was told that the only person who could give me an update was out sick and no one (not even a manager) could access her emails or provide an update. It is not the week of Thanksgiving and we still have no cabinets, I had to have a stove delivered without having a kitchen, and we are forced to go to Menards to order countertop and other misc. items that will be needed to finish if our cabinets ever come in. No one knows what is going on not even the management staff. This is the second kitchen we have redone with them and very disappointed in the customer service and lack of knowledge. Go through Menards they were a bigger help and were able to answer our questions. read more

Do not shop at this home depot, I got a quote for a 6 piece appliance package on Monday and was told to wait until Wednesday because that's when the new sales come out. I being a patient Marine waited and called Thursday and was told by the sales person that she had not had time to work on my package but would call me back. Friday comes and still no call so I call and again she said that she hasn't had time to work on it. Now Monday I was quoted $4357.00 for delivery, installation and haul away, today when she called back it was well over $5000.00 and they refused to honor Mondays quote even though they told me to wait. Absolutely my go-to home improvement place until Menard's finally opened a bit closer. But if I only want a few of something, I still head to Home Depot as it is easier to grab stuff than to have to always head back to the yard to get a few 2x4s at Menards's. I have always had a warm reception there. And free coffee and free bottled water. Maybe if you look more lost, people want to help you more! Most of the time I'm happy to cruise in and get what I need myself and I do know the location of just about everything there. If you need some help, just locate someone in an orange shop apron. Sometimes I've had a few greet me on one trip. I would never judge a store this large based on one visit. I've gone into multiple places and never had anyone (but a greeter) greet me. So if I avoided places where normal folks didn't talk to me, I could starve to death by avoiding Meijer. They could only get 5 stars by having more stuff. Because it is a limited size store, they do not carry 14 ft lumber, only 8 ft, 12 ft, 16 ft. So I figure out what I need and go where they have it. read more
