After payment or upon pick-up. We picked up on a Tuesday, but didn't set the chair up until Saturday. My wife slept in it one night. Feet dangled off the end of recliner. Description says for people over 6 feet. My wife is maybe 5'4' Next day she said she couldn't adjust to the foot dangling & wanted to return. Called the store. We were told they had a 24 hour return policy. We were never told this verbally and since we never received a receipt, were never given written notice. Had we known there was a 24 hour return policy, we would have picked it up a different day. Have never heard of 24 hours to adjust to furniture. Contacted the sales person. She talked to her manager. He agreed to accept our return as long as we could do it that day and our money would not be refunded. We would only receive store credit. We kept the chair and are selling it privately. It has never been used since. DO NOT EVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FURNITURE & APPLIANCEMART.

They had a great promotion going on with the purchase of four appliances and 0% financing to boot. David printed off quotes and even showed me the online prices at other retailers, which I could have looked up myself, but he saved me the time. They will meet or beat those prices. After I took all the information home to show my husband, David was quick to respond to questions via email or text. Fortunately, my husband was as dissatisfied with our appliances as I was and we went ahead with the purchase. The delivery guys were very nice and efficient. They didn't leave a mess for me to clean up. I would shop there again as I like sales people who are working for a sale, are full of information, but are not too pushy. Shopping there was fun and I really love my new appliances!

Several years ago, after working for a major corporate repair service for many years, Tom started…read morehis own independent appliance repair service in our area. Since (as we found out) the sole appliance store in our town only services appliances bought from their store, we were referred to Tom -- who promptly returned our call and scheduled a visit to repair our dryer. While he was repairing our dryer I inquired whether he worked on stoves too (as the igniter on my gas oven was failing). He said, "Yes, I do," and he was willing to take a look at it after he finished the dryer. It turns out he had a new igniter on his truck and ten minutes later our oven was up and running again. Tom apologized that the bill would be higher than he quoted because of the extra work -- but no problem for us -- the oven and dryer were fixed and the price was fair and worth every penny. Fast forward two weeks -- the dryer starts acting up again. So we called Tom and again he promptly scheduled an appointment. It turns our that the new part he installed had failed. So he replaced it -- at no charge -- because it was clearly under warranty. Hopefully everything will keep running for a long time. But if something happens -- we'll be calling Tom again -- and we highly recommend him for your appliance repairs.

I bought a LG range in Dec 2023 along with…read more the extended warranty. One evening we heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen. The stove was cold, not being used. I called Furniture and Appliance Mart in Rhinelander, were I bought the range, reporting that the glass in the front of the oven door shattered. They told me they would send the claim to the service department. After about a month I called about the claim as they told me to do. At that time the service department told me the shattered glass was not covered, even though the factory and extended warranty were in place. No one could be bothered to advise me about this, even though we didn' t have a range. I then went in to speak with the store manager and he told me he would forward my claim to the service department.because the store did not handle warranty work. I didn't hear from the servise department so I called them. They told me the shattered glass was not covered and I would need to call LG service department. I couldn't believe how I was being jerked around. I called LG and finally got some help. They are going to send a repair tech to my house to fix the range. All this took severAl months plus many hours on the phone to do the work that the store or the service department should have done. I moved to Rhinelander about 4 years ago. Since that time I spent several thousand dollars on furniture and appliances from this store. I would have thought I would have received some servise when it was necessary. I received nothing from the store and that's exactly what they will receive from me in the future! I will never buy anything from Furniture and Appliance Mart again.
